iOS and iPadOS

Greetings!

Is their any guide available for affectively using iMovie on iPhone?
I am finding it hard to perform editing functions including cutting a clip from the video, joining different clips together, adding background music and putting text into the video.
Since iMovie is from Apple, I assumed it to be fully accessible, but so far, I am having tough luck learning how to use it.
Any help will be appreciated.
Best regards.

Hi folks!

I just got my iPhone 13 Mini, and I will unbox it tomorrow as I purchase some accessories. But a lingering question still hovers around my mind: how can a completely blind person with no vision like me use face ID?

As a context, I'm upgrading from the 1st generation iPhone SE, which has touch ID. That 5-year-old phone is showing problems with battery, as well as the general age of the A9 chip -- I'm looking forward to features like live text on the new A15 chip.

Hello apple Vis,
I'm trying to think of a few different ways to catalog a few different collections.
Mainly stamps, coins, and music.
Ideally iTunes could be used to catalog music CD, but as for vinyl records and so on. I don't know.
I Just wondered. I've heard of some software out there to do the cataloging for you, but how accessible it is I have no idea.
More often than not I'm going off of memory on my collections. Whether that's my coins, or my stamps.

As what I know of, magic cleaner is no longer available. Has anyone found another accessible storage cleaner for iPhone/iPad? I was curious to find anything, but have not found any storage cleaner. Thank you for all of the recommendations!

Hello,
Does any one know of a language learning app for either Korean or German that is accessible with VoiceOver on iOS? I was using Duolingo, but the latest update seemed to broke accessibility, (not that it was perfect to begin with.)
Thanks in advance,
Santiago

Was curious to know whether anyone else is struggling with the LinkedIn app lately. The scrolling on profiles seems to have gone a bit strange and I no longer seem to be able to find a way to view a person's recommendations, endorsements or skills. Maybe I'm missing something.
Good wishes to everyone :)

So, considering buying a new power bank because the one I have, 20000 amps, yeah it’s one of the accessible ones is, on the fritz. I’m looking to buy a MagSafe power bank, and yes, I already have the Apple power bank. Which is really good, the only downside beeing it doesn’t really last that long or have enough charge to charge the device for more than once. So, is there a magsafe powerbank out there that is at-least 10000 or 20000 amps but that has the capability of beeing able to check the percentage from the iphone's battery widgit, much like apple's powerbank?

Does anyone in this group have experience with the moodle course management system while using voice over? That is what I will be using when I start college this fall, an any help is appreciated.

Hi all,

I haven't upgraded to iOS 26 yet because of what sounded like severe voiceover bugs when it was first released a few months ago. Have most of the bugs been fixed now? Btw I have an iPhone 16E if that matters at all.

Also, a friend who has upgraded told me that some things are in different places now but he wasn't specific, how can I find out about these changes?

Thanks.

Back in July there was a post on here regarding an application called Tappy guide, I would like to test it out but there is one problem.
New York State is not listed when picking a state when registering to create an account, I unfortunately couldn’t find the developers contact and I don’t know what else to do.
Please help

so I have been looking on google for even more 3rd-party speech synths.
All I can find are apps that you input text to and it reads it back or web results on how to change voices in settings which I of course already know how to do.
If you guys know of any more 3rd party speech synths besides eSpeak, please let me know.

Hello.
I am looking for an app where I can paste things and get them read, becausee I am writing a book.
I use Capti wich is great, but are there other, simple applications? I know I can just read the document but I think that it’s easier if there is a bit of flow to it.
Capti is great, just want to try something new.
Note: I don’t have a computer.

I'm a somewhat new iPhone user and just switched to it as my primary device. I'm looking for apps that might help me with managing or creating a better routine for myself since I have horrible time management and executive functioning skills and was curious if anyone here had similar experiences and could share some ideas. I know visual schedules can be helpful for autistic people, and I've seen apps like those recommended in articles about autism, but I figured they're probably not accessible.

Hello. I've been searching the entire site for a podcast on GarageBand for botH iOS and Mac. Unfortunately no podcast appears in the search results. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi friends,
I would like to throw musical ideas at my iPhone, when no musical instruments is available. I would gladly use just press record, but my ability to sing polyphonic lines is limited LOL.
I was hoping GarageBand would do the job, but it seems very complicated and only partly accessible. I don’t know if things have changed recently. Someone was saying he would do a podcast on GarageBand, is it still on his schedule ? Or, Do you have anything else to recommend?

Hi all,
I am looking for a good and accessible thesaurus to help me when I write up my PhD. I have had a look through and tried the ones listed in this directory but I do not think they are that good.
I am happy to pay for a good one but I do not want to go ahead and pay money if I then find that they are not accessible. Any recommendations please?
Also, I have a free dictionary app and use Siri for words that I cannot remember how to spell but I would like some recommendations for free or paid dictionary apps too that are of course accessible.

I know there is character AI in Kindroid, but I was wondering if there are any other apps or websites like these? Where you can build your own character and/or role-play.
