Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of an accessible program for organizing large media libraries? I've done some research, however unfortunately the one people seem to recommend, tune up, is completely inaccessible from what I've seen. Has anyone heard of something that will do this accessibly and well?
Thanks, Matthew

Hi everyone. I just upgraded to a macbook pro. I've found everything so far to be very accessible. However, I'm having 1 issue. I upgraded from a windows pc, where I used QRead for reading pdfs. Is there an accessible pdf reader for the mac? I'll mostly be reading large pdf textbooks, so I'll need something pretty powerful. All help is appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
Could someone tell me what are the best podcasting tools in Mac? I'm quite new in the OS and I'm not very familiarised with the audio editing and recording software here.
Is reaper, like on windows, the most accessible app? Or are other more comfortable for VO.
What about garageband, for example? I was playing with it a bit, but it don't seems very intuitive. I'm not sure if it really is not or I don't catch how to use it.
I have read about Hindenburg also. A lot of podcasters recommend it. Is it accessible with VO?
Hi, everyone! I am learning to code in Python using Pythonista 3 on my iPhone. However, there are functions necessary for my CS class that will not download to my phone and a lot of the instructions are very Mac-specific. Obviously, I can't go on using Pythonista 3. Does anyone know of an accessible Python IDE for the Mac? I have found Terminal to be quite cumbersome, and it is terrible for running large programs. Thanks in advance for your input.
Greetings everybody.
I'm creating this post to get some guidance in regards to Python programming on MacOS with VoiceOver.
Recently I decided to learn this programming language , and since I also recently purchased a MacBook Pro I wanted to make the best use of it and do some coding. Unfortunately I have yet to find an efficient way to do this.
So far I download the Python package from the Python website:
Hello Everyone,
My name is Emily Romero and I am a Ph.D. student from Colorado studying educational psychology. I have been totally blind since birth and have used assistive tech with speech outputs ever since I can remember. I am looking for reference management software to help keep my research organized and make writing literature reviews easier and more efficient. Does anyone know of accessible reference management software usable by researchers who are blind? Thank you so much for your help!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well and staying safe. I am looking for a new RSS service. The RSS service must, of course, be accessible. It must be able to connect to third-party clients such as feeddlerpro and have an accessible web interface. Any recommendations would be most welcome. Thank you very much, everyone 😊
Does anyone know of any great games for mac that has a sci-fi theme, like a star trek, star wars thing?
Also, is there a mud client I can use on mac for playing games like miriani or alter aeon? Thanks
Hello Apple vis members, Kaushik here I am a new YouTuber recently bought MacBook Air M1. Can anybody suggest best accessible screen reader than screen flow because I need to record my voice and voice over and screen also.
Hi, I need to record my screen during a Zoom meting (audio coming from headphones + what is visible on the screen). Is Quick Time on a Mac accessible to do this? I don't need to edit or do anything else other than recording audio and video and saving the file.
If quick time doesn't work, is there anything that is fully accessible on either a PC or a Mac?
Hi everyone hope you're doing well and staying safe :-)
I know there are regular cloud storage services such as dropbox and iCloud. But I'm looking for a secure storage service with more of a focus on privacy and encryption. One that I can access mainly from my Mac also from iOS devices if needs be.
So does anybody have any recommendations for good accessible secure storage services please? Thanks very much everyone :-)
I'm looking for a social media manager that has the following characteristics.
1. Is fully accessible with Big Sur and VoiceOver.
2. Includes alt text options for images on all social media networks supported.
3. Allows for imbedded links in posts.
I was using HootSuite but they limited their free option and the paid plans were way too much for what I got. I've tried Buffer and Zoho but both have accessibility issues and no alt text capability across social networks. Suggestions welcome.
