Hello. I am looking for apps that I can use to meet new people. I have no vision, so I'm trying to find apps that don't rely very heavily on pictures. I don't care if they're dating apps, apps for just making friends, whatever. Being able to find people locally and all over would be nice, but it doesn't really matter. I mean, local is always nice so if you do like a person you can meet up if you so choose, but either way, I just want to find apps that allow you to meet new people.
iOS and iPadOS
This is something that I’ve never really got to grips with, so I figure that I should before I actually need to rely on Time Machine to get me out of a hole (smiles)
So, would somebody please explain how to navigate through the versions of a file available in TM and restore the one that you want. Thanks!
Hi guys its Carlos,
another thing I would like advise is a good color identifier app.
I saw color eye I believe its Called and another is color id free.
and I know there are others.
I'm looking for one that could tell me among other things when a light on a charging devise changes color from red to green or from red to turning off meaning its done charging.
When I looked at color id it specificly mention it could do something like that.
Also if it is good for color recognition such as of clothing etc.
Well thanks for the feed back.
I am in the process of looking for a new podcast app for my library, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I was using iTunes on my mac and Apple's iOS podcast app, but I am looking for alternatives.
The most important features to me are that subscriptions, and play back positions sink between my iPhone and mac, and that the apps can handle my massive library.
I got the TempoPerfect app, but the metronome sound is hard for me to hear while I'm playing, even if I turn the volume way up. Can anyone recommend a metronome app with a sharp, loud tock? Thanks.
Hello
I need suggestions. I need an app that tells me my surroundings like shops, restaurants etc. What is the best money reader? I also need a good app that tells me what color are my things.
Thank you
My daughter sings in a choir and likes to record rehearsals, so she can learn new pieces. The playback options in the Voice Memos app allow you to rewind only in chunks of time, such as 1 minute, 2 minutes etc. She often needs to rewind only ten or twenty seconds. Does anyone know of a recording app which is more flexible?

Hello from Alaska. My name is Julia and I am in the 9th grade. I'm takin a semester long Digital Composition class. We are supposed to work with Garage Band, but I don't think it's accessible using Voiceover on my phone. I'm not a Mac user, but I'm learning how to to type with a standard keyboard and use Jaws. Are there any other programs that are accessible on an IPhones or pc? I appreciate any advice and recommendations.
Gratefully, Julia

Hello everyone, are there any suggestions for an accessible music player that supports many audio formats and does the following:
1) plays files directly from Dropbox without first downloading them to the iPhone or iPad;
2) allows bookmarks to be set while a track is playing;
3) remembers the last position of a file before closing, and resumes from that position after relaunch?
I want to get a cleaning robot but the apps to control them are often not very accessible to VO users.
At the moment I'm pending between one by EcoVacs and RoboRock.
Has anyone experiences with one of them? How accessible are their apps?
Thanks and all the best
Jürgen
Hello friends!
I guess that a number of us might consider ourselves to be musically inclined in a special sense. Maybe some of us are even into the art of playing one musical instrument or the other. I myself am such.
But I need someone to help me with any information he/she might have regarding whether or not there's any accessible music synthesiser/sequencer application available for the iPhone. Cheers!
Hi,
I'm seeking advice on how I can best help a student of mine who has diabetic neuropathy navigate her iPhone. She is a fairly new iPhone user, and she really seems to be having trouble tapping the screen. Because she has neuropathy, she isn't sure how hard she's tapping the screen. Having never had neuropathy, I'm not sure what work-arounds there are for people with this condition when it comes to working with an iPhone. Any tips and tricks are welcome, because I really want to help her excel at using her iPhone.
Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a Sonos speaker and I was just wondering if anyone on here has a Sonos system and if so how easy is it to set up and is there iOS app accessable using voiceover? Thanks in advance for any replies
I just purchased an iPHONE 5C with 16GB and already own an iPOD Touch 4G with 32GB.
After restoring my iCLOUD backup, and updating to the latest IOS, I was completely out of space on the iPHONE, whereas I keep about 5GB free on my iPOD.
After some research, I realized that even without data, my 16GB iPHONE really only has a bit over 12GB due to the large size of IOS 8.1. That's not true for my iPOD Touch, with IOS 6.1 being considerably smaller.
Hello:
I know their are several apps for navigation. I know that there is 4square, Blind Square, Microsoft Soundscapes, and Near by explorer. I feel that the last app is a bit too much and I was wondering which app would be the best to look at? I know that their are two versions of near by explorer. Free and paid. Any help would greatly appreciated. Also, are their other navigation apps besides the one's I mentioned?
