watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Post Date:

Hello.
I have looked for a sleep talk app for ages.
Finally I found it. You need a watch to be able to use it.
It is simply called Sleep Talk and it is 3.00 kr. That would be about three dollars.
The app is fully accessible and I used it tonight and the thing is that you don’t have to listen to all the audio, just the one when you actually talk.

Hi, I know I'm asking a boat load of questions, but this is my new toy haha. So what are some sleep tracking apps for the apple watch please?

One of the biggest complaints about the Apple watch is that its really a two hand device right now. This is some what true for everyone, even sited people, since any manipulation of the watch really requires the use of your right hand, but its especially true for voice over users, because of Apple's poor utilization of raise to speak and Siri. When I am out and about, with my cane in one hand, I often find myself having to stop walking so that I can use the watch with both hands.

Hello. I have a question regarding the apple watch series three. How is voiceover compared to the series two? Has anyone purchased the LTE version and if so, how do you like it?

I have been playing with the Noise app on my Series 6 watch. I like having the dB meter on my watch face, but I wish I didn't have to swipe or tap it for updates.

I would like it to automatically read the sound level at selectable time increments, and maybe have an average over all level as well.

Does anyone know of an app I can run as a complication on my watch that will do this. Even if the complication didn't update, but then tapping through to the app would provide updates, that would be good too.

Thanks.

Just started with Spotify. I have an Apple Watch and hae seen I can use it on my watch. I press download to Watch and it says nothing but then I go there again and see Remove from Apple Watch. Is there a +ay to see the progress of the transfer?

Hello, is there a way to start and pause a workout on the native Workout app with gloves? It can be difficult to press together the digital crown and side button and, for some reason, the Assistive touch feature is dimmed and can't be turned on. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, is it possible to measure your steps taken on an apple watch, if so, how is this achieved? Many thanks for your help in advance.

Hello all,

Now it's my turn to ask a seemingly stupid question. lol

Post Date:

Hello,
When I compose a new message on my S2 watch, at the bottom of the "title" screen--where you can compose such a message, I find the name of the friend I got the watch from. That's the only name down there, using the digital crown for navigation w/VoiceOver. What is this, and how can I add others to that list? If I can't do that, how can I remove the man's contacts from that part of Messages but still pick him out of the contacts on iether phone or contacts itself?
Thank you,
Ashleigh Piccinino

Hi.

I had an alarm set for 0145 hours in the morning so I could be awake to go to an event on one of the chat sites for blind. When I checked my alarm it seems to have jumped forward an hour to 0245. I tried to set it to 1.45 a m and it still remains at 2.45. I have even tried a watch reset.

Does anyone know a good solution to this?

Are there alarm apps for the watch that might do something different?

I know that our clocks here in the UK went forward an hour so I'm not sure if that threw the watch.

Thanks

From Snowy.

Hello everyone. I have a bit of a mystery I am trying to solve. If you have any ideas as to what is causing this, please share in the comments.

It's probably not an important detail but my parents have the same last name. When my mom texts me. The message ID on my Apple watch shows that it is from my dad, not her. But, the notification shows that the same message is from her on my iPhone. There are no anomalies when my dad texts me, and, this doesn't seem to happen when my mom texts anyone else who has both an Apple watch and an iPhone.

Hello. Just got a new apple watch and see there are things for swimming but is there a way to measure swimming in a pool?

Post Date:

So I just updated to watch os 4. I saw something about a feature that measures how many lenghts you have been swimming. Does this work for apple watch sports? I am asking because I do not want to try and screw up my watch because I love it and cannot afford a new one.

Post Date:

I am planning to get a watch specifically to swim with. I am not sure if I need to get a titanium case? I am worried about possible damage from scrapes with the pol side or ladders. I presume what ever case you have the glass screen must always be at risk.
Any advice thankfully received.

Hello all,
I've encountered a bug with the Taptic time feature on my watch. Sometimes when I double Tap the display, it speaks and doesn't give me the vibrations. Has anyone else encountered this issue. Are there any workarounds or settings I should change?
Thank you for any suggestions!

Post Date:

Since I received my Apple Ultra 2 watch the taptic time is not working as expected. My expectation is that when I double tap the watch face, I will get the appropriate taptic vibrations to let me know the current time. Well this sort of works. The problem is that the time is spoken before the taptic vibrations start. This defeats the purpose for me. I am in bed and do not want to wake my spouse. I double tap the watch and there is the time spoken, then the vibration starts. Why bother? I have had Apple watches since version 3 and have no problems with the taptic time.

Hi, I've only recently got a watch (it's the Ultra) and have been swimming with it once. I switched on water lock and after that did not get any more speech until I switched off water lock an hour later. I'm wondering whether it's possible in any way to tell the time with water lock switched on? I'd really like to be able to tell the time after a while swimming.

Hi to all, If I buy the apple watch sport does it only go well with sporting clothing
or will it suits any type of clothing worn and look ok even for the casual user who is active via walking and out and about a lot of the time?
or should i go for the premium mid range watch for every day use?
