The iPhone 4 appears in 2 categories; Best New Product Or Innovation and Best Hardware Product. VoiceOver is nominated for the title of Best Screen Access Program.

Apple itself is nominated for the title of Best Company, whilst the iPad goes up against the iPhone 4 for the crown of Best New Product Or Innovation.

iPhone 5 rumored to launch on 6 June

ITProPortal is reporting that the iPhone 5 may be launched on Monday the 6th of June 2011.

As with every launch of a new or updated Apple product, there is much speculation about the possible features of the next iPhone. ITProPortal reckon the most likely are that it will come with slightly reworked antenna, a new Cortex A5 processor with a new PowerVR-based core, a buttonless design and CDMA/GSM compatibility, as well as a white model being available at launch.

Apple have released to developers the second beta of iOS 4.3, as well as a new pre-release copy of Apple TV software designed to support the mobile operating system's new AirPlay feature for third-party programmers.

Microsoft releases OneNote app for iPhone

Microsoft has just released a OneNote app for the iPhone, and it's free "for a limited time".

As with the Windows Phone 7 app, the iPhone app will let you manage notes and shopping lists (and even add photos taken with the iPhone's camera), and then sync those with Windows Live SkyDrive so you can access them in either the Windows desktop application or its web-based counterpart.

Apple set to remove Home button from iPhone 5 and iPad 2

The introduction of multitouch gestures in the new iOS 4.3 will coincide with the removal of the only physical button present on the front of the iPad and the iPhone, sources close to the matter have told BGR.

The site adds that the iPad will be the first to lose the button and that the iPhone will be the next on the list; it is likely that the iPod Touch will follow suit.

iOS 4.3 Beta released to developers

Apple has seeded the first beta version of iOS 4.3 to developers.

The iOS 4.3 beta is available in versions for iPad, iPhone 4 and 3GS, and third and fourth generation iPod touch, as well as a separate download for the new Apple TV. Consequently, there is some speculation that Apple will no longer be supporting the iPhone 3G and second generation iPod touch with operating system updates.
