Hello Apple Vis,
Has anyone ever tried Pluraleyes.
It's supposed to be an app to sink audio with video.
It goes by the wave lengths. I've been searching around for an accessible way of sinking audio in videos.

Hi. I have a Sanza ClipZip with rockbox. I used to use my pc to make .talk and .voice files until the PC started falling apart and I sent it to the recycling. No matter what I do, I can not get the Mac version to work. Everywhere I interact VoiceOver says unknown and everything in the menu is dimmed. Is this me doing something wrong or is RockBox on the Mac not accessible. Thank you.

hey all,
i thought i would right a quick little post on a round about way to quote a tweet using night ow witch does not have this feature built in.
since tweetbot Will most likely never fix the bug where names are not read and the native twitter apps march 22 update has broken keyboard shortcuts and even activating items in the menu does not work i feel this is important..
in night owl find a tweet that you want to quote.
hit the letter t witch will open the tweet in your preferred web browser.
copy the link as you would on any other page.

I'm sure I'm not the 1st to have discovered this but I had to go into safe mode to check something and after following the instructions to get into safe mode, I decided to try and start VoiceOver and amazingly, it worked.
I remember the days on the Intel systems when sometimes even external sound cards would not be detected in safe mode and that most people were using braille displays to get things done.
You can certainly tell you are in safe mode because at the login screen, it will say safe boot at the top.

Hi, guys.
Fore some reason I'm having trouble updating apps on my mac. I went to the update section of the app store and installed all the software updates, including pages. Whenever I try to access documents in pages, I get a message on the screen saying I need a newer version of pages to access this document. When I go to the menu bar and select about pages, it appears I have an older version of pages, 4.3, I think. But when I search for pages in the app store, instead of saying install pages or update pages, it just says open.

Hi all. I somehow got this app, analyze me, on my Mac. I can't remove it. I can't delete it, Clean my Mac can't uninstall it, even after I unchecked the Safari extension it was there. I want this to go away. I tried to use the activity monitor. I thought "Stopping" the process might help. Of course the "ap" does not have any windows. I'd like some help navigating the terminal if i need to go that route. I'm not afraid but I don't want to mess anything up. Thanks anyone who can help.

Hi everyone.
I've recently gotten a new Mac. ON the old one, I managed to set up text messaging forwarding just fine, but when I try to do so for the new one, I never get a confirmation code on my Mac for the final step. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps I've found online, including restarting iMessage, rebooting both Mac and iPhone, and signing out of iCloud on both devices. I still get no confirmation code on my Mac.
Anyone else having this issue who has found a solution?

Hi, I recently got a Mac Mini. I also got a 24 inch monitor that hooks up to the HDMI port on the mac. The monitor also has built in speakers. Buy default, the mac mini switches to the HDMI speakers. When I plug in a set of speakers to the mac mini, i still get audio from the monitor. I usually have my mac set to use the internal speakers of the computer. When i plug in headphones or a set of speakers to the jack on the computer, is there a way to tell the mac mini to automatically switch to the device hooked up to the audio jack and disable the internal monitor speakers?

I am an avid music fan and purchase a good deal of content. I have a good audio system, so high resolution (better than CD quality) does improve sound quality. I'm using a MacBook Air with the latest OS.

I am having a small problem getting the VO Voice to stop talking on my Macbook Pro, running OSX 10.9.1.
I use the Lee voice, at one time all it took to make Him stop talking was a quick Tap on the Control Key.

Hi everyone,
I've recently noticed something that I think could be a possible issue with iTunes and headphones with builtin microphones and controlls. Whenever I touch the place on the wire where the headphones are connected to the mac, my Mac seems to out of nowhere play my iTunes library, even though I didn't open iTunes or pressed any of the controls on the headphones.
I was wondering if this is an issue of some sort, or something that Apple intended to happen?
Is there anything that could be done about this as it's getting a bit annoying.

Somehow, I've lost myVO configuration settings on my Mac mini. I've restored them to some extent but cannot figure out how to prevent VO from announcing headings on certain web pages. I enjoy reading Google News, and every heading and level is announced as I navigate with QuickNav from one topic to another. Can anyone advise me how to dump this setting when I'd like not to hear the heading announcements?

Hi all.
So I have it set to show headers in Mail,and I have smart names unchecked. Sometimes I get [email protected], and sometimes I get "payPal" or "Amazon", or for spam, "Insider Deals". In other words, sometimes it seems to be using the actual address, and sometimes it seems to be using a display name. This is when arrowing through the messages table, but also if I interact with the message and go into the headers group.

Hello.
First, if this issue / question has been addressed before, I would be more than glad if anyone could point me to the right direction.
My question is simple. How does one create and read headings in pages for OSX?
I seem to have gone through most of the options but haven't found this obvious thing.
I would be more than glad to receive an answer on this.
P.s. If there is a podcast, overview, guide or any material about latest iWork from accessibility point of view, it would be nice if you could throw a link in here as well.

Hi.
I just got M3 MacBook Air. In Safari VO says heading level three and then the text but I want to change it so that it says the text before saying heading level three. How can I do it? I know it was possible to change on my old MacBook but I don’t find any useful settings from VoiceOver utility anymore.

Hello everyone,
I have just gone through a document in Pages and selected different portions of text and marked them as Headings 1 or 2 via the Paragraph Styles option in Pages and these are recognised and read out by VoiceOver correctly. However, when I exported this document in Word Format to share with others, VoiceOver on iOS did not recognise those headings.
