Hi folks
Sometimes when closing a window I am left with an open dialog box which I can just see the outline of a dialog box but can not get V/ O to locate it all to close it
Please could some kind person help me to close it with V/O, many thanks in advance

I would love to hear from this group about experiences learning Voice Over and other accessibility features on the Mac. What resources did you rely on? What helped the most? Are there websites or podcasts you found helpful? And did you get any help from folks like the Braille Institute or Federation for the Blind?

Is there any way to successfully complete an installation of Windows 10 on bootcamp without sighted assistance?
I read that the audio drivers are non-functional during the Windows install. I do, however, have a Focusrite 2I2 USB soundcard, and I also have VMware fusion. Is there a way I can either a: use the Focusrite soundcard or B: boot as a VM to finish the setup of Windows 10, until I can install Apples drivers?
Or is there a way I can make an unattended installation that will work on bootcamp?

2) Perform contiguous selection of items in a table, list , etc. without the repeated VO+Cmd+Enter

Is there a way to add more languages for VoiceOver in OS X?
Iʻve got just Alex. But as I read and write in more than one language, iOS is easier to use when I need to pick the language the text to be read (or to be written) is in.
Iʻd love to add some of the languages I frequently use, and then use rotary to pick the language. But rotary only gives me 4 lousy options - when I get it to work. Nothing for languages.
Is there something Iʻm missing?

How can I set up my Mac so I don't have to press the FN key in conjuction with the Function Keys to get a normal press instead of using them to raise and lower volume?

The default voiceover keyboard command for spell current word is VO+ww.
How do I change it to be left-option+o ?
and the default keyboard command for spell current character is VO+cc.
How do I change it to be left-option+p ?

Hey! Maybe i'm not just finding this because I'm running off of 5 hours of sleep, but how do you click links on a PowerPoint on mac? I have to look at specific resources my professor has cited, but I can't click them, and I have to answer a question for it on a quiz. Is there a way to do this? Sorry if the answer's totally obvious lol.

I was wondering how you close an app on the Mack even when using the command tap on the Nack. The app is Dropbox and does not appear when I hit command tap. I can't move the app to the trash because a message appears saying the app can't be moved because it is open. However, when I go to force quit Dropbox doesn't show up. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.
First of all, I am new to Applevis so would like to say hi to everyone.
Secondly, I have a question about VoiceOver on the Mac.
I am using OS X Mavericks and I notice that VoiceOver sometimes raises or lowers the pitch of the voice when speaking certain content.
For example, if you move to the address bar in Safari, VoiceOver says search google or enter an address in a deeper voice.
This is extremely annoying and I want to know if there is any way to stop it?
Unchecking all the options for change pitch when deleting text and reading capital letters does nothing.

I am a new member and am very excited to learn from everyone. I did a quick search and found one part of the forum where people discuss how to change the upper limit of the speech rate for TTS using voiceover. However, I don't see anywhere explaining how to do that for the regular select and speak out loud feature. I am someone who was more as a zoom text user on Windows systems–so for me using a combination of the screen magnifier with the occasional select and speak out loud is a good fit. However, all of the Mac voices are far too slow with her upper limits.

Hi. How do I install iTunes scripts on the latest osx. I have a script I want to use I found at: dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=droptoaddnmake and I have read the read me and tried twice to install it but I don't think it worked because it is not showing up in the iTunes menu. Thank you.

Hey guys, what's the best way to jump to an edit or search field with VO? Like with NVDA you can press 'e' or shift 'e' and it'll bring you to the next or previous editable field in a website or Electron-based apps. How do I do that with VoiceOver?
An aditional question, how do I jump to the edit field in say, TextEdit or Google Docs? Sometimes I open it, or command tab back to it and I have to Vo arrow a thousand times till I reach it. Frankly it's frustrating. Is there a better way to do this?
