Hi all. I recently signed up for a premium account with The Old Reader. I like how it lets me get text RSS feeds, podcasts, and YouTube videos all in one place. I'm trying to find a good app for it though. Right now, I'm using Lire, and I haven't been able to figure out if it will let you play podcasts at all. So I guess I have a couple questions. Can you manage Podcasts at all with Lire? Is it easy to do, and if so, how do you do it? If not, is there a good app for seeing text RSS feeds and podcasts in one place that works with The Old Reader? Thanks.

Is there a shortcut that can trigger this function in images other than screenshots?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good night sky, and moon phases app?
Something with pretty high contrast? I enjoy taking photos of the sky when I have enough to see.
Although having some form of app would be pretty nice also.

I'd like some help with knowing which is the best scanning app out there now, or which 2 or 3 are good right now. I downloaded prizmo because I heard and read that it was a good app and spent ten dollars on it, but even with sighted help cannot seem to get it to work right. I read on the app store that there is an app called SmartScan+OCR which includes a feature that detects the edges of the page and corrects the scann.

Looking at the jump from X to blue sky, not because I'm particularly political but because it would seem those I follow are, and need to work out how it all works.
I had a look and, like threads, it seems every post is made up of several elements, the poster, the post itself, the time, like button, reply button, etc which is just a bit of a pig to navigate. Despite everything, the unified posts on X are great for us, just a shame the client on mac is horrific, and spring is flaky... Oh, and all the people I follow have jumped ship.

I will be starting to teach ESL as a volunteer. I am blind and would like to know how I can use to point out objects in a picture and teach my beginner learner the English words for them. Also I would like to be able to read a page from a book right when I am teaching him/her. I have the KNFB Reader , Prizmo Go and Seeing AI apps.
I would love to hear suggestions from you on what apps might be appropriate for me and how I could use them to teach English.
Also, I will be using my MacBook. Any suggestions for apps on the Mac are welcome too.

So, I wanted to know if any of you have any tips when it comes to dealing with combination locks, specifically the combination locks found in some backpacks, or some suitcases. Mainly, I’m wondering if you guys have found of any way to Read the tumblers via an app, such as Seeing AI?

Hi everyone, some of you may already know that in iOS 5 there is a voice over label feature. Whenever there is an unlabeled button in an app, you simply double tap with 2 fingers and hold after the second tap, which then makes a sound and brings up the keyboard, allowing you to write down what you want the button to say. This is also useful for labeling photos. So anyone encounters a great app with unlabeled buttons, if others could post what those are, that would be very helpfull for everyone, because we could all make those specific apps a little more accessible.

Hello. I am running iOS 16 on my iPhone 12, and I like the old series sounds much better than the new ones. Is there anyway to get the older ones back, the ones that were on iOS 6 to iOS 15?

One of the most annoying things which i face currently on iOs, is strugle with edit boxes.
I wonder, if any of you, have any ways or tricks to close the edit box on iOs? i tryed many random jestures, though none of them worked.

This does not work properly at the best of times and mostly just switches back and forth between the ear peace and the speaker. The question is what it says. I've clipped the audio, I've converted it to m4r and saved it in the files app. Is there anyway to get the iPhone to recognize it without iTunes or garage band, neither of which I have? I have a windows PC so can't airdrop.

I've got a back double tap set to move through ducking modes. voiceover already tells me the mode has switched, I don't need to know a double back tap has been activated, I'm just not sure how to turn the notification off... Can I?

I was wondering if anyone else is having Bard issues? The Bard app says connection in progress but eventually times out with an error “Connection lost.” Then trying to access their website, Bard main page, it does not come up.

I'm using safari with voiceover on the latest version of IOS, and am coming across what seems to be a bug when looking at my tabs list. Sometimes a double tap will close a tab instead of selecting it, even when I've flicked up and down to make sure it's on activate instead of close. It doesn't seem to be consistant, sometimes it works perfectly but seems more often not.
Does this happen to anyone else? Is there something I'm not doing that I should be? It's slightly frustrating when it does happen!

I was pretty excited to try Point and Speak on things like microwaves, or even a line of text on a paper. I just can't figure out how to do it. I point, but it just seems to read random stuff.
Is anyone successfully using this?
