While Sierra seems to have fewer bugs than other recent OS updates, I'm encountering two problems in Pages.

1) The Voiceover 'find' command (VO f) works fine, as does the 'find next' command (VO g) -- but only for a while. After pressing VO g a few times, it stops working, even though I know the document contains more instances of the word I'm looking for.

What is the best way of doing this please? Can I use Apple mail or is a third-party application better for this please? #BusyCal seems to be a nice, handy and useful calendar app. Most of its content is #accessible and labled.
But here's the issue: If I navigate using #VoiceOver it's absolutely sluggish. Productive work is not possible like that.
I wrote the support but they wrote back they were not aware of performance issues for VoiceOver users. Sounds to me as if they knew of VO users using BusyCal. I tried a lot to get rid of the issue. I disabled everything I found on the View menue that could cause the sluggishnes and disabled animations in the settings. No success at all.

I've used a PC for many years, but I'm seriously thinking of buying either a Macbook Pro or Air. I already use VoiceOver on my iPhone and love it. Would it be a hard transition from PC to Mac? My current screen reader is Window-Eyes. Thanks.

Hi all. I wanted to buy Finding Dori, cheesy yeah I know. anyway, I know to look for the audio description icon under the movie, but I don't see it. Is it possible it's enabled and they haven't said anything?

Has anyone had any success in finding an accessible digital wallet for Mac? Any other associated tips for dealing with bitcoins are much appreciated as my research has come up with very little on the topic.

Thanks in advance

Hi all,
I'm sure I heard somewhere that you could tweak the OS X voices so that you could speed them up past their usual tolerance. How does one go about doing this? I'm finding that I could use VoiceOver on my mac faster than it is currently.

Cheers.

Hi: My name is Fritz Sieker and I am a volunteer at Colorado State university. This semester I am working with a blind student for a class in which he need to program in C. The Mac with X-code seems like a good fit. However, I am a complete novice with voice over and I'm not sure how to help the student. Here is a typical use scenario that works for me and I'm trying to understand how this might function for him: I would typically have two terminal windows open (Not using an IDE). One contains the program being written. The second is used for compiling and testing.

I am trying to get back in to c++, and I was told xcode was a good option. I just installed xcode 5.1, but I am not sure how to properly set up a c++ project and first file properly. I chose application and command line tool in the new project window, and was abble to make a c++ project, but not sure where to go from here. Please help?

Good afternoon. I would like to use the calculator on my MacBook pro. Is there a way I can just type a problem, or do I have to find each number and symbol? I have tried just finding and double tapping numbers and symbols on my iPhone and have gotten strange answers. I will be tutoring a student in math. I would like to create a document and read back the problems. How do you write the symbol for exponents? Thank you.

Hi,
since version Sequoia 15.2 on MBP with Intel processor, I am unable to create events. When I press CMD+N, the entire application freezes. VoiceOver stops speaking and works very slowly. It can take several dozen seconds to switch between options.
However, when I press enter to confirm an event, I am unable to add it.

Does anyone have the same issue or any idea for a solution?
I checked on MBA with M2 and it works perfectly there.

It seems like some events I put in my calendar are not getting stored properly somehow. Because:

1. When I do command f and search for an event, it does not come up in the search results. I tried typing the whole word and varying the capitals. Yet this particular event is listed when I manually navigate to the date in question.

My outlook calendar is shared with my iPhone through MS Exchange, but calendar events that I create on my phone do not show up on my computer. What setting do I need to adjust?
