I used to navigate http://news.google.com using VO+Command+H to jump by headings. This has stopped working recently, and since Safari hasn't changed, I assume it's a change at Google's end that has somehow exposed a defect in VoiceOver web navigation.

Hello all:
I like visiting news.google.com on Safari and reading the headlines with VO-H (web rotor). I encounter a problem when I want to click on a particular headline to read the details. It just does not work. I have to come up with a series of frustrating workarounds: doing a search with VO-F, using the item chooser etc. I remember it working with Mavericks but I don't think it is a browser issue because of the fact that our AppleVis works so well on its landing page.

Can you recommend a decent workaround for this issue or am I doing something wrong?

I have to use Google Sheets for a project. Is there a way to use Google Sheets accessibly on the Mac? If not, can Google Sheets be used in iOS?

See the below from one of my teachers. Can anybody help?
We are working with Google slides. When you access the film strip using Command-Option-Shift-F you should then be able to navigate the slides using arrow keys. This works on my laptop but not on his.

Now we are both continually getting "Chrome busy" or "Safari busy" and everything freezes up.

WELL THIS IS A QUERY AS WELL AS A TIP/ POST FOR THOSE WHO DO OR WISH TO DO SPEAKER NOTES IN GOOGLE SLIDES.
I DISCOVERED A WAY, BUT WANT TO KNOW IF THERE ARE EASY WAYS FOR THE SAME.
MY ENTIRE APPROACH IS ON THE BASIS OF TRACKPAD COMMANDS.
SO WHEN I AM CREATING SLIDES, I TOUCH TOWARDS THE BOTTOM OF THE MOUSE PAD WHERE I HEAR FRAME. THEN WHEN I SWIPE RIGHT I HEAR SPEAKER NOTES AT SOME POINT AND I PRESS ENTER.
ALTERNATIVELY WHEN I HERE FRAME I JUST PRESS COMMAND + OPTION + SHIFT + S AND SPEAKER NOTES ARE FOCUSED.

AM very happy with GOogle drive on mac, very accessible.
THe ony thing that is not working right now, is, When i installed GOogle drive, My drives were visible on computer, when i hit Command shift c, but now they disappeared, and the only way to access them is to go to my extrus and choose Google drive , open over view, and open google drive,
so, how can i get my vertual drives back to my Computer?

I got my new Mac today. I got the 13.3 air. It has the I7 quad cor 2.2ghz processor, 8gigs of ram and a 512gig SSD hard drive. How in the world do I get voice over to start when I reset or bring the unit back up from sleep Right now I am having to hit command F5 each time to turn voiceover back on. Man mac sure is different than Windows and it is going to take me some time to get use to it. Also when I plugged the unit in the AC adapter was really hot when I unplugged it. Is this normal or should you not use it when the unit is plugged in

I have been looking for a proper grammar and spell check option on the mac for a long time now. The built in Mac spell checker is a joke, and from what I understand Microsoft word on the mac is still not ideal for voice over users.

Well I think I may have finally found a tool that works for me. It's called Grammarly, and it's one of the most popular grammar checkers out there. It has some accessibility quirks, but I have been able to successfully use the web sight, Safari plugin, and mac desktop app.

Would anyone happen to know on the mac with Big Sur if the Grammarly app is usable? I have it on my iPhone, and though it's a little wonky in a few areas, for the most part, I find it actually works quite well. Would *love!* to be able to use it on my mac.

Hello all, I am starting a stats class in the fall, and I was curious if anyone knew of any graphing tools for the mac that are accessable with voiceover. Would numbers work for that or are there other programs that would work better? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone. Hope all is well. Just wanted to come on here and say that Ecamm is now fully accessible. As a blind user, you don't have to use the beta version anymore.
Over the last few months, I was able to help the developer out with testing. If you are looking for a great software to do livestreaming, recording, etc, feel free to check the program out. There is one small thing which he needs help with. If anyone know's how to help, let me know in the comments.

MegaSeg 6.0 was just released on the second of November it looks like, and with it comes a new interface design. What they don't tell you is that this new interface design is the first stetps toward accessibility in this app.
Opening up the app, you are no longer presented with "unknown" all over the app as a VoiceOver user. Instead, the first thing that appears is the total time of the currently playing track if one was playing, and the time elapsed.
