Hello GarageBand users
I been reading the information in the blog wrote by
Paul Martz
which is nice and very informative
and some others post by
Jeff Griffith
however steel I am not sure how
edit and add some effects to the vocal track
Per example how can I select some specific segment in the region or inserting some markers and take out those segments selected from the region
if you know how to do it or know where I could get the information please let me know in the comments below :)
Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I just started using my old mac after a few months and I noticed that garage band is no longer what it used to be...
Can someone give me some hints on using it? Like keyboard shortcuts and such... I was also interested in getting the instruments from the old jampacks... How can I do that?
do I need logic pro x?
Thanks

Hi,
I want to start a Garageband project using different tracks, such as Apple Loops and a drummer. When I copy and paste a loop (from the Apple loop browser) into the project, it's often only two measures long.
I want to extend the length of my tracks, such as a loop with only two measures. I've tried to drag the right end of the track to the right, so it would get longer. However, this doesn't seem to work with the keyboard...
Hi everyone, I am getting a Mac because I am getting tired of Jaws freezing with any intensive tasks. I have a PC for work and can use that if there is anything that really doesn't work, but I had a few questions I was hoping to get some insights about:
1. On Jaws, it is easy to navigate by headings by pressing "h", or to pull up a list of links on a website. I have found both of these to be useful. Is there something similar on the mac or any keyboard shortcuts I can create to simulate something similar?
Hi everyone, I should finally be getting a Mac Mini soon. Can anyone suggest some awesome apps to put on it after I get it set up? Thanks a lot for your help in advance!
Hi all.
Suppose I do a search for messages in Mail. So I hit cmd-opt-f and type keyboard and hit enter. I get a scroll area/table with all kinds of messages containing the word keyboard, awesome! I find what I'm looking for.
Now, I want to get out of that and back to the normal table of messages in all mailboxes. How do I do that? Right now I'm hitting cmd-w, which closes that, but now Mail has no windows. So I hit cmd-opt-n, I think, to bring back the normal window. I'll bet there's a better way to get rid of the search results though.
Hi all.
Any tips on getting info in Transmission? I have a table with four rows which obviously are for the four torrents I've got going. But I just get it reading image a couple of times and blank columns for the rest of the row. So I can't see what torrent I'm on, let alone what they're doing or such. This also means I can't delete them, stop them, and so on.
Hi all.
Pre-AI, if I opened an image of text in Preview, and hit VO-shift-l, it would try torecognize text. I just tried this with an image using the new AI stuff on the Mac, and here's what I get.
Hello. Its Donald. I was wondering about making a cheat sheet for all or most of the voiceover commands out their. I am new to the mac. Thanks.
So I make funny and poetic Twitter bots and lately I have been adding pictures to the tweets. I would like to have some way of getting basic descriptions for the pictures, so I have at least some confidence that the pictures are of what I think they are. The only thing is, for technical reasons due to how my bots work, I have been using pictures I find on twitter. I have no idea how I would run such pictures through any of the IOS apps that describe pictures, because I do not believe you can import from Twitter with these apps.
I've found Zoom unusable on Mac for professional meetings because it is so verbose when I use cmd accent to switch windows. Often, the message is "application space containing" and a whole lot of verbiage listing everything within ten miles, all of which obliterates whatever someone is saying to me. I've customized the VO verbosity setting for "window" to give name only, but without effect. I've turned off mmost things under verbosity for notifications, announcements, and hints. Is there a way to make Zoom less verbose when switchiing windows?
Hi all.
I keep getting this random announcement about genmoji or whatever they're called and image creation being available. Hitting VO-o for notifications doesn't show anything, I just get stuff about adding widgets. How in the world do I get rid of this?
Hi all.
So in Mail I have preview set to none. But if I'm on a message and Vo-right past the splitter, I get to an area that sometimes says "message group" and sometimes "message content area". The message text shows up in it.
How do I get rid of this? I think it marks single messages as read as soon as I arrow over them, just as if I had content showing in the preview pane. What I want, if possible, is that no message text or headers or whatever show up until I hit enter on a message to read it.
I downloaded what I thought was a safe version of Flash Player. Well, it also installed Search Mine into Safari. The app forces you to use its search field and takes you to sites that give them hit credits.
The advice I found said to delete Search Mine from the list of apps under preferences. It's not there. Or, I should change my search engine and home page back to the defaults, but I can't find where to do that. My other thought is to uninstall and reinstall Safari. Would that work? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi all.
Another Mail question. How do I get the size of email on my mac? Google says control clicking on an account, I can't seem to do that. My local mail in ~library/mail is 4.31 GB, so that's something, but I've got a couple IMAP accounts I'd like to know the size of too. I assume the stuff in ~/library/mail is local stuff imported from Thunderbird on Windows, and those IMAP accounts are separate.
