Hi everyone, I am sending this message to find out if anyone else is experiencing the same problem as me on Whatsapp. I've seen this bug on Iphone 8 and Iphone SE 2020 with VoiceOver. Very often, when I open a conversation, I double tap on a voice message, but another one is played instead. Another problem is that using the flick from right to left, very often it doesn't make me go back very far in the message history. In fact at a certain point he tells me the name of the window and I can't go back.

After updating to the latest WhatsApp Release, on Ios 15.4.1 Iphone 12 mini,
Both apps are so heavy when opening them, voice over can not read anyting, and sometimes the app crash and stop working at all.
anyone has this Experience? and how can we tell Whatsapp about this?

Hi all, we have discussed in other threads the annoying issues with Whatsapp and IOS8.1. With the new version of Whatsapp, the problem seems to be completely solved for me. That's a relief :). I hope it works for all of you!

Hello,
I use WhatsApp on a regular basis to make and receive phone calls. I have noticed that the call history from WhatsApp is flooding my phone app which is something I do not want as I want to preserve this area strictly for actual phone calls and not WhatsApp calls. Is there a way to,
A. remove WhatsApp history from the phone app all in one go?
B. To prevent WhatsApp from flooding the phone app with the call history?

Hi. I've recentlly started using WhatsApp and have noticed a slight problem. When placing or receiving a call, the voice of the other person comes through on my speaker phone not through the earpiece. Is there any way I can change this?

Hi, in advance, I already know there is no such whatsapp for an iPad, but I know there are a lot of clients in order to access the whatsapp web function from your iPad.
So, the question is, could somebody recommend a friendly and accessible client for WhatsApp on iPadOS?

Perhaps someone has some cure for this very annoying problem. This is with an iphone 4s running IOS 7.2.
My whatsapp keeps continuously refreshing the screen each few seconds. This means that if it is a longish message you often have to try a few times to read it. Also if you have more than one message you cannot read them all because the screen keeps refreshing. Apparently not all users of whatsapp have that problem!
Does anyone have a cure for this most annoying problem?

So I recently got an iPad Pro second generation.
I began installing all my apps, that’s when I realized that there was no WhatsApp what so ever for iPad.
I tried using the web version but it’s not accessible at all.
I really enjoy using WhatsApp on my phone so I don’t really see why it can’t be on the iPad too.
I really hope they find a way to make the iPad app soon.
So, for now, does anyone have an accessible version of the app?

In a WhatsApp group, if the sender of a message is not one of your contacts, his phone number is spoken. This wastes some time in reading the messages and is not desirable.

so, how can we do this on ios?
is there an accessible way to do ?
I know that Apple Translate is included in Messaging app, but what about Whatsapp and other apps?

hi. when recording an audio message on watsapp, and you want to listen to the message before sending it, the play button isn't clearly labelled using VoiceOver. VoiceOver announces the button as PTT button, instead of play button. I've reported it quite a few times to watsapp, but they've not fixed it yet. is anyone else having this issue? also, when seeing how long your message is, there is a missing element when using VoiceOver, VoiceOver just makes a clicking sound.

Hi.
I really like the ability to play voice messages on whatsapp in fast speeds, but at least for some devices there is a small issue.
If we try to lock the device, the voice message stops playing untill we unlock again.
In fact, we don't need to unlock the device, just to wake it up by pressing the side button. As soon as the device locks again, the message stops.
I have got the iphone xs 512 gb, with the latest ios 15.3.1 and the latest whatsapp installed.
On normal speed, everything works as expected.

It looks like the app stops listening after a few seconds and before I press dictate again to finish the dictation process... Can someone check it before I contact WhatsApp?

So when I was using whatsapp previous to this problem, I could have it, so when I was in the app, and in another chat, if a message came in, but from a chat I wasn't currently in, the in app noise for chats would sound. However voiceover would not say anything, no banner would come up, literally just the sound
I think since IOS 16, possibly, this now no longer works.

Am using Whatsapp updated to the latest version, on my iphone, and something very strange happened 2 times for me,
When i open whatsapp, i found myself added to an "unknown group chat" this group has no members, and i found that i've been removed so, no one in this group and also, no messages or even who added me to this fake thing.
I Checked my Privacy and security options, even the linked devices, and no strange issues there.
so, what is this? is this a spam or a whatsapp bug or what is going on?
