For the passed few years now, Microsoft Edge on the iPhone has had this really strange problem, where voiceover refueses to read the names of open tabs.
What makes this issue so bizarre, is the fact that it is an iphone exclusive.
This issue does not present itself on my ipad.
Has anyone else seen this & found a workaround?
I love edge but may have to switch browsers once & for all, if this issue remains.
I've reported it to Microsoft via the feedback form they have, but did not receive a response.

Hi all, I've recently started experiencing a very strange Outlook issue on my SE2020 running the latest Outlook and also IOS14.8. In a nutshell, my email notifications disappeared! I got notifications of calendar events when they were about to start but no notifications for new emails. There was nothing wrong with my work's exchange server because new emails still came through on my laptop, but Outlook only updated when I opened the app and was focused on it.

I have been experiencing some strange notification behavior and wanted to know if anyone else has had any of the below issues.
Firstly, if I am in an app for extended periods such as bard or youtube, all of my notifications start piling up and come in at once after I swipe to go home.
In fact, I can't even get to the home screen until they have all been dismissed. Sometimes,, it even takes multiple swipes for them to finish coming in.

Kindle used to say the word "image" at the beginning of chapters in some books. With the latest IOS update, it now says something like "cred IOS accessibility." It gets annoying after a while. Is there a way to stop it? Is this an Apple thing or an Amazon thing? Thanks.

Hi all so I just upgraded from an IPhone 6 to and IPhone 11. I know, a much needed upgrade haha. I got about 4 and a half years of use out of my 6 until it was time to upgrade. Anyway, I have a strange issue that I can't seem to figure out.
When I am typing a text message I can't double tap on the delete key and hold it down and have it delete my words. If I double tap and hold, it does nothing. I have to manually tap it for every letter I want to remove.

I am reading a purchased book. I amtrying to read a page but for some reason it does not show properly. I know it is text because I can read it sometimes, but for some reason I cannot read it. I read the first pages of the book and there are no graphrics in the chapter. So I try to keep reading but it's like the page is not there.

Does anyone know how to stop VO from saying toolbars? I'm sure there is a setting but for the life of me can't find it. I know it can be done because I turned it off on my personal phone. My new work phone in apps says toolbars quite often and it gets on my nerves. Searched Google and on this site but nothing. Could have swarn it was on here I learnt how to do this but if so it's vanished. Any help appreciated.

Hello am writing to explain a situation that a friend of mine is caught in. They are thinking of getting one of the new IPhones, but are currently running the IOS 9.1 "Public" beta. They want to know, since the new IPhone will be running IOS 9, what would happen if they tried to restore tfrom an Icloud backup, and that new device would not enrolled in the public beta program?

Hi. I have a strange bug with the spotify ios app.
Since a few days, I can't see the track list of albums. There are only the buttons to bring up the context menu of each song. To play a song, i have to turn VO off, tap somewhere on the screen in hopes of actually playing a song.
I contacted spotify support and they said that the album shows normal to them. I am supposed to contact apple about this.
Anyone knows how to do that? Does anyone maybe have a solution to this?

I bought a new phone and love it. It is an iPhone SE 2020.
Sometimes, I don't know why, it does a swishing noice. What is that? Oh and love the VoiceOver haptics.

A friend and I were helping someone with her IPhone6 yesterday and we were in the KNFB reader app. The phone would periodically make a swooshing sound as if it were sighing. This would come out of no where through the speaker. Does anyone know why this strange noise is happening?

I got my new iphone8 on Friday and it's really cool. I just noticed something strange which i don't know whether it's a problem or just a normal thing.
you know when you toggle the mute switch button on and off, when it's muted you should feel a vibration. sometimes when the screen is locked, It doesn't vibrate, but I think it mutes the sound, then it vibrates when i unlock the screen. I personally don't think it's a hardware issue as it's working very well when the screen is unlocked. has anyone encountered such an issue?

In iOs fifteen I know there is a feature that says what I point the camera to to make VO tell me what it is.
On my friend Anastasia's phone it works but mine keeps saying screenshot.

Iām hoping someone could help me with this. Recently in the last few days when I opened the Twitter app and try to read my timeline voice-over reads tweets in a very strange way. I have tried it on multiple devices and Iām having the same problem, however it seems like other people that I have spoken to do not have that issue, so I wonder if there is a setting I need to change somewhere. below is the example of how voice-over reads every tweets no matter in which section of the app Iām in.

Hi. Sometimes on my 4S running IOS 6. voice-over ddisappears. It remains, however, available during phone calls. So, if I call my iPhone from my land line, I can use voice-over during the call, to turn other apps on/off, to check and modify settings, etc. Sometimes, voice-over has been turned off and/or triple click home has been turned off in accessibility settings, but not always. When I hang up the call, I again lose voice-over. I also lose any sound-producing apps I've initiated during the call. Sometimes, rebooting fixes the problem, but not always.

hi. I just noticed this today, so don't know if it's been happening for a while and I haven't noticed. Voice over seems to be reading a paragraph twice. I actually thought I had written it twice in my latest blog post. When I went in to edit though, The paragraph was only there once. Also if I read the blog post on the mac with mars edit, or safari, it reads correctly. I was looking at other blog posts on google with the iphone, and they were showing the same behaviour. Is there a problem with word press and voice over?

I did not see this when I had my iPhone XSMax, but now that I have a 14 Pro Max, the top left of the screen says "Dynamic Island". Supposedly you can activate or expand whatever this is, but doing so does nothing. What is this, and why is it there? Thank you.
