I got my new iPad today. When I set it up I chose to restore from my iCloud back up on my iPhone 6. I thought I did the set up right, but something is not right. All of my apps are on my iPad, but they are not in there folders like they are on my iPhone. Also nun of my contacts are on my iPad like they are on my iPhone. What did I do wrong, and how can I fix it? Any help with this will be very much appreciated! Thank you.

I followed the steps to create filters for Parcel for my Gmail accounts, but something clearly is not right. I am not getting things filtered even though I followed the directions on Parcel's website. What could I have done wrong in my Gmail account, and how do I get the filtering to start working correctly?

Folks, here is how you set up Gmail via Microsoft Exchange. First, go to settings, mail; contacts; calendar, add new account under mail, double tap Microsoft Exchange Account, and enter the settings below.
E-mail: your Gmail address, such as [email protected].
Username: same as e-mail, such as [email protected]
Password: Your Gmail password.
Domain: optional.
Server: m.google.com.

Hi all,
There's been a bit of a pattern to my posts in the last week. They've all been about battery drain on my iPhone 8, which I've experienced ever since updating. I went from 12.4.1 to 13.1, to 13.1.1 (which was supposed to fix it), to 13.1.2 and there's been no significant change. I've turned off battery optimisation, shared battery analytics with Apple Support which revealed nothing amiss, recovered the IOS with iTunes, and done all sorts of resets and restores, except setting up as new.

I just got an iphone Se last weekend. I've had an ipad mini 4 for a little over a year. Today when I opened messages on my ipad, I got an alert asking if I want to receive my iphone messages on my ipad and it gave me the option to turn it on now or set up later in my messages settings on my phone. I chose not to turn it on, but I was wondering what this means. Does this mean that a message I send from my iphone will also be sent and received on my ipad or is it device specific, meaning messages I send from my phone will not get delivered to my ipad and vice versa?

Hi! I'm trying to set Voice Dream as the default app for opening ePub files but I'm unable to do so, since they will be opened with Books instead.
How can I do that? I remember before uninstalling VD it used to work.

So only just discovered how to adjust and decrease the volume of VoiceOver on the router. Trouble is when I decrease it, say for example to 30 percent and leave voice over on its fine, but when I toggle voice over off and switch it back on the v o volume is automatically back on 75 percent. How do I get it to stay on what I set it to?

Hi all,
I have upgraded my wife's iPhone 14 pro max to IOS 17. I am not sure what happened in the language settings but now, voiceover speaks in a language other than English when entering the pass code of the phone. E.G., zero sounds like "bp".
The same thing happens when entering digits. The correct English digits are entered.
Where do I go to fix this?

Hi,
I have noticed settings being turned off randomly in my phone since I installed iOS 7.1. These include caller id, auto-correct being spoken and I am sure there was a third setting, but I can't remember what that was. Do I have to restore from iCloud to stop this?

I switched back to iPhone about a year ago because there was a lot I missed from it But I can’t get out of my head. How much better my experience was with Google speech recognition
What is going on, is there anything I can do to make this better. It’s not the worst in the world but 50% of the time I need to go back and change things around. When with Google‘s voice typing, I found I so rarely had to do this.

Trying to contact Meta Support is an absolute dead end. You have this dumb bot that just performs some primitive keyword search based on your query and spits out a bunch of help articles it thinks match your message. No integration with LLaMA whatsoever, let alone an actual human support team to get in touch with.
