I am still trying to learn my way around the Watch, and was hoping for some guidance in regard to the best way to use a bluetooth headset in conjunction with both the Watch and iPhone.
Up until now, things have been simple, in that I have only ever wanted or needed to use the headset with the iPhone. So, turn then on, and they are immediately paired and away I go.

Hi, i got a new my Apple Watch today after that my previous Apple Watch was broken. I updated to Watch OS6, after the update i can’t find the Taptick time. I remember that it’s need to be in Voice Over settings. I use my Apple Watch in hebrew language. Where i should find it? Thanks and i am sory about my long post.
Hey guys. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm curious if this is a voice over bug or something.
I put both my apple watches in theater mode. However, when i got a phone call, the watch rang. I don't want it to ring, nor should it in theater mode. I put it in theater mode cause i was in am important meeting. Fortunately i caught it in time. It's OK for the vibration, but i don't need it to ring while i'm in a meeting. Any thoughts on this guys and what to do?
Hello, I recently had a fit bit. My experience wasn’t too good because it’s not that accessible. I am trying to decide whether to get an Apple Watch and I would use it for fitness purposes. I would like to hear from others who use the watch for fitness purposes and how accessible and what activities they use it for. Thank you.
Hi everyone. I currently use an Apple Watch Series 6 and I’d like to find a keyboard to be able to use with it. I know that the FlickType keyboard was discontinued although I think it’s still receiving updates but I haven’t been able to get it to work through my Apple Watch and I don’t want to pay for a dead app. Are there any accessible alternatives that I can download? Both my watch and my phone are on the latest software. I’m completely blind and a full-time voiceover user.
Hi All, i have for two weeks opportunity to try out apple watch, 38 MM, sport.
Here are my impresions after three days:
- voiceover is responding so slowly, very hard to work with larger apps.
- all apps are loading very slowly.
- in noisy environment totally inusable.
- i like very very much fitness functionality.
- i like the way how i can tune my clockfaces, complications, color etc etc.
- i like messaging app, dictating and replying to messages is very precise, even im czech language.
- i hate siri, it can not speak czech.
Series 4 with Watch OS 7.1
Using VoiceOver, I can no longer set timers other than 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Swiping right just gives the "bottom of screen" sound. I've tried various swipes up and down, double tapping and even had a go with double tap and hold. No access to other timers or custom timer. This happens going in via my watch face complication or via the full list of apps. Is anyone else having this problem? Can anyone point me in the direction of a fix please? Failing that, are there any accessible timer apps for Apple watch?
Many thanks
I’ve just got my first iWatch. It’s  a series 5. I’m an experienced IPhone user so know my way around using VoiceOver. However, one function of the iWatch has me flummoxed. I got it mainly for the Gym, but I can’t move the time I wish to do in the workout app. It says sweep up or down with one finger to adjust the time. This doesn’t work. Well, I can’t get it to work. What am I doing wrong?
I'm really in two minds about getting an apple watch. I saw it yesterday without voice over cause it was only a demmo on the watch, and i was all for having one.
My main reason for getting one is because i do a lot of walking and although i use the run keeper app on my phone, it can be a a hassle getting it out of my pocket to unlock it to check my time.
Are there any other devices that would give me my time and pace etc like the sports watches would for sighted people?
after years of, I don't think I want it, was bought the series eight cellular Friday. I didn't get the exact one i wanted, I want silver casing and blue band. I went with Starlight. I know i can change bands. The biggest annoyance is waiting the three whole days even with Prime shipping to get it. Seriously though, What are your experiences with apps? Things like twitter, not so much FB but Uber, Lyft, G maps that kinda thing. I need to a wireless charger soon for all these things. apple come up with your wireless mat, please.
Okay, supposedly, in Apple Watch, there is a way to disable touch to wake. I'm using a series 7 Apple Watch with the latest OS installed. For some time I've gotten the impression that there is no way to keep Apple Watch from waking if one bumps the screen. Now I'm told there is a touch to wake, or tap to wake option that can be disabled in settings.
Hi. Does anyone know how to get touch typing on Watch OS? Right now the only way to enter text in things like an e-mail or text message you have to find each letter and double-tap on the letter you want which can be pretty time consuming, and dictating text in certain places like on the bus isn't working that well. I know I can use a braille display with the watch but I feel that braille support needs some improvement.
Hello all:
After a day of Using my APple Watch, i have 2 important questions:
1- I hate the standered typing way, so, is there away to change it on my apple watch?
2- My watch default VOiceOver Language is English UK, and i can add a new Languages in my Roder settings, but how can i change the default VO language From UK To English US?
thanks in advance
I learned yesterday when visiting an Apple store that the demo watches don't allow anyone to test the watch's accessibility features.
I am interested in possibly buying a watch for my adult daughter who is blind and has some developmental delay. She uses her iPhone 6 and its accessibility features pretty well. But because she has some minor hand coordination limitations, it's important for her to see if she can handle gestures on a smaller watch screen. She has never used an Apple watch before.
Hi. My husband recently forgot his watch at home but took his phone to work. Since then, the watch has been disconnected from the iPhone and has not reconnected. He tried to unpair the watch from the Apple Watch app on the iPhone, and the iPhone gave him the "start pairing" screen, but the Apple watch still thinks it's connected to the iPhone. The settings glance says disconnected, but it shows the clock face and home screen. It has not confirmed that it is no longer paired and gone back to the setup screen. How can we get it to do that? Are we missing something?
