iOS and iPadOS

Hello all,
As I started using the Reddit app. For example, if you wanted to go to the browse tab, you wouldn't know what you're pressing because the button isn't labeled. As a matter of fact, most buttons aren't labeled clearly. For example, if you wanted to login and wanted to show your password, all you would find is something along the lines of "icPassword24".
Or if you wanted to go to the Community tab, you wouldn't know where you were in the app.

Hi,

I've tried at least 5 different Reddit clients, and didn't like any of them. The main issue was how many flicks it took to get past a single post because each swipe read the submitter, the post, followed by a bunch of statistics.

I'm looking for an app that works more like Twitteriffic or Facebook that would let me browse Reddit efficiently. Any recommendations?

Hello everyone.
I've seen a couple of posts here on the site about an accessible Reddit client called Redditor I downloaded the app but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to use it. I was wondering if anyone knew of any guides or podcasts on the subject. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, and thanks to all the members of the Applevis team for creating such an awesome internet experience.:-)

Hello Folks, Sometimes, when in Safari on my iPHone 5, I come across links I want to click on in order to sign up for that site's RSS feed. Safari automatically hands me off to my Downcast app (which I believe has some RSS functionality under the hood in order to pull in podcasts I'm subscribed to. But, what I want is for Safari to hand me off to Lire, which I loaded onto my phone months after Downcast. Does anyone know if one can tell Safari to redirect those requests from Downcast to Lire? I called Apple Care whom I've found to be very helpful always, and patient.

I always found the Redit mobile website really tedious to get around on using VO so I was hopeful to see that they finally launched an iOS app. I downloaded the app and unfortunately it’s even more difficult to use.

Have other users of either the website or standalone app found any tips or tricks that make navigation with VO any easier? Also, has anyone tried one of the unofficial Redit apps?

Hi All!

I'm totally blind and also have reduced sensitivity in my fingers and finger tips.

I'm very new to the iPhone and am still trying to get to grips with my 6S.

I believe you can reduce the sensitivity of the iPhone screen, so it requires a little more pressure, before it responds to your gestures. At the moment, every time I touch the screen, the iPhone starts chattering away and sometimes I start opening lots of things that I didn't want etc.

Hi all. I'm using an iPhone 32 gb four, and for some reason there's now an alert that says enter voice mail password. I don't know why it's come up, can anyone tell me why? My service provider is AT&T if that makes any difference. I'm also using the latest IOS.

I’m interested in learning about alternative medicines such as aromatherapy, crystal healing, Reiki etc. Are there any accessible Reference apps out there please? Thanks in advance.

In iOS 7, is there a new gesture for refreshing content in apps? When I do a three finger swipe down, nothing happens!

Hi everyone. I was wondering if there is a way of refreshing favourites in whatsapp. All my new contacts are at the bottom instead of being in alphabetical order. Is there a way to have order in my contacts? Refreshing favorites in whatsapp.

While it seems a simple matter, I have not learned nor can I find information on how to 'refresh' my twitter feed using Voice Over and the twitter application. I believe this is the 'pull down' for the sighted though my application has nothing which seems to say this and I do not know how to work around this. Can anyone either share the process or point me towards a solution/tutorial for this? Thanks much! Randy & the Mighty Quinn

Hello all. So, I do have an I Phone 6 and I have decided to change my password for my apple ID... the problem that I have seen with this is now, I can't by things using my I phone because it needs verifications for me to inter my security answers to my security questions. Which I don't know off the top of my head... and the only way I know to reset it is to call apple to do it? Is this true? Keep in mind, I don't have apple care and will they stll chage me for it?

For those who know Reiki or are Reiki therapists: Ever wanted to have an app right on your IPhone that would let you program intervals and other chors one needed to use Reiki music Cds and other alternative techniques like watches and others to do? I by chance put in Reiki in the App Store, and the first result I came up with was Reiki Timer, a free app that according to the app store info, does this and more. However before downloading, has any of you tried to see how it's accessible with VoiceOver? Nevertheless I'd like to make the recommendation; one never knows when it'll be needed!

Hi all,

I was installing the uber app on to my iPhone 5 running IOS 8.1. The app downloaded but the download was interrupted. I uninstalled the app and am unable to get it back on to the phone. I have checked in iTunes and I cannot find anything. I have downloaded the app again after deleting it from the iTunes library. No go.
I have synchronized the iPhone with my computer but the app is not copied back to the iPhone.

iTunes version=12.0.1.26

Hello everyone, I would like to have an alarm application that had these functions. I would like to be able to set recurring alarms as you can in the iOS app. What you cannot do in iOS is set alarms for a specific date and time, more than one week in advance. Does anyone know if such an application? I specifically would like to be able to set alarms and not reminders. I find I am much more likely to ignore a reminder and thought it would be great to be able to set alarms for any time and date.

What is the most reliable way to go about scanning a QR code with an iPhone 13 Pro Max? I'm generally incredibly good at things like this, and with the use of my camera, but this just isn't happening. I get the QR code lined up in the frame with absolutely no problem, and Voiceover tells me, when using the native Camera app QR code detected, but the problem is that then, when I try flicking to find it and actually double tap on it to carry out whatever action the QR code is supposed to do, I can't find the actual code anywhere on the screen.
