There were new TTS voices for VoiceOver when iOS 9 was released. Samantha used to be the only english VO voice available, also including Alex. But Apple has now added the Siri Male and Siri Female voices, each of them with enhanced quality voices included.
To change the TTS voice of VoiceOver, go to
Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Speech.
Select the Default Dialect option.
Now, you can flick right until you hear "Siri Male (Default).…

In this tutorial, I will walk you through getting past Scene 8. For days and even months, I've been struggling to pass by Scene 8 and continue. But the thing I realized, was that you didn't have to keep swiping left multiple times or swiping right multiple times. This would cause me to crash into. obstacles. This guide helps you. "Guide me! Through the trees!" Edward Blake first says. You will get instructions saying to swipe in the direction pointed by…

Back in iOS 8, users couldn't text iPhones. They could only text another iPad. If they wanted to text an iPhone user that had a phone number to text, they would have to download a third-party texting app. Now that iOS 9-9.1 has rolled in, users can now do this. They no longer have to get an Apple ID from an iPhone user to text. They can now get an iPhone users phone number.
You can still text another iPhone by getting the iPhone user's Apple ID, but the question is how do you…

HEADPHONES REQUIRED. :)

Your daughter has took a poisoned arrow from Scene 15. She cannot tell you or lead you to places. You only have a man.

The man leads you to the forest, saying that he can't go with you any further and gives you instructions to follow the song and that it will guide you to a demon's lair. More information about the demon from the man is from Scene 16.

When the man leaves follow the wind so that it's in the center of your head. If it…

In this guide, I'll be explaining the king's strategies and how to defeat him accordingly. This guide has been updated, since the last modification was February of 2017, and since then, a Blind Legend has done some things.

This scene is now considered separate, it is no longer part of scene 26.
You start out at the door to the hall. Blake in his rage, slams the door open, and everyone halts in their celebratory activities.
Your wife calls out to you, and you…

I’ve been waiting for the option to slow down the speed of double tapping when using VoiceOver for quite some time and now with iOS 9.1 it is here!

Several of my clients struggle with the speed at which they previously had to single finger double tap the screen to activate buttons, open apps, open links etc, not to mention two finger double tapping to answer or end calls coming in on their iPhones. I’m really pleased that Apple have made this option available as I think it will make…

In some iOS apps, with VoiceOver enabled, tapping the top of the screen with four fingers does not move to the top of lists. In these situations, it seems necessary to repeatedly flick to the left until the first item has been reached. Examples of this behavior can be found in Apple's new iOS 9 News app and the Voice Mail section of the built-in Phone app.

VoiceOver tells us the solution may be found in the status bar at the top of the screen. Follow these steps in an app that does…

This guide will focus on completing the task of transferring a file via Wi-Fi from your Mac or PC to your iOS device, from one iOS device to another, and vice versa. The actions which can be carried out with the transferred file will also be discussed.

What is 3D Touch, Anyway?

3D Touch is arguably one of the biggest features of the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus models. Before we get in to specifics about how it works with VoiceOver, I thought it would be helpful to go directly to Apple's 3D Touch webpage to get an overview of exactly what 3D Touch is:

iPhone 6s introduces an entirely new way to interact with your phone. For the frst time,…

Intro

Xcode is the application development program made by Apple, available free in the App Store. It's used to make apps for iOS, OS X, Apple TV, and Apple Watch, in Swift or Objective-C, and can be used for C and C++ development as well. It is a powerful, intuitive piece of software… if you can see it. Voiceover users have a harder time of things in some ways. That's not to say that Xcode isn't usable--it…

I had a problem moving pics off my iPHONE to my PC, which I solved. Am posting here so it might help others.

For purposes of keyword searching, see also

We were on vacation and my hubby wanted to use my iPHONE as a camera.

When we got back to the hotel, I plugged the phone in to my Windows netbook but the Portable Device, iPHONE internal storage folder was empty. Normally under "computer" in Windows,…

What Is Audio Hijack?

Audio Hijack is an app that lets you capture audio from your Mac. You can apply effects, mix things together, monitor your mix, and record it all to a wide range of different file formats. It's the easiest way to capture audio from a microphone, your whole system, one application, or a combination of any of the above. You can record to files, and you choose how many; if you want one track per sound source, you can do that, or you can have everything go to a…

With the release of Apple Music Radio, I've found the need for quickly checking the title and artist of the currently playing song in iTunes, even when I'm not in the app. I wrote an AppleScript to do that.
It can be assigned to a key in keyboard commander if desired. Here's the code, simply paste it into the script editor and save it where you keep your other scripts:

tell application "iTunes"
if player state is playing then
set myTrack…

Hello,

It is about Spotify desktop application on Mac and the steps to make it accessible.

My spotify version is 1.0.6.80 but any version later than 0.9.4 (released in September, 2013) would be fine.

There are two steps to make it happen.

Step 1: Open Terminal.app
Step 2: Type the following line and hit enter:
/Applications/Spotify.app/Contents/MacOS/Spotify --force-renderer-accessibility&

That's it. If Spotify doesn't launch,…
