Hi Guys, was wondering if anyone knows the answer to the following question. When you set up sleep focus you can choose people who can still phone you during that time period. At the same time you can also choose apps that can notify you during the period. The weird thing is in the apps options the phone app shows up. So, the question is if you select the phone app does that override the people you choose? I.E all calls will come through. If so what is the point of the phone app being an option to choose? Or do the two things work differently and if so how. Confused lol.

I use to sleep with a sound in my ear, I use my airpods together with a ambient sound, along with my everyday stress this is how I manage my sleep to recover my daytime stress,
What are you guys using for those who with me that has sound while they are sleeping, what are you using?
I preferred an ap with an alarm and timer to handle my sound while I'm sleep.
any recommendation are very much appreciated!

Hi, I am now downloading sleep cycle smart alarm clock after trying other sleep tracking apps. I didn't want to use sleep cycle based on there yearly price but I find based on the applevis review and the audio walkthrough that it is more accessible than other apps of this nature. My thing is have people found other apps of this nature to be accessible or do many of you just use sleep cycle smart alarm clock? I am so frustrated that accessibility is on the back burner for apps like sleep pillo and sleep better.

I have an iPhone 7. Sometimes when I get a phone call Alex tells me to slide to open. I don't understand what I am supposed to be sliding. The two finger double tap doesn't work, and I wind up missing the call. Does anybody know what this is? It might have something to do with face time, but I'm not sure about that. thanks

I was perusing VoiceOver options tonight and noticed there was a slide to type roter option so I gave it a shot. This seems like a promising way to speed up my typing on the iPhone, but there's one annoyance -- once you find the first letter of the word you want to type, you must press and hold for a moment before it lets you start sliding to type the rest of the word. I didn't find any way of adjusting this delay and it feels clunky to me. Does anyone have tips or tricks for effectively using slide to type with VoiceOver?

Does anyone know of a slideshow app that can add my own audio to it? It has to be accessible though. I have no vission at all and I am used to accessible parts of apps that still can be used. I would love to get some help with this.

Hi everyone.
So, I'm having this problem when editing and creating documents on both my iPhone and iPad. When the document has more than 1 page, VoiceOver describes each page of the document in separate text fields. This is quite annoying, as I can't jump through the document particularly easily and VO focus also jumps around a lot like this.
I've tried this in multiple different word processors, including: MS-word, google docs, and pages.
Any help to get the entire document into one text field for easier navigation would be appreciated.

Maybe someone has an tip or idea to help me.
After updating to IOS 13.2, I’m experience slow response from Voiceover when typing directly or via the built in Braille keyboard of IOS.
I also noticed slow response from Voiceover when moving through certain elements in Web pages like buttons.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
I’m using an IPhone 8 with the latest IOS installed.

On mynew iPhone SE with iOS 15.o.2 I have had intermittent very very sluggish VoiceOver two or three times in the last week even powering the phone off and restarting did not solve it a hard reset did not solve it but within about a minute everything seem to be working OK
Anybody else experienced this problem?

In IOS 13, I occasionally encounter a lot of sluggishness upon opening the mail app and just after exiting the app. Does anyone know if this is a IOS issue or something specific to Voice Over? I don't suppose it really matters, as the impact is the same for me either way, but I'm just curious. It could be that IOS 13 pushes the capabilities of my iPhone 6s but I don't have this problem in any other app.

Hi all,
I had a small issue whilst installing IOS 6 and I just thought I’d let you know about it for those who are yet to install it and may come across it. Fortunately a friend of mine helped to solve it for me; I wouldn’t have thought of it myself.
So IOS 6 had finished downloading, and I happened to be standing right there when VO came back on.

How is it with the accessibility in Smart life now? I read in a post that the app is not available with Voiceover but the post about it was posted in 2022 so I was wondering if it has improved. I am going to buy an automatic feeder for my cat and it is controlled with smart life. But I can't buy it if the app is not accessible with Voiceover.

While going down the list of articles, after about 20 or so of them, the app jumps back to the top and gives the message that headlines have been refreshed. Now, I have to scroll down past what I had seen before. Very frustrating. Also, after quite a number of articles, my iPhone 14 pro reacts very slowly. Anyone else have or had these issues? Any suggestions to resolve them? Thanks.

I am trying to figure out what has changed with a SmartNews app. I could no longer get it to provide me the headlines for the news in a format where I can just click through and read one line description of each article and then the ones I want double click into those and read the whole article now it just gives me options for like each news provider such as CNN, Fox News, CBS, ESPN so forth With no article description whatsoever anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it

Hello everybody! I'm going to finish the renovation in my new apartment, so I'm looking for new home appliances.
I already use the Samsung Smarthings app to control the air conditioner in my precedent house; I find it useful and accessible, but with some problems.
Is there someone who is using smartings app in order to control the washing machine or other home appliances who can give me his/her opinion about the accessibility level of the app with this type of use?
