iOS and iPadOS

Hey guys.
recently I came across some apple developer article about playing haptic vibrations from a file. It says that you can create a special json formatted file with an extension .ahap. Inside you can code your own great unique vibration patterns. This haptic format is so rich that it can vibrate in different musical notes, make louder or quieter tick tick tick signals and many more.

Have you regretted updating to iOS 15? Did you love the experience? Or was it just OK? I wish there was a pole option here.

Hi everyone. I started using the Now tv app again from Sky so I could listen into Sky sports.

One thing I find really hard is the button labels are really werid and very difficult to try and find the different areas like movies, entertainment etc.

Are there any other apps that would allow me to access the Now tv stuff?

Cheers From Snowy.

Hi, if you are going through an app and you have favorites and you have 30 favorites the TV side says 1 of 30 ETC. How do I get this behavior to work on the phone? on iOS it doesn't say that.

Hi folks,
I have been adding apps to my phone I don't know how to use folders,
so I just kept creating more pages.
When my iPhone got to page 15 it seamed to not add any more pages.
I wasn't sure if I had filled all 15 pages or not also I noticed it added apps on the first and second page where I thought the apple preinstalled apps went.
I spoke to apple and the agent wasn't sure he said the phone had 11 pages then he said 19 pages and sent a follow up request.

Hello, all, I hope this finds everyone doing well. I have a 64GB iPhone 5S on Verizon running the latest iOS software. All of my apps open and work correctly--all other Apple apps included (Pages, Keynote, Find Friends, ETC.) except for Numbers. Every time I open Numbers to create a new spreadsheet, it kicks me right back to my home screen. I've reset the phone multiple times in various ways, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app just as many times. I've done a cold reboot if you will--holding the home and power buttons down for fifteen seconds.

Hey all so I have a question. I signed up for the Oasis app it keeps on telling me to verify my email address, but I never receive Any emails. I checked my inbox, and my junk folders nothing. Is this service dead? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
A few IOS versions back - especially during the IOS 10 period - there used to be that feature where VoiceOver, whilst one would browse the Photos in the Photos app, would attempt to describe some of the picture content. The descriptions were never very detailed, and sometimes they were completely wrong (calling my cat a puppy and what not). But they still were a nice feature to keep track of what might be on the pictures.
Well, I upgraded to IOS 11.3, and none such descriptions are read anymore. And I can‘t find any way of getting them back.

hi :c I was wondering whether anyone could recommend any apps for object recognition? like tap tap see etc thanks you in advance sarah
Post Date:
Well, I went for a walk this morning and discovered a situation which I all along suspected time would reveal. I decided to take some pictures using both TapTapSee and oMoby. Using the highly touted TapTapSee, there were several "timeouts" before I got a rather week answer idendtifying green trees. OMoby indicated green trees and green grass; neither ever saw the house which should have been plainly visible but oMoby gave more detail all around. AS I recall, both Aps are free which may somewhat account for the inability to "Pay" the crowd sufficiently to attract good feedback.

Hello,
I wanted to make a quick observation regarding my brand new iPhone 15 Pro.
The other day, I had to restart it for some reason. When I did, I used the volume up, volume down, power button method. This did not result in the power on and off sounds playing.
In a different instance, I restarted it by turning the phone off and back on, which did play the sounds after I enable them.
Is it normal to have to enable those sounds?
Why wouldn’t they play if you use the volume button method?
Has anyone else made this same observation?

I have been experimenting with Microsoft's Soundscape and thus far, I'm enjoying it immensely. I have been using it in conjunction with Nearby Explorer. I've found Soundscape to be more accurate/precise as we approach an intersection. I'll be standing at the intersection and NE tells me that I'll be at the intersection in 30 feet. Oops. I'll revisit the NE app to see if I can better calibrate it.

hello everyone, each year we have this long list of what we would like to see in the next IOS version, and every year, the wish for voices comes up, such as eloquence. I would like to know, why is it when we all know that apple is not going to put voices like eloquence into voiceover, why is it that some just seem to obsess over that every year. you know that new voices like eloquence are not going to be added, so why obsess over it.

Greetings.

How does one obtain and edit precise font and style information when composing an e-mail message in the native Apple Mail app using VoiceOver?

Thanks.

I have an iPhone 14. Occasionally my 14 will freeze the screen on me when I am either on a regular phone call or a FaceTime call. Sometimes I can get it to unfreeze by locking my device and unlocking it. I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same glitch?

Post Date:

i have severl thigns I'd like to do.
first if I get a bill sometimes it is a pic of the scannd page. can anything read this straight from my email?
second, I have boxes of frozen items I buy. is there anything that can read the barcode to tel me how to cook what it is I baught?
KNFB reader maybe ?
I've never scanned anything in my life with an iPhone so no clue here. I assunme that talking gl goggles or TapTap see wont do what i'm after. Thanks!

As mentioned in the description, the camera's lack of resolution is to put it mildly, a drag. But using something like LookTel money reader gives me hope. I am amazed at how quickly and easily this works when compared to Noogle Noggles, oMoby, and even EyeNote. It's fast and accurate. I haven't found any OCR that even gets close, unless all I want to know is if it's a bill or a credit card come on. It takes a whole lot of inference to get anything useful.

Hey guys–awesome announcement! I've received a lot of messages noting all the different bugs and issues with the current version of Voice. Thanks for finding and reporting them all to me, it makes it a lot easier to correct them and build a better version for you guys. Version 4.1 just went live on the App Store and I just wanted to post some of the really awesome stuff that I added into Voice.

Hello,

I've tried without great success to use OCR apps like Prizmo, but I just realized you can use them without the camera to scan and read .pdf documents. Can't believe it took me so long to figure that out. If you double tap and hold on a pdf document, iOS gives you the option to open it in Prizmo and it's ready to scan.

Anyone have any similar tips for using OCR apps that don't require using the camera?
