iOS and iPadOS

Hey guys,
So I just installed SelfieX on my iPhone 6S, and noticed that the screen looks way different from the podcast Lulu Heartgen (sorry if I mispelled your name) did.
The buttons on the main screen are now clearly read by VoiceOver.
Also, I recall the app being about $0.99 in the U.S. where I live, but now it is completely free with no ads.
The main screen, allows you to now be able to switch cameras, and the menu is there for changing and purchasing voices, as well as other apps, sharing, etc.

Hi all. I updated to iOS 26 yesterday. I've tried to use the SelfiX app to take pictures since then. It's the best app I've found to help me take photos, since I'm totally blind. The app isn't working. Even with the light on, it keeps telling me that it can't see me. Is anyone else having trouble with the app? I'm guessing that it's not gonna work with iOS 26?

Having trouble sending non-accessibility related bug reports to Apple.
I've looked and looked but can't find a link or email address to send a bug report to Apple about iOS issues.

Found lots of accessibility bug reporting topics. The

Web search isn't helpful. Does Apple not want bug reports?

Tried to log into this site but it didn't work.
Login to Apple Bug Reporter
https://idmsa.apple.com/
It appears I need a developer account to report bugs. The help link doesn't help.

Mike May from Sendero presented to the NFB 2012 convention in Dallas, TX today, July 4, 2012. In his presentation, May gave a few details about Sendero's upcoming GPS app for the iPhone: 1. Sendero partnered with the Seeing Eye to create this app. The app will be called "The Seeing Eye." 2. The app will combine all of the turn-by-turn navigation features of mainstream GPS apps and the verbalization features of Sendero's other GPS apps. 3. Sendero will focus on ease of use. 4. The app is currently in beta testing, and they hope to release it sometime later this summer. 5.

Hello, While I was browsing through the app store last night and I heard that it was possible to send and receive faxes through the IPhone, I began to think that this would be exactly what I'd need. Lately, I've been running into situations where paperwork needed to be faxed. For example, I needed my medical records, I needed to fax some stuff to a school, and I need to fax in an application once I'm done with it. Most of these documents are on my computer, but I don't own a fax machine.

Hi all,
So I've been using Clubhouse for a few days now, and I do have a couple of feedback/suggestions/feature requests for Clubhouse (including suggestions to fix some accessibility glitches I've encountered). Where do I send them?
Many thanks

Hi all,

Is there a way to send the same text message to multiple contacts using the native contacts app, and if not is there another easy to use app that I can do this in?

Thanks.

Hi, I use a BrailleNote Apex with a bt keyboard. I can send a message in the Skype app by pressing the advanced and next keys, but don't know how to do it on the touchscreen. How do I send the instant message using the touchscreen on the iPhone? If I press return, I get a new line. Thanks.

I've ben enjoying the changes for braille screen input in IOS 18. mostly because for me its usually faster than typing on the querty keybord. I wonder if theirs a way to send a text message without exiting braille screen input. The only way I know of is to type the message in braille screen input, then exit braille screen input to find the send button. This isn't much of a problam, unless I'm sending multiple messages, because I then have to go back in to braille screen input, type the next message, and then exit braille screen input to find the send button again.

Hi, every time I try to send someone a text message and they don't have an iPhone and I'm using Siri to do this. After I compose the message and send it, it says message failed. I think the phone thinks that they have an iPhone and they really don't. I'm running the latest version of iOS. It's also happening to my friend who's running the version of iOS before this one.

Hi,

I'm planning to message a large number of friends. Is it possible to send a text message to more than 20 people in IOS9?

Thanks,

I upgraded to iOS 16.0.2 over the weekend, and now when I send texts using siri I get asked if I want to change or send the text but there's no confirmation that the text was actually sent aside from a small noise that my phone makes. Is it still possible to get a verbal confirmation that the text was sent and if so what changes do I need to make? Btw my phone is an SE 2020.

Hi folks,

The subject says it all.
How can I either forward or send a voice note or .mp3 file to a braudcast list in whatsapp?

Thanks,

I have just gotten a Sensi smart thermostat. I really like it and have so far found the app to be completely VO friendly. However, I have been using the thermostat for about 24 hours and, during that time, it has twice changed the set temperature on its own. This should not have happened because I have not set up any schedules. I know that there are some people on Applevis with Sensi thermostats. Have any of you experienced this and do you know how to fix it? I'm sure there is something in the app I am missing but I can't figure out what it might be.

After working with iOS7 on my iPhone 4s for a bit, it seems like the sensitivity of the touch screen has changed and become very sensitive. The device seems to be catching extraneous gestures such as a touch or swipe when I didn't even touch the screen. This is easy to tell with VoiceOver running since VoiceOver makes a clicking sound when a touch or gesture is made.
