iOS and iPadOS

I am using the latest version of iOS 15 on my iPhone XR.

I was trying to play a voice mail mesage on the speaker but couldn't find any way of turning on the speaker. When I hold the phone to my ear the audio is often very quiet and, unfortunately, when I hold the phone away from my ear it doesn't switch to speaker mode as when making or receiving a phone call. Thus not only is the message hard to ear, but it is difficult to share and have someone else listen at the same time.

Solved the issue. I had notes from IOS8 that seemed to be causing some problems when I upgraded to IOS9. Deleting the old notes fixed the issue I was having below:

Hi, I've just upgraded to IOS9 and had to install Itunes 12. I was using Itunes 11 before. I'm using Windows 7 and Outlook 2013 with JAWS.

whenever I do a sync with my Iphone, I get the error saying Itunes couldn't sync notes as the Iphone disconnected.
It appears as if notes are being synced from the Iphone to Outlook but not the other way around.

I just noticed something. When I perform a gesture that is undefined, my iPhone makes a ping sound. It happens more after I reset all the gestures, getting rid of some of the ones I defined.
I think this may have started after I updated to one of the 17.X versions of iOS. Did I just never notice this, and it's been that way for ages?

There is only one symptom of this: when I start Be My Eyes, it makes the usual iOS app start-up "ding" sound, then in a tiny fraction of a second, practically immediately, I am back on my home screen from where I started the app and nothing happens. No message whatsoever, absolutely nothing.

This behaviour is constant since the upgrade. Closing and reopening
the app, restarting the phone, and even uninstalling and reinstalling
the app doesn't help.

Yeah, the title just about says it. How do y'all deal with captchas that appear while signing up to certain services via an app?

As technical writing is not my forte, I would be curious to hear other people's thoughts on some feedback I intend submitting to Apple, in some hope they will consider implementing it at some stage. It is in relation to getting the hang of, and successfully mastering face ID. I've been thinking about how KNFB reader gives you haptic feedback when your camera is in a good position to start scanning a document. I also thought about the iOS camera app, and how it tells you how many faces it can see before we take a picture.

I don't know if I am the only one facing these challenges with their iPhone with VoiceOver or it's just me. I upgraded to an iPhone SE 2020 from my SE 2016 also know as the first edition SE.

Since updating to '15' neither of my chiming apps work, i.e. Chimes and Westminster Chimes.
I understand that is because their developers haven't updated them so my question is are there any similar alternatives for IOS 15?
Thank you for any help and advice.

Someone posted a topic about Tap Tap See in iOS 8.3, but it looks like other apps that make use of the camera and to some degree the microphone aren't working either. It looks like Cam Find, and Be My Eyes no longer work after upgrading to iOS 8.3. When using Tap Tap see and Cam Find, my room mate receives the message saying that the image could not be sent. Also, when using Be My Eyes, we could hear the person on the phone but they couldn't hear us at all. Under settings, Be My Eyes is set to access the microphone and the camera, so something's quite definitely wrong.

iPhone 4S on iOS 7, some of my apps won't update. When I click the update thing, it just opens the app. Most are games I can do without but one is Audio Note which I rely on a lot. Audio Note says some features won't work unless I install the new iOS which I do not want. Still too buggy for me and some of the bugs others have reported, are things I would not want to deal with.

Hi guys,
So I have an iPad Mini running iOS 9.3.1. The thing I'm experiencing though, is audio fading out unexpectedly. I was playing Stem Stumper, and all of a sudden the audio faded out. I have to close the app and reopen it. This also happens to other apps too.
Another bug is when I try to navigate, sometimes VoiceOver still jumps me to the status bar even when they said this bug was fixed. So are these bugs just happening to me or all of you? Thanks.

Also, I have calendars turned on in iCloud as well as in all my email accounts on both my iPhone 6 and my iPhone 4s. I subscribed to some calendars on my 6 and they will not synk to my 4s. Why?

I was just wondering. why don't they put a switch to toggle cellular data on and off like they do with Wi-Fi and others in the control center? It was just a thought.

A friend sent this to me today. Maybe we can talk about what apps need some consideration for deletion.

Hello all. I'm using the new garage band 11 and although it works I cannot figure out how to insert the vst effects I have. I checked editors and nothing. I want to also change the tempo of the click track but cannot figure out how to do it. A friend who used gb know where it was but either voice over won't see it, or I just don't know how to use it as of yet.

Take care.

Anyway I found some instructions on how to do this but cannot figure out how to do this with voice over. here they are to the best of my ability.

Hello all,
I've posted a question concerning the YouGiG app before on this forum and I guess nobody knew the answer but can anyone help please with an answer to this question please?

Hello,
I have noticed some improvements with iOS 9, although they are minor ones. The snooze counter is read by VoiceOver, which is a useful feature if one wants to know how much time is left. Although iTunes store is sluggish on iPhone 5 with iOS 9, at least you can flick to the right while a song is playing. This was a bug in iOS 8.

I don't know exactly what version of iTunes I have as Jaws doesn't read the about box to me. Anyway, I'm updating my phone over wifi instead of updating itunes.

It's done.

First thing I noticed was the unlock screen didn't show the numbers, only letters. Maybe I bumped something. Got the numbers after putting in the wrong pass code.

Next thing I notice is the Samantha voice is faster and harsher. Need to switch voices again.
