JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless Earbuds: Great and Inexpensive

Posted on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 by divakitty418

Introduction

I have had the JLab Go Air Pop earbuds for over a year and a half now, and they are amazing, especially for something that costs only around $20 or $30! I typically use them for listening to music, and it's a very good experience! What really stood out to me in these earbuds were their long battery life, three different sound settings, and the magnetic charging case that actually comes with a USB cable built-in!

Bose Ultra Open Earbuds Review: A Compelling Offering for Those Who Prioritise Environmental Awareness, but at a Price

Posted on Saturday, February 24, 2024 by David Goodwin

With the release of the Ultra Open Earbuds featuring an unconventional open-ear design that attaches around the ears to let in environmental sounds, vital for situational awareness and spatial orientation for blind users like myself, Bose offers an intriguing alternative to other open-ear buds like Sony's LinkBuds, bone conduction headphones such as…

Posted on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 by Troy

This is my review of the tribit xfree tune headphones.

I bought these through the harbolt company as he seems to be the only one carying them right now, everyone else was sold out. Not sure if these have been discontinued?

Sony LinkBuds Review: The Best Headphones Yet for Full Ambient Awareness Without Compromising on Performance or Features

Posted on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 by David Goodwin

For anybody wanting to be able to hear the world around them while listening to music; podcasts; audiobooks; guided navigation or VoiceOver, my likely recommendation over recent years would be either bone-conduction headphones that leave your ears uncovered or headphones with some form of ‘transparency’ mode that uses built-in microphones to process ambient sounds. This changed last week with the launch of Sony's newest set of fully wireless earbuds, the Sony LinkBuds.

Priced at US$…

Jabra elite 85t, a unique pair of true wireless earbuds

Posted on Sunday, July 11, 2021 by Moopie Curran

I was in search of a pair of Bluetooth earbuds which were noise cancelling, and had multi point capabilities. For those of you who aren't geeks like me, multi point is the ability to be simultaneously connected to two Bluetooth devices at a time. For example, my iPhone and my android media player, but that's neither here nor there. Anyway, upon recommendation from an AppleVis member, I decided to buy the jabra elite 85t's. At the time, when I first sought recommendations for…

Bose frames Tempo Audio sunglasses aren't Perfect, but are a Worthy 2nd Generation Offering

Posted on Friday, December 25, 2020 by Reginald George

""Don't be afraid of the guy in shades …" -- Corey Hart

I love good headphones and clear discrete audio. Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a speaker nut! However, I am the last person you would typically expect to pay $250 for good headphones or sunglasses. I am way too cheap! I can hear my younger self saying Reggie; you have completely done lost your mind!"

My first pair of Frames was the first generation Alto model from 2019.
They…

The Enacfire G20 Truly Wireless Earbuds: It is Scary How Good These Are!!!

Posted on Friday, March 13, 2020 by sockhopsinger

Preliminaries and Pricing

First of all, I was going to do this review next week, but right now these earbuds are on sale in the United States for $45.99. In Canada, they are 106 Canadian dollars, and in the UK, they are £49.99.

I heard a different pair of these earbuds reviewed at the beginning of last week. They sounded good, but there were features missing that turned me off from them, namely no volume control on the earbuds. However, I searched for other earbuds by the…

Pamu Slide and Pamu Slide Mini: Great Sound and Great Battery

Posted on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 by sockhopsinger

In this review, I am actually covering two products, but they are so similar that I feel this will work just fine. For our purposes, we will be calling the original Pamu Slide "the Slide", and the Pamu Slide Mini will be referred to as "the Mini." When I first bought the Slide, it was one of the most funded kickstarter campaigns ever, and most certainly for a truly wireless earbud. It was also endorsed by many, many celebrities and very highly reviewed from early testers. Is it worth it…

Review of the Aftershokz Aeropex Bone Conduction Headphones

Posted on Thursday, October 31, 2019 by David Goodwin

I've been using AfterShokz bone conduction headphones since 2013 and they are a regular companion on my daily walks, allowing me to listen to music, podcasts, books, and VoiceOver while still being able to hear traffic and whatever else is going on around me.

The $159 Aftershokz Aeropex are the company's smallest, sleekest, lightest, and most advanced bone conduction headphones yet. They are well-designed, have good build quality, and are extremely comfortable to wear.

Anker Soundcore Life2 Over The Ear Active Noise-cancelling headphones

Posted on Monday, September 2, 2019 by Moopie Curran

I got these headphones as a backup pair of headphones in case my Bose QC35's ever broke, because it's quite noisy at my house, and noise-cancelling headphones are a must for me. Anyway, on the left ear cup, you will find two buttons, going from back to front, first is the button that you press and hold to turn active noise-cancelling (ANC) on or off. Next to that button is the power button, press and hold it to turn the headphones on. ANC will come on by default, if you don't…

Jabra Active 65 Elite

Posted on Sunday, May 19, 2019 by Sabrina

I needed a pair of true wireless headphones and decided to go for the ones with the longest battery in one charge.
I bought a pair of Jabra Active 65 Elite. I didn’t know anything about them but thought they sounded good.
They were easy to pair. Very straight forward.
The problem was the app. It is Jabra Sound +. Most of this app is accessible, but there is a lot of fiddling around with the moments that are unlabeled and don’t even say button.
Something that was even…

Creative SXFI Air; expensive room-filling sound on affordable headphones

Posted on Friday, March 29, 2019 by HoldenM

I'm back ladies and gentlemen, slapping you upside the dome with yet another headphone review. Today I want to talk a little bit about the Creative SXFI Air, a very new headset that had it's debut at CES 2019. For the last several months I've had an interest in 3d audio. I'm not talking about the fake 7.1-channel surround sound in say, some of the Logitech gaming headsets. I'm talking about typical stereo audio, but with a little bit of reverb and other effects that…

Limited Edition Skullcandy Crusher 360

Posted on Monday, October 29, 2018 by HoldenM

Here I am with another review. It's taken me some time to write this one.

Today I have the Skullcandy Crusher 360, which I will say is definitely an upgrade from the original Skullcandy Crusher Wireless I talked about quite a while ago.

There are some cons with this one, and I will discuss those, but let's start with the layout of the headphones.

The first thing to mention is that as far as the way they feel and the way they work, the Crusher 360 is quite…

Picun H2 Bluetooth Earphone with Mic Magnetic Bass Stereo Earphones Sports headset

Posted on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 by thebigt

The earphone jack on my ipad mini recently gave up the ghost, so i was on the hunt for a pair of cheap bluetooth earphones as i didn’t want to be spending a lot of money on something in case it was a bit more than the earphone jack not working.

description

These earphones are a similar shape to Apples’ earbuds that come with an iphone or ipad. They have a wire connecting one to the other and are about an arms length along when they are fully stretched out…

Aftershokz Trekz Air Bone-conduction Headphones

Posted on Saturday, September 29, 2018 by jack

After comparing this with my Trekz Titanium, I can say that this successor to the Trekz Titanium is definitely their best model yet. It's lighter, runs on Bluetooth 4.2, and sounds better.

No More Plastic

In order to make the unit lighter, Aftershokz have completely done away with the plastic part of the frame, making the only plastic the electronics on the sides. The form factor is almost identical to the Trekz Titanium, except for the fact that it is 20% lighter, has a complete…

Reviewing the Bose SoundSport Free wireless headphones

Posted on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 by Rod Maccoux

I have owned the Bose Soundsport Free wireless headphones for two months now. In my opinion, vision is not required to easily get the most out of this product.

The earbuds come with a durable looking case which latches securely. There are two ways to know when you have the case positioned properly. The first way is to notice what feels like a crack just above the latch button. This is where the cover latches to the case. The other way is that the USB port for charging the case is…

Blue Satellite: Premium Sound, Great Build and a few features worth discussing

Posted on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 by HoldenM

Hey everyone. Today I'd like to take a few minutes of your time to review the Blue Satellite, a headset that came out in 2017 from company Blue. They have the Blue Snowball, Blue Yetti and some other products you've probably heard of.

A few years ago they made their first forray into headphones with the Blue Mofi's, now called Sadie, and although I have not used that product, I have heard it has an amazing sound. I believe this is their attempt to provide a similar…

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless Headphones: Vibrate my head!

Posted on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 by HoldenM

Hello. Today I would like to review for you the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless headphones.

This is one of my favorite Bluetooth headsets, and in just a second I'll tell you what makes these headphones so great.

I first heard about this pair of headphones early last fall. Their major selling points were the haptic bass you can feel, and a 40-hour battery life, which in my opinion, in a $200 headset, is a bit crazy, but nevertheless, I've tested it and the battery life is…
