Hi all

I'm totally confused about how to edit the bookmarks table . I used to have a very rudimentary idea of how to delete bookmarks in earlier version of Safari (primarily Lion). But Safari version 9 (El Capitan) has me stumped. I'm running El Capitan (10.11.5) on a MacBook Pro. I checked this site and others via Google, and haven't found anything on this for a blind user.

Any help is appreciated much.

for a strange reason I cant find the classic email sounds on the Mac.i went in to the mail preferences and it seems they were removed

every time I go to I tunes on the Mac it says it wants me to re enter my pass word for my app le id.is there a way I can get rid of the 2 factor offentacation

Hi everyone I hope your all well, I’m running Mac os10 high Sierra. I’m having a strange issue, I downloaded twitterific from the Mac App Store but it won’t open i’ve tried redownloading it and that hasn’t fixed the problem, does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? Your help with this problem would be most welcome, kind regards trey.

I now realise that since installing High Sierra I have lost my preview pane in Apple Mail. When on an email in say inbox I press VO and nothing happens. Before High Sierra VO j would jump to the preview window and VO j again would return to that particular email in the inbox. I have tried ticking the View Classic layout and unticking it with no effect. Does anyone have any ideas please?

I am new to VoiceOver on my Macbook. So far i have learnt basic navigation. Things were going well before I did something stupid. I accidently pressed some command (which i dont really remember) which has changed the functionality of the right arrow and left arrow keys. Now when I am presing the right arrow or left arrow key alone, it is acting like I am pressing them along with the VO modifier keys.

For a strange reason i doo not hear the sound of the ding when a podcast is done down loading on i tunes on the mac.

My brother and I have been having issues when using voiceover when connected to HDMI cable. Once my iPhone 7 is connected, voiceover stops working. It won't go through the speakers when doing a presentation. We have only got it to work once. IF anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

when I try to play a local radio stations podcast in I tunes on the Mac it will not play at all. I got rid of it and subscribed to it and it would not play at all is there any way I can fix it

Hello there,

a user new to using the mac was fiddling around with his macbook air the other day, and managed to do something which has caused all keys but the k and the l key not to work. I.E during entering the password and with voiceover off the K key and the L key work just fine, but turn on voiceover and they won't work at all.
Could it be that the vo that is ctrl option are locked? but then how and why do other keys work.

Any assistance regarding the matter is welcome.

Hi all. I've ordered two teddy bears from www.vermontteddybear.com and each time I've had a problem. The latest order, which was Monday, I got all the way to the submit order part of the process. I saw two buttons labeled "Submit." One, it was obvious it takes you back to edit your payment info, shipping etc. The other one, didn't do anything when I clicked, used voice over, shift space to hear the mouse click, I even turned off voice over, pressed both enter and space, thinking it would help. Nothing.

I am posting these instructions in response to a recent tweet and the occasional mailing list query.

Upon first launch of Little Snitch, it is reasonable for a VO User to assume the app is not accessible because it is not possible to locate or interact with any parts of the app in it's default setting; however, , much of Little Snitch is actually quite accessible if you can find someone with enough sight who can spare a few minutes to tick a single checkbox within the app. I’ve included instructions to do this below.

I need to use Excel for work collaboration and because Numbers doesn't support array entry of data. But Excel for Mac isn't designed the same way Numbers is, and VO does not recognize header rows and columns. I don't expect Apple to ever write special code to overcome Excel's non-Apple-like design, and I don't expect Microsoft to redesign Excel to overcome VO's limitations. So, I'm wondering if there's a way for someone in the community to script a solution either in Apple Script or in the Visual BASIC editor built into MS Office apps.

I want to duel boot from an external drive,but need to know what software I would need and the process I should take in installing to the drive.I am using a 2018 Macbook Pro.

I was using BitBucket in Chrome and browsing a file which I don't do very often. I was struggling to get VoiceOver into the actual file contents.

And then I heard something about enabling screen reader mode by pressing - I think - Option+F1.

And it then starting saying this:

I am trying to hide apps in the mac app store that I no longer use. I've read the documentation to see how to do this but when I get to the step about looking for a "more" button I do not see one. Has anybody been successful with hiding apps?
