Hello,
I was recently given an Apple Watch for my birthday. Since I am slowly losing my vision, I have come to depend on VoiceOver. Can someone help me to understand the gestures and what role the physical buttons play when using VoiceOver? I seem to be struggling with two-finger gestures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Steve Jobs
P.S. Yes, Apple created VoiceOver. No, that does not make me an automatic expert.

About 30 minutes ago I released a new version of TimeBuzz,version 1.3.
This update includes a new Greenwich buzz pattern that I'm personally a great fan of. It was suggested to us by a user of TimeBuzz and is very easy to follow. With this pattern the tens of the hours and minutes are indicated with long vibrations and the single digits with short vibrations. This makes it easier to count the vibrations. Give it a try!
I just released a new version of TimeBuzz into the Appstore. This v1.1 will now by default immediately start buzzing the current time when it's launched via a complication on the watch face. This was one of the most requested features, also here on the AppleVis forum, so I just wanted to let you know about it. Updates are of course free if you already bought the app in the Appstore: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/timebuzz/id993285729?mt=8
Hello.
I have a small niggly issue with my Apple Watch.
Iāve got the āSpeak on wrist raisedā turned off. Which means I either tap the screen or press the digital crown to activate the watch. This works perfectly fine. But when I wear a shirt, or a jacket, my sleeve brushes against the watch screen which also activates it. So find myself pressing my palm on the screen to lock it, until it happens again.
I have a rather strange issue since updating to WatchOS 10.3 (same with 10.4).
There seems to be a synchronisation issue when using the Settings App on the Apple Watch itself, vs. the Settings screen in the Watch App on iOS.
I originally tried to load the Premium version of the german Anna voice via the iOS Watch App Settings screen, which failed to dl the voice to the watch.
When I tried to do the premium voice download from the Settings app on the Apple Watch directly later, I found that there is no premium voice for Anna which I could download.
Hi all,
I just updated my Apple Watch Series 9 to WatchOS 11 and can't seem to get the new voices rotor to work.
I've tried adding a couple of voices on both the watch itself and using the Watch app. The voices appear to download and add fine, but the "voices" option never seems to appear in the rotor. I've tried restarting VoiceOver, as well as restarting both the watch and phone (not that restarting the phone should make any difference).
Is this a bug? Or am I missing something?
Thanks for any help.
Hi. I just went to set a timer on my watch and noticed that the hrs and min pickers are gone replaced by pre-defined times. Any way to get the old timer back? I needed 35 min and the only options close to that were 30 min or 1 hrs. Haven't tried the phone timer on iOS 10 yet but hope it's not the same.
I have the Apple Watch Series 8 with WatchOS 10. Is there a notes app for the Apple Watch that is accessible? Many thanks.
Hello everyone,
I am currently using an Apple Watch Ultra (first generation), and my watch is updated with the latest watchOS software. However, Iāve noticed that while reading notifications, the watch occasionally crashes, or the voice-over function seems to stop reading the notifications. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?ā
Hello,
As you've seen earlier, or rather later if this comes at the beginning of the table of values for topics, I have an older watch. of course, it's from Apple and was the demonstration version of watch 2, I believe. I won't bore you with all the details of how I obtained it but was given it by a well-known friend. I didn't find my topics specifically, so here they are ... and they're many, so bare with me, please?
1. How to find the exact series number of Apple Watch on the unit itself and/or in the about sections of the iPhone watch app?
Hello. I have been using just press record for a very long time, but I have needs of having something to dropbox and I wonder if there is any organized recorder for watch. Doing it on my work.
Just got the new 13 mini and managed to set it up without sighted assistance, or though I thought, it all seems to work, but the apple watch will not pair up and as someone who runs a lot, this is important to me, so I'd welcome any thoughts? I've tried the obvouse things I think, but will take any suggestions - thanks in avbance!
Since upgrading to Watch os 2, the Ping iphone doesn't do anything.
I googled this and apparently it's a common problem. Has anyone else noticed this?
I reported it to Apple, and we'll see what they have to say.
I haven't Apple Watch yet but I'm planning buy it. I have some questions about it.
Can I mute Apple Watch?
Can I turn VoiceOver on and off so that it's not needed to go in settings?
Hi all:
The other day, I had the opportunity to play with a fully functional Apple Watch. The taste I got made me all the more excited to actually get mine and really put it through its paces.
Is anybody else able to delete emails directly from the Apple Watch?
When I swipe up to access the āTrashā control and then double-tap, nothing seems to happen.
Am I doing something wrong (quite likely (smiles)), or is this a known problem?
Hello.
I have an apple watch sport 38 milimeter.
I read that it should be possible to wake the watch by just pressing the screen, but it doesnĀØāt allways work. Am I pressing too softly am I supposed to do a force touch to wake it?
I can use raise to wake, but that takes a lot of battery, I have heard. I havenāt tried that much but am writing ackording to what has been said about battery useage.
Am I doing something wrong?
