Hi,

Hi folks,

I am posting this because of a friend's question to me and I am out of ideas. Here's the situation:

Device, iphone 8 ios 16 (can't recall the actual final software value).
My friend has several folks she texts with who do not have iPhones. therefore she has to use sms messaging which recently seems to have become intermittent in working.
We have looked at her phone and under Imessage the Send as SMS button is on as well as including her phone number in the send and receive section. These ideas were provided by apple accessibility.

Does anyone know if snapchat is accessible with VoiceOver? Some of my favourite celebrities have got it and post videos so i'd like to keep up with them. However i've made an account, that was accessible, however everything else seems inaccessible e.g viewing people's snaps. Can anyone help please?

Is snapchat accessible with voiceover and do you think that there's a reason for a blind person to use it?

Hi,
Feliciano Godoy, Snapchat, Version 9.37.0.0 for iOS has VoiceOver improvements. Although Snapchats were able to be posted with VoiceOver off, now you can post using VoiceOver. What do you find accessible compared to the previous versions?

I try using snapchat on I-phone SE 2020. but till now, I didn't find any fruitful results. I can take snaps, but cannot view the ones other people send to me. I can send messages, but It's hard viewing what other people texted to me. It's tough locating different chats. also, map, stories and spotlight tabs are not accessible. I have tried using screen recognition alongside voiceover, but it did not work well.
Can anyone provide any sollution of it? since snapchat is very important app these days, inavailability of accessibility makes things chalanging.

Has anyone found a way to get the Snapchat app to work? When I open the app voiceover just gives me the blank screen sound but a sighted friend tells me there is a take picture button.
Is there a work around or something to be able to access this button to be able to take a picture?
I tried to tweet Snapchat and SnapchatSupport last week with no response.
Has anyone tried contacting them and gotten a response?
Also, there is the Twitter handles I mentioned above, but I noticed on the Snapchat website there is a place where you can give feedback.

I am posting to say that so far I have found no bugs when using IOS 14. I also I am using Alex. I have heard others say that when they are using enhanced voices that they have seen some delay when swiping on the screen of their devices when using the enhanced voices. I am submitting this post to say that that is not the case for me. Well I cannot speak for everyone that is what I have seen so far when using iOS 14.

That's at least my recent impression.
I tried Freeform on iOS and Mac OS and actually it's useless because of missing accessibility. I'm very disappointed.
Quick Draft works similar but only allows text. If this is enough for your workflow it's really a nice app to take notes on iPhone and the Mac.

At least that's what the email from the CNIB said, but when I went to the app store to download it, they still want $54. Ain't gonna happen. So, why say that it's free when it isn't? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Maybe the app store is behind? I'm feeling really disappointed.

Hey all, I'm looking for fun games to play that are generally thought of as inaccessible. this started when I saw Street Fighter 4. If money wasn't so tight right now I'd b uy that one, and probably will once things settle down. Any other suggestions? (By the way guys and girls, just cuz something is said to be inaccessible doesn't mean it's unplayable by the blind. It just means you can't use it with Voiceover.) So how about it, any thoughts?

So, I just updated to iOS6 yesterday, just in time for my hour long bus ride from work. While playing around in the Notification center, I noticed something pretty cool, at least, I think it is. If you have signed into Facebook and or Twitter in the IPhone settings, you will notice two new buttons sitting in the Notification center. Just below the Weather icon, They are, Post to Twitter, and Post to Facebook. These allow you to post to the respective services without actually opening your particular app for said services. It's a quick way to get the point across, whatever that may be.

Hello all. I can't figure this out. I'm primarily responsible for getting us places, while my relative drives. My question is simple: After putting in an address, clicking directions, and Go, the voice sometimes starts out very soft. I've turned off speech with a three finger double tap, and I've left the screen open. Has anyone experienced this? It's a little frustrating as my relative can't hear the first part, so I have to repeat it. For eample, I want to go to 1236 Maple Lane.

Hello to all,
I recently found an app called SoloLearn. It allows you to learn various codes such as HTML, Python C++, etc. It even supports Swift.
I was interested, so I hit the GET button to download it.
At a first glance, accessibility is well maintained when signing up or logging into a SoloLearn account. I created my account, and that's when accessibility started to drop slightly.
There are several buttons that are labeled, and several that are not. Worst of all, some dialogs contain no back button, so you can't go back to the previous page.

Hi all,
Can someone please help me? Ever since I upgraded to iOS9, I can't seem to swipe right to get to the content I want as easily. For example, I'm in the iTunes store and want to view my wishlist, which is quite long. So, I get through the first 20 songs and tap "Show More." All is working fine so far, but then there comes a point where I can tap "show more" and I'll get the next item, but then it won't let me swipe any further and I see no way to get around this to view the rest of the content. How do I get around this?

Hello apple vis Users, I am an NFL audio pass subscriber, and of course, that means I can listen to any game, on any computer with an internet connection. However, the interface to the NFL audio pass site is flash. As you well know, Apple's safari mobile broser, does not support flash. Is there a way threw an ap or otherwise, to be able to listen to the service on the IPhone?

to stop voiceover’s loosing focus, turn off caption panel. Use two finger quadruple tap for quick settings, then turn caption panel off.

I have a 64GB iPhone SE 2020. More than half that memory is consumed by audio and a bit more by apps and data, leaving typically about 5GB-10GB free. In the past, I have always been able to manage my Music library on my Mac and sync to my iPhone. I did not need a ton of free space because most of the audio hadn't changed.
