Hello everyone I have a problem. I am having a hard time finding a scanner that is easy to use with jaws to read my printed documents. I intend in the future to switch from windows to a mac but I need a scanner that will work with both types of computers.
A lot of scanners that I have researched only work with one or the other so I was wondering if there could possibly be a scanner that can work with both. When I eventually do find a scanner can I use jaws or vo to make the scanner talk and how. What is the software that comes with the scanner for?

hi all, I have 2 questions.
Firstly what are the blue tooth keyboard commands for switching pages the gesture is a 3 finger scroll up or down.
secondly i'm running a 9 inch iPad pro with the latest iOS and I've noticed that when i type using a blue tooth keyboard multiple letters are entered when i press a letter just once has any one els noticed this?
your help with these questions would be most welcome kind regards trey.
I need recommendations for a blue-tooth keyboard to use with my IPhone 5s, the simpler the better.
Thanks.
As a screen reader user who uses Bluetooth headset and speakers, latency and battery life are very important. It's said that V5 of Bluetooth, which is includeded in iPhone 8 and X improves on these 2 metrics.
I've asked Apple support, product search on Amazon, and am asking here--I've not found any Bluetooth 5 audio headset.
Does any know of any?
Hi everyone,
When I exercise on my treadmill I like to listen to podcast.
As you might imagine, the treadmill makes a lot of noise. So when I listen through the speakers built into the walls of my gym, I find that I have to put up the music pretty loud.
I'm thinking of getting either some bone conduction headphones or over the ear headphones that I can connect to my iPhone for listening at a more reasonable level without destroying my hearing.
Since I sweat a lot when running on my treadmill, the device would definitely have to be waterproof.
Hi everyone,
I hope I have posted this in the correct section of the forum - feel free to say so if not.
Yesterday I finally updated to iOS 13 on my iPhone 8 (so I have iOS 13.5).
Given that VO can't be readily separated from other sound output on IOS, even with the audio destination rotor option, I haven't been very interested in Bluetooth audio. However, for those of us with, say, a Mac mini, Intel NUC, or Intel compute stick (I'm in the latter category), a bluetooth speaker as the computer's primary audio device would be fabulous if one is not connecting to a monitor.
As I am blind I am having problems choosing a Bluetooth dongle which will connect to my MP3 player because of the lights which come on when you push the button to activate or deactivate the dongle so if thereβs a dongle that somebody could recommend I would appreciate it
Hello! I just got an Apple Watch Series 2 for the holidays, and I'm noticing that, at the gym, it's hard to hear my watch feedback. I would like to buy some BT headphones that will channel both my Apple Watch and my iPhone concurrently. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm very active and travel a lot, so if they are good for sports and fairly rugged while being able to hear environmental sounds reasonably well are a plus. I know that's asking for a lot, but, I figure, if I ask for the whole pie and only get half, I'll be pretty happy. Anyway! Let me know.
Hello,
I was wondering if a few of you that owns Bluetooth headset, either the one or two ear models, can confirm something for me. My Bluetooth headset broke so I canβt test this.
Music, calls and VO steams to the headset. Does the VO sound effects like clicks and bumps go to the headset or does it go to the iPhone speaker? When the phone rings, do you hear it on the headset? Are there any other sounds that does not go to the headset?
Thanks for all your help.
David
I have been trying out various Bluetooth headsets on my iPhone 6 over the last few weeks, from: Plantronics, Jabra and even Samsung. I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the iPhone or some setting that needs changing, but I can't seem to check the callerID with voiceOver when using a Bluetooth headset.
Hello, Has anyone found a pair of bluetooth headphones with minimal or no noticeable lag while using voice over? I have yet to find one where the lag doesn't drive me crazy. Thanks.
