I am looking for an exercise app for the Apple watch that provides specific functionality. I had some medical testing completed recently that identified optimal ranges for my personal heart rate for different types of exercise goals. I have a heart monitor, but I need to find an app that lets me enter the range I want my heart rate to stay in during exercise and then have it tell me (via vibration or sound) when I either am in that range or I am out of that range.
Hi, all. I don't have one of the latest Apple watches, so I'm wondering how accessible it is to monitor your sleep. What kinds of info can you get and how do you access that info--on the watch itself, or within the Watch app on your iPhone? Thanks for any info. Someone I know would like to monitor what's happening with their sleep and they use VoiceOver on their phone.
Hello. I just updated to watch os 4 and I wasn’t even sure how it worked in Watch Os in watch os three. It says I should use the music app on my phone but I cannot find anything there at all. I cannot see how to share music to my watch.
Hi All
The other day I found out you can mute VoiceOver on the watch without turning it off. It acts the same way as it
does on iOS.
For the last few days I have kept my watch muted, only unmuting to check the time or look at notifications.
is this a new VoiceOver feature? or has it always been there? Either way, I’ve never come across it before and love it already!
Has this feature been there all along? or is it new? If it is new, they kept it very quiet.
Answers on a postcard please!!! :)
I have never had this problem with my watch before. It is acting really sluggish and it is hard to get things done on it. Is there a fix for this issue?
Hello,
I got myself an Apple watch Ultra 2 last month for my birthday & love it, but for some strange reason, It's not finding today's update of WatchOS 11.4.
I keep checking & it just tells me that 11.3.1 is the latest.
has anyone else seen this?
Hello all. I try to be respectful, I try to give anyone the benifit of the doubt. Here are my thoughts on everything released earlier this week well, last as of now.
Iphones, easy as we've always had it. It's no secret technology gets better with time, like a beer or wine, we know the 5S is better slightly then the 5, better then the 4S etc, so the iPhone6 and iPhone6+ big deal? i have another years or so until my upgrade comes in, and i'm thrilled to wait, as long as IOS8 runs ok on my five, I'll take it.
Hi!
I know that Nanogram hasn't been updated in about a year, but I'm having trouble signing into my telegram account, I dictate my number and hit next but nothing seems to happen. does it take a while to register that you're trying to sign in?
I'm also trying to get into WhatchChat 2 and I know it's not the most accessible, but does anyone have any tips with scanning the qr code?
Hi. I've just purchased the Apple Watch series 1 and I really like it. I listened to David Woodbridge's many podcasts on getting started with the watch and they were all really really useful. However, the podcast on walking a route with the apple watch using Maps was most impressive. However, as yet, I've not managed to get this to work properly. The first walk i did I got it to work but when I did one yesterday it didn't seem to work properly for me.
Hello,
This has been asked before but the poasts were old. Are there any good navigation apps for use with the apple watch. I've heard the native maps app was of some use, is this true? What about blind square. I live in New YOrk, so the answer in the question may depend according to region, but answers from anywhere would be appreciated.
I bought a new watch Serie 1, paired it with my Iphone but I have some questions about shortcuts.
1. How to use rotor?
2. Am I able to change voices?
3. How to volume it up and down (Apple watch itself not voiceover)
these are the three main questions that are causing me problems, I am sure I'll come up wit others.
Thanks in advance
I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, so I thought a small post was in order.
Since the latest version of watchOS; you can change speaking rate easily by pressing the crown to get to Home Screen and just flick up or down with one finger to change the rate; that is the screen that shows all the aps. I ran into this one by mistake when doing something on the watch and I did something and it slowed down. If it could slow down, then there had to be a way to speed it up again and it was soon found. It is good that this is doable without the phone having to be used.
Hi beautiful people. So I have an Apple Watch Series 7 and I absolutely love it. My only question is, when you go into the keyboard settings I think it is to add new phrases as replies when you can’t be bothered writing on the Apple Watch? So I’m looking for new phrases I can add. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know. Because I’m extremely sick of either trying to type on my phone or watch, and trying to do something else and you don’t have your phone in hand. Hopefully I’ve described everything properly, so you can make sense of it.
Hello,
I was recently given an Apple Watch for my birthday. Since I am slowly losing my vision, I have come to depend on VoiceOver. Can someone help me to understand the gestures and what role the physical buttons play when using VoiceOver? I seem to be struggling with two-finger gestures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Steve Jobs
P.S. Yes, Apple created VoiceOver. No, that does not make me an automatic expert.
i just paired my watch 4 yesterday, and i have questions.
my watch is with celular, and i get messages, whatsapp, and all notifacations on my phone to the watch.
i have c.p in my left hand, which means i'm doing everything with my right hand, the watch is on the left hand so i can control it with the right hand.
how can i put it on my hand, with no sighted asistance?
one more question, phone calls should arrive to the watch also?
third, what is walkie talkie and whats it heart and briv?
About 30 minutes ago I released a new version of TimeBuzz,version 1.3.
This update includes a new Greenwich buzz pattern that I'm personally a great fan of. It was suggested to us by a user of TimeBuzz and is very easy to follow. With this pattern the tens of the hours and minutes are indicated with long vibrations and the single digits with short vibrations. This makes it easier to count the vibrations. Give it a try!
I just released a new version of TimeBuzz into the Appstore. This v1.1 will now by default immediately start buzzing the current time when it's launched via a complication on the watch face. This was one of the most requested features, also here on the AppleVis forum, so I just wanted to let you know about it. Updates are of course free if you already bought the app in the Appstore: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/timebuzz/id993285729?mt=8
I’ve got the “Speak on wrist raised” turned off. Which means I either tap the screen or press the digital crown to activate the watch. This works perfectly fine. But when I wear a shirt, or a jacket, my sleeve brushes against the watch screen which also activates it. So find myself pressing my palm on the screen to lock it, until it happens again.
