Hi there.
I use an iPhone with voice-over and I was getting annoyed that every time I lifted my phone away from my face, it would switch to speakerphone automatically.
I found out the setting which did this, and turned it off but now, every time I click the speakerphone button, it doesn’t seem to work.
I was wondering if there was a gesture to control this.
iOS and iPadOS
Hello, as my subject line clearly states I am searching for an accessible eBay and PayPal fee calculator. I have found one that is accessible but has not been updated in over two years. I checked on this site and could not find an app listed that is anything close to what I'm looking for. When I looked at the App Store they had several for between $.99 and about five dollars. There were also a few free ones listed but their ratings and the details and descriptions led me to believe that they wouldn't be very good.
Hello all! I am searching for an accessible IPTV client for iOS. I need to watch archives and live streams of TV channels, with possibility to paste URL addresses of playlists. I know that there is OTT player in App Store, but it is really badly accessible. If you know any solution please help. It’s better if the app is free, but if it is payed it is not a big issue. Thank you!
Hi there, so the issue I'm having is this.
I recently downloaded a corrupted version of an e-book from the Apple Store, and decided to delete the book and try to re-download it.
When I go into the Books app and into the more actions menu, there is an option to delete books everywhere, which I click and the book disappears, however when I go to re-download the book, the original corrupted version reappears.
I was wondering if there was a way to permanently delete Books from my device and iCloud, so that I can download a new version of the book to read.
I don’t usually use my Google account when browsing YouTube, but I do have a Gmail account, which automatically gives me a YouTube account and channel.
One thing I noticed was that when leaving comments, YouTube would ask me to select my account and then log me in automatically, without asking for my password.
I was wondering if there was a way to get YouTube to ask for my password when logging into my account, as I share my device with others so this could be a privacy concern.
Thanks for any help.
I am a regular user of the audible app, and are usually listen to it on my iPod touch, which is old enough that it can’t update past iOS version 9.3.5. Now, I know the audible app has been updated a lot, and so has not been compatible with this type of iPods for a long time, but until very recently, when I want to download it on the App Store, it let me download an older version. The optional longer exists. If anyone knows a way that I could get this app back on my iPod I would be really grateful. Thank you.
Hello all. I have an iPhone SE and I am very satisfied with it. But my only complaint about this iPhone is That it doesn't support 3D Touch gestures My question is, Is there anyway to imitate them without jailbreaking? Thanks in advance
Hi all,
One of my friends has asked me to post this. He's using GarageBand on the iPad 2 and is trying to export a project, which is about 40MB or less, but his iPad is saying there is not enough free space to export the file. He's double checked the amount of storage on his iPad and there was about 500MB available, and now after clearing some stuff off there's nearly 2GB available, but GB is still saying there's not enough free space to export anything.
With all of the previous versions of iOS , Each time they have came out I was always intrigued with the new features. But with iOS 13 coming out later this year I cannot wait. I am just curious to see what you guys have to say and what you’re looking forward to when it comes out later on this year. b
Hi guys, In iMessage what does it mean when audio messages kept? And how do you listen back to messages that you have kept? Your help with this question would be most welcome kind regards trey.
Hi all. I am a first-time Kindle app user. I have a couple of questions or problems with it. I downloaded the NIV Zondervan study Bible. I was wondering if anyone knew how to access the chapters? I can access the books of the Bible through the table of contents, but cannot figure out a way to easily access the list of chapters for each book. Also, I understand the concept of selecting text via the left and right boundaries. But I am not able to really understand how to expand the boundaries beyond the text that is shown. One more concern.
I have iPhone 6 running iOS 10.2. I just recently updated my Chase mobile app to the latest version which was released on December 7, 2016. I'm using voice over and cannot access the text boxes to input my username and password's. When I double-click on them the keyboard does not appear to allow me to input this information. Is anybody else having this issue? I have contacted Chase accessibility to times to try to address this problem. I was told to install the app after deleting it and this should resolve the problem. I did this and it was on successful!
I opened up my Facebook app today and the first thing in the newsfeed is one of those notice things from Facebook itself. This one was a reminder that registration to vote in my states midterms is coming up soon. It said to share the voter registration link with your friends to help them get registered. For the life of me, I could not interact with this post in any meaningful way no matter what I did. Single finger double tapping it did nothing.
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a dating app that works well with voiceover on the iPhone. I would like to add my profile, post pics, and respond to messages and chat with people within the app. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated, thank you.
Hi, what are some good calendar apps? They can be paid or free. Why do you like your choice? I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks.
I just bought a 12.9 iPad pro for my mother who is visually impaired. What settings and apps would be most helpful? She greatest need is to use the iPad for reading two local newspapers. She also likes CNN, MSNBC.

Hello is there a accessible app that works with voiceover that I can download to make new friends? I’m not looking to date. I am only looking to make new friends. Is there such an app like that? I am looking for an app to make new friends where I can make new friends from my local area or online.
Hi all, does anybody know if there Is a similar service to AudioBoom, A service where you can upload your own audio recordings. Sort of YouTube, but for audio.
This is an issue I have experienced pretty much since day one, when I got my iPhone 4 in 2010, but I thought it was high time to write a post about it. Forgive me if somebody else has already done so. When I am on Safari or in an app where the on screen keyboard is presented for form field entry, If I drag my finger around on the screen, say, to get a better understanding of the form layout, I find that when I return to where the keyboard should be, it has been hidden. The field I was editing still has focus, yet the keyboard vanishes for some reason I don't understand.
Hi there! I know this might seem like a very strange question to pose, but I have a lot of cited friends and family. I was wondering, does anyone know of an app or something that you can install on your phone to beep or to let you know if you are in The viewfinder or the cameras frame before you make a video call on WhatsApp or Messenger or whatever video app you want to use? As I said I know this might seem like a very strange question considering most of us have no vision or have very little vision. I hope I've explained myself properly.
