iOS and iPadOS

In previous versions of the Starbucks app, after your order was complete a dialog box popped up giving you the option to view an order summary. When you go to that screen there were options for no tip, a $.50 tip, a $1 tip or a $2 tip. With the latest version of the app, these tipping options do not appear anywhere. I am not sure if this is a voiceover problem or a general bug. I wrote Starbucks and they just replied with canned instructions on how to place a tip from the app.

Frankly I am at a loss for words at this point. The FedEx website and iOS app are virtually unusable with voiceover. Furthermore, they are just plain designed badly, even buy sighted usability standards. As someone with web development knowledge myself, it’s obvious whoever designed these tools is inexperienced and poorly trained. They took all kinds of shortcuts in creating these tools and broke some very basic UI design guidelines.

Hi im a new user to this forum, and have some questions about navigating webpages using voice-over on Safari.
I like to read long documents and webpages online, and many of these don't have headings, links or other form elements to make navigation easy.
One gesture which I have found useful is the three finger swipe which allows me to move up and down a page, and I was wondering if there was a version of the gesture which would allow me to move multiple pages at a time?

I am a totally blind person who until recently used my Messenger app often.

As you know we all had the ios10 update and since that day I cannot use this app at all as I cannot find my latest messages or know where I shoulld write if starting a new one.

My local store told me the app had been changed but could nut show me what to do as they did not use it often themselves.

It appears with the latest YouTube update for iOS the comment view is broken. I can type my comment using the on screen keyboard but when I slide my finger up to find the text edit box for the comment or the send button, neither are available. Voiceover just makes that clicking sound indicating nothing underneath your finger is capable of receiving focus. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I recently installed the NFB Connect app on my iPhone. But it does not seem to want to open. It asked me if I want to receive notifications, and when I agree, it says that it cannot connect. Try again. Has anybody had the same experience with this app? And is there a more updated app to take its place?

Hi, i'm facing an odd audio streaming issue which I only noticed about two hours ago, and I'm wondering if anyone else is facing the same.
I have an iPad Air running iOS 10.3.3.
Normally, when I stream online content such as a podcast, I can lock the iPad and it will keep playing in the background.

The problem I'm having is this, I like to listen to long audiobooks on YouTube and I use the YouTube track bar seek slider to navigate through them.
No there is a strange issue where after four hours in a video, voice-over will no longer read out the minutes it will just say four hours which is quite frustrating if you want to navigate to a particular place in an audiobook, you can't tell how many minutes you are into the book.
Has anyone else experienced this, and how can I report this to youtube Accessibility?

I recently turn on iCloud Drive for the Books app and all my books were uploaded into the cloud.
I've now decided that I don't much like iCloud drive, so I decided to download my books back onto my device and then turn it off.
Downloading the books back onto the device was simple enough, but when I turned off iCloud drive all my books including the downloaded ones disappeared.
Can anyone explain this strange behaviour.

So tomorrow for work I have to create a zoom meeting.
I was just wondering how to share what's on my iPad screen to all the other participants in the meeting, and wanted to know if there was a way to do this without turning on the video, just audio.
I don't have access to a desktop computer, and I've looked on the zoom website and it seems to be able to do it with just my iPad I just can't find the controls with voice-over.
Any help would be appreciated.

So I just updated to iOS 11 .2, and one thing that I noticed was this:
When I press the power button on the side of my iPad Air, the screen locks as in previous versions, but if I then lift move or shake the device, the screen unlocked itself.
I did some research and it seems to be something called raise to wake feature, which Apple claims is only for the newer model of iPhone, and since this is the case, there is no way to turn it off in the iPad settings.

Hi all. For those of you who have Apple Music, I have a question. I have all of my songs downloaded to my iPhone and my Mac, and iCloud music library turned on. However, it sometimes happens that on my iPhone, I am playing a song that I downloaded, and it's in the midst of the song, when the song suddenly changes to the next track. Basically, the song that was playing previously is not complete or something. However, the odd thing is, that in my Mac, I played the same song that had the problem on my iphone, And nothing happens.

Last night I updated to iOS 11.3 and now text found in images (such as unlabeled buttons in apps for example) is no longer being recognized and read aloud by voiceover. I double checked and I have that setting activated in VoiceOver settings. Is anyone else having these problems?

I am running the public radio player app on an iPhone 6+ under iOS 10. The app play the streams just fine on your iOS 9 but after I upgraded I can no longer get the app to play the streams or the Podcasts. The app indicates that something is loading or buffering but that's as far as it gets which indicates to me that there is probably some type of network connection problem. I have rebooted the phone several times and I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing changes. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about the situation? Thank you!
