iOS and iPadOS

In the usual debates that rage in smart phone accessibility circles, two platforms dominate the discussion, apples iOS and Googles android.
To be sure, they both have their advantages and disadvantages but for me, iOS stands head and shoulders above any other platforms for visually impaired people who use screen readers, voice-over is one of the greatest feats of engineering ever, in my view.
But when it comes to tablets, things are more complicated.

I've tried using the Kindle app to read books before, but I don't seem to have any luck with it.
I much prefer iBooks, because I can see exactly what page I'm on and can swipe to change the page, or multiple pages at once, and I don't have to click on any menus to access the Books controls, it's all done from the same screen.
But a lot of books are in Moby format so I thought I should get to grips with the Kindle app, so does anyone have any advice on how I can use it?

I'm having a really frustrating issue on YouTube when I use my iPad with voice-over, but I don't know if it's just me or if its a general problem.
It's strange because I thought it had been solved for a short time, but it seems to have come back again.
Interestingly, the problem only occurs on my iPad, the iPhone version of the app seems fine so I was wondering if anyone uses an iPad with voice-over who could help me to see if it's just my device or if it's a real problem.

Hi everyone. I’m looking for an accessible multi track recording app for IOS to record songs. Any suggestions?

Firstly, I should say that I’m using the latest version of iOS although this problem has existed in previous versions, with voice-over.
My problem is that when posting to Facebook or reddit, I can go back to edit it by adding more words, but I can’t delete characters or words in the text field.
This makes it quite difficult to use Facebook since I can’t go back and edit out misspellings or incorrect words, which is happening more frequently due to iOS dictation not picking up my words properly.

I remember it was possible to do it in a previous version of iOS from the lock screen, the video url would be listed alongside the track information but that no longer seems to be the case.
Now, when I'm streaming a video and look at the lock screen, I only get information such as the track position, the previous track pause and next track buttons, and a few other things but not the video url, does anyone know how to get it.
I'm using iOS 12.3 with voice-over.

I regularly visit a website which requires me to enter a quotation mark symbol into an edit field.
The website used to do this automatically for me, but now requires me to do it manually.
The symbol I’m looking for looks like this "
I’ve tried a few other quotation mark symbols like these ‘’ and “” but they don’t seem to work.
Basically, I’m looking for a plane quotation Mark rather than single or double, open or closed quotation mark.
Does anyone know where to find it? ‘

Hey guys. I am looking for an app where I can create songs. I like to write songs, but I cannot find an app that I can make instrumentals for them. GarageBand is a possibility, but I cannot play the right notes because it is an on-screen keyboard. Does anyone know of any simple app where you can create songs on your iPhone?

I really love The iBooks app as it allows me to easily read navigate and organise my books. Unfortunately, only supports the PDF and epub format and I'm looking for an app that will be able to read as many formats as possible.
I have tried using the kindle app but it doesn't seem to be very accessible with voice-over.
Please post any suggestions below but before you do, consider that:
The app should have some way of organising books such as a Library

I used to be able to double tap and hold down on a phone number, and voice-over would let me save that number into my contacts list.
However, for me, this no longer works and the phone just called the number and doesn’t allow me to save it, has anyone else noticed this?

Does anyone else have the problem where double tapping the share button in Safari causes it to freeze?
Sometimes, trying to activate the share button doesn’t do anything at all.
This is particularly annoying as I like to read PDF documents on my iPad, before iOS 11 the device would ask me which app I would like to open the document in, but now I have to click the share button and then copy to iBooks.

Hi folks it's carlos, I was wondering how to attach some attachments to emails using the email app. Is there do you have to use the rotor also can the attachments be from anything else the iCloud or only iCloud drive like I know people use dropbox and things like that and I was wondering how that works I have some attachments that are PDFs , Sorry about dictation not working very well. Hello. I am usimg the built in emoji keyboard wich is great but it's really hard to find the one I'm looking for when I have to browse for them it can take minutes. I know blind people that does it in seconds but don't know it myself. Also, what are the numbers after the spoken emoji? I think they are new in iOs 10 or I haven't yet seen it. What are they for? Thanks for any responce.

Does anyone know of an accessible alternative to Evernote? I noticed that the document field is not very accessible and am looking for an app in which I can create note books for different classes. I saw an app called notebooks in the app directory, but it was posted several years ago and it is a paid app.

OK, this might be a little difficult to explain… Originally when I read comments on a post, it would start out with the persons name and comment… Then I would flick right, and it would say the persons name again, then I would flick right again, and it would have the like button… Seems like a week or two ago, I could just flick right, and it would show the person's name and a comment only, then I could flick right each time to hear a different comment, without hearing the person's name or like button in between… I like that way much better, But it's back to the original w

Hello. I have just installed Facebook messenger on my iPhone 5s, and I have a problem. I saw contacts that I don't have on my iPhone and on my Facebook page too. Maybe I had these contacts on my android phone. But I don't know how to delete them. I reinstalled the app but it didn't help. What can I do? I couldn't find anything in the Internet about my problem. I tried to delete imported contacts but it didn't help also if you know how to delete these contacts please answer. thanks. I forgot to say, that iPhone says that these contacts are from my phone.

Have you FaceTimed your contacts and suddenly FaceTime calls the wrong person you don't know? I am running iOs8.4.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good iOS app that's accessible with voice-over to block ads in Safari, I have one called Adgard but can't seem to figure out how to make it work, the video that supposed to explain it is completely visual with no audio commentary.
If anyone knows how to get this particular app to work, please could you let me know as well.

What are some free Twitter apps?

I have noticed that all of the posts related to garage band are much older than the current update, which I think was done around January 19 of this year. Don't hold me to it though. Anyway, I was happy with GarageBand, because I could record Basic things on it. But then when it updated, Icould not really use it anymore. Every time I have tried, it has been a nightmare, everything from not being able to access the alchemy sent sounds, to nothing happening when I double tap on buttons, two flat out crashing when I try to switch from whatever view I am currently in
