iOS and iPadOS
Hi all. New iPhone user here. Only had an iPhone for about 2 months. I'm trying to play King of Dragon Pass but having major trouble with sliders. At one point in the tutorial, it asks you to adjust one of the sliders to 10. It goes up to a few hundred. I know how to swipe up or down with one finger to adjust the slider, but I can't seem to get it where I want it. Is there a way to pick an exact value on a slider, or to adjust it in small increments? I have a Bluetooth keyboard if that will help somehow. Thanks.
Hello apple Vis,
Does anyone have any suggestions for using sling TV with VoiceOver? I switched from Direct TV now to Sling Tv, because it supports more people streaming at once, and prices seem to be a better rate.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I've just downloaded Spotify onto my iPhone and started to experiment with the free version to see what it's like and if I'll be able to use it.
I found a few issues with VoiceOver and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced them or has a possible way to work around these issues. They are as follows:
When Playing the song, I can't seem to find the next track buttons.
Hi.
So, I have a square card reader that connects to my phone using the lightning port, but I found voiceover doesn't read anything when the reader is connected. when I have my braille display connected, I get braille output from voiceover but not speech output. I've tried looking in the audio settings of voiceover, and there's nothing to switch the audio channels to have speech come out the speaker on the phone. I even tried connecting a pair of bluetooth headphones to see if that would work, but nothing. Is there any suggestions that might work with this?
Hello,
A friend of mine was telling me about how he manages his email, using swipe gestures.
He also informed me that there’s a way to do it with VoiceOver.
However, he couldn’t remember what the equivalent gestures for VoiceOver were, or where to find them online.
Can anyone assist?
Thanks.
I currently have an iPhone 6s plus running iOS 9.2. I use amazon music and pandora to stream music from my iPhone and before I upgraded from 9.1 to 9.2 I was able to go:
Hey Syri
wait a second.... then ask "what song is this?"
a few seconds later he would answer with something like "I believe this is Electrify by the Beastie Boys."
Now, since I have upgraded to 9.2 when I go:
Hey Syri
I wait a few seconds.... then ask "what song is this?"
I'm using ipod touch 4th gen, and can't seem to get this app to work.
I'm getting no speech, when i walk around the room, and pointting at thing.
I have just discovered that you can add to a text message whilst using Siri. E.g. After you dictate a message and Siri asks: “ready to send it?” Say: “Add”, or “add to it” and both parts will be read back. You can then add again before sending of course. Is this a new feature?
No one that I have told has been aware of it and Siri doesn’t mention it in the hints. It does make using Siri much more of a relaxing experience as you don’t have to get it perfect at the first try.
Hello all. I am just curious as to what people are using to do online radio broadcasts from an iPad. I took a look at Backpack Studio, and there is a lot to like there. However, it seems to me that that is meant more for podcasting, and that streaming is just a secondary add on. I like the accessible nature of it, but don’t know if it is what will best meet my needs. That app seems to be most suited to recording a podcast. I am also on the lookout for a good audio editor for iPad, but I want to keep those separate.
Hello everyone. I am posting this question after talking to a friend of mine who has a hearing impairment. How does one go about using the iPhone X or later if they cannot hear clearly? More specifically, normally when you want to go home or go to the app switcher, or access control center or notification center, you swipe up or downuntil you hear the various tones. How does somebody with a hearing impairment Do this if they cannot hear the tones very well? Can they rely solely on haptic feedback? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, I'm just looking for some opinions and helpful tips about using the Map app on my phone compared to the app Blind Square. I have no sight so can't pick up any clues for navigating. I've previously tried Blind Square but found it to pick up streets far away from where I actualy was, even though I had put the setting to the lowest diameter and whether it was lack of practice or understanding, it all seemed a little confusing.
Hello all, hope you’re doing well.
I am badly looking for an organizational tool for school and home life
I just listened to a very helpful webinar about the Reminders app with voiceover. They did not unfortunately have the time to cover using it with Siri.
I looked up that create a new list with the reminder app should be doable with Siri
I have and iPhone 6 running iOS 8.4.1 and I also use VoiceOver.
In the past, when I performed a three finger triple tap I could toggle the screen curtain on and off. when the screen curtain was active, my screen was totally dark.
Recently, I have been told that when the screen curtain is toggled on the screen dims, but it is not totally dark.
Is this a bug or new feature in iOS 8.4.1?
I would prefer the screen go totally dark when the screen curtain is toggled on for two reasons:
