For about a month, I have had a problem with Siri repeating a message twice when she asks me to confirm the message in question.
I could for example call Siri by:
"Send SMS to John Doe, Testing testing."
And her reply will be:
"Your message to John Doe is Testing testing. Your message to John Doe is Testing testing. Do you want me to send it?"
The repeating of the messages can become an issue if the messages are quite long, and especially if I'm in a hurry.

I just bought a pay as you go plan from T-Mobile this past Friday, and on the way home I tried to have siri turn voiceover on because I had turned it off in the store so the phone would be easier for the store employees to use, then this afternoon I took the phone on a short outing and tried to get siri to open a few aps and on both occasions siri told me that she was having trouble with the connection and to try again later.

Hi. I have an ipad with the latest version of Ios. on it. Sometimes, I ask Siri to play a certain song by an artist. Normally she'd ablidge and play just that 1 song. But today, I asked her to play a song by an artist that I had album(s( from. Instead of just playing that 1 song, Siri played all the songs from the album along with that song I asked for!
Why is it doing this? I looked for a setting to make her stop, but I found none. Is there a setting to make her go back to playing just the song I asked her to play?

My wife is using anIphone 7+. Siri is no longer working. She is using Ios 13.4.1. When she asks Siri to open any app, she gets "something went wrong". She has shutdown and restarted several times. Sometimes this fixes the problem, but it only helps temporarily or not at all.
Any suggestions will be welcome. I have checked the settings in Siri but there doesn't seem to be any thing to change or reset.

For some reason when I go in to contacts to set my relationship status on a contact when I tell siri to text my girlfriend even after I set the relationship status in contacts it still acts like it doesn't know who my girlfriend is why is that happening and is there a way to fix that?

How do ou get Siri to put a period in a text message? I can get it to put in the question mark, comma, exclamation point, but not the period. Also, how to you get Siri to put in an email address in a message? I am using an iPhone 7 with the latest version of IOS 10.

Ever since the last iOS update, Siri randomly stops working. When I press and hold the Home button, there is no sound indicating that she’s activated and she won’t respond to my commands. I have some functional vision, so it looks like the little round icon thing appears, but there is no visual indication either that any sound is being processed.
Anyone else having this issue and is there a workaround?

Using IOS 16 and voiceover. If I ask Siri for todays baseball schedule and want to scroll through them one at a time, instead of Siri reading them all, I can no longer go from one game to another using a one finger swipe left or right gesture.

I have an iPhone 6 and just recently my Siri has started saying before asking for the next step, such as you say “send a text” before asking who you want to send it to she says “sorry there was a problem with the App” - If anyone knows how to fix this issue please comment. Thank you!

Hi all. i have an iPhone8+ and a strange issue. When I have my BARD app open, I mute sounds and turn off speech as to eliminate notifications. Anyway all of a sudden I hear this phrase, Siri search. It happens when I press home as it to get to the messages. If I swipe left, it says search field, but when i double tap nothing happens. I then see dictate, the messages, calendar, blah blah. so is there a way of getting rid of it? It makes me nuts. Thanks for any help. Oh and the version is 13.5

I use Siri shortcuts for mostly music. I have multiple stations with in either Tunein or Pandora. When I play a Tunein station with Siri and give it the phrase, it plays it. However, when I play another Tunein station that I gave another phrase too, it plays the station that I just played instead of what station I want it to play. I'm running the latest version of iOS. Help, please!

About this time last Year, Thomas Donville produced some excellent podcasts about SIRI Shortcuts. I listened, became enthralled and, as a programmer forced to retire through sight loss, got a new, fantastic lease of life. Since then, I have written over 200 shortcuts and, although challenging, I have enjoyed it. The effort involved, as I am totally blind, has been tremendous and I have worked many 20-hour days. However, since IOS 13 came out, shortcuts, for me, is broken! There are lots of bugs in the app with Voice Over not reading page elements.

What Siri shortcuts are available for use witht the Voice Dream Reader app? Also, is it possible to create custom shortcuts for performing functions within the app?

Hi Everybody,
Just starting to look at iOS12 and WatchOS5 and something which might be useful for Weather Gods is Siri Shortcuts.
These are new to iOS12 and allow a developer to let Siri know about a shortcut.
For example, if you checked the weather every day at 7 am for New York using Weather Gods then we would let Siri know about this. Eventually or maybe quite quickly, Siri will start to suggest this as a shortcut and this would appear on the lock screen at 7 am or on the Siri watch face.

I have a wired headphone connected to my iPhone, and voiceover is speaking through the headphones, as expected. But, siri is using the iPhone speaker. Siri used to follow voiceover to the headphones, but seems stuck on speaker now. How to set her free? Any ideas?

Since update to iOS 14.5 from 13.4, Siri most of the time stops answering mid sentence. I often use Siri to calculate numbers and after the first number it stops. I even changed from American English to British English to see if that would make a difference, but nothing works. I have great connection when I tried it so it's not a matter of wireless connectivity.
Also searched the forum but found nothing relevant for iOS 14
Any help?

I have encountered what appears to be a bug when activating Seri. Occasionally, when I hold down the home button to activate, Seri will start and immediately end. I am using an iPhone 6 running IOS 8.0.2.
The only way I found to fix the bug was to reboot my iPhone.
Has anyone else experienced this?
