Hi. I'm starting to find that braille screen input has become increasingly Laghi since the beginning of iOS 18. I'm running an iPhone 16 that iOS 18.4.1 and all apps and firmware are up-to-date. Is it just me? The other thing to note is I do have a screen protector on my phone that is tempered glass. Would this make a difference? I've always had one on and have noticed a difference even so.
iOS and iPadOS
I recently purchased an iPhone 15. I have noticed some BSI behaviors on this iPhone 15 that I have not previously experienced on any older models, and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced these and, if so, maybe you can provide some tips or solutions.
Hi, My name is Surabhi and I live in San Francisco, CA. Iβm the developer of Braillist - a free braille keyboard for the iPhone. I believe that accessible technology should be accessible to individuals from all economic backgrounds. This is often not the case and for this reason, I'm proud that the community of people using Braillist is steadily growing. Special thanks to all members of the blind and sighted community who have given me constructive feedback over the past weeks and months.
I'm trying to find some apps where I can do some brain training. I know there's Fast Math and Accessible Math, but what else? Any grammar ones? Spelling? Not looking for trivia apps, but will take suggestions for them, because maybe that will change.
Hi,
I have been using Brave a lot recently & really like it. I have it set as my default browser on all my devices.
When trying to delete bookmarks under iOS16.3 with either the current AppStore version or the beta, the app immediately crashes.
Iβve reported this via their forum, Twitter, Mastodon & an AppStore review I left this evening.
Has anyone else seen this?
The current version of Brave is 1.4.7.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Hello to all. As those of you who used the app know, the Breaking News Plus app from NBC was discontinued at the end of 2016. My question is this. What is another news app to get notifications of breaking news? Ahy suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Hi all,
My wife has an iPhone 14 pro max running IOS 17.
She uses magnification in the form of the zoom feature which she has enabled from under vision settings. She also has voiceover enabled.
She needs the screen brightness to be at 100%. The iPhone however keeps reducing this brightness to about 40% or less. This is despite turning off automatic features like true tone, adaptive brightness.
Is this brightness reduction hard codded into the phone or can it be disabled?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows of a British English dictionary app that allows you to hear how a word is pronounced after youβve looked it up spoken by a human voice? :-) Might be a longshot but thought Iβd ask anyway. Or just does anyone know if British English dictionaries in general if there isnβt one with spoken pronunciations available.
hey yawl, hope you are well.
I am a user who uses British text to speech and a question is bothering me since I have started using the iPhone.
USA voice are much higher quoloty and pronounces everything as perfect as a TTS can bee. however, the British voices are short of being perfect.
they have a lot of miss pronunciation problems and they cannot read the dates in both formats since I live in the USA and love both worlds equally.
I am having trouble navigating a table on a particular web page. Specifically if anyone is using "Full View" on the Fidelity Investments web site, the "Net Worth" table. This is a three column table The first colomn has a single cell that "Spans" all the rows. When I go to the cecond column and try to navigate the individual rows I can only get to the first and last rows. Any suggestions on navigating complicated tables with this type of structure?
