Hi,
I'm seeking recommendations for a folder-based music player which supports crossfade, playlists, and equalizer. Folder based is easiest, because I already have the music files in my files app.
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm seeking a good notetaking app, with a straightforward find and replace feature for text within the document. It would also be helpful if this app had iCloud or dropbox integration. Thanks for any recommendations.

Hello.

I was hoping to get some opinions on a topic regarding weather. To me, the native iOS weather app is garbage. It doesn't read the basic information that people will need, most notably the chance of precipitation, unless you're reading the hourly forecast. It also has many issues reading the current weather conditions. So my question is what do people recommend as their favorite weather app that is reliable and, of course, accessible? Please feel free to elaborate. Thanks in advance.

Hello. Can anyone recommend a simple text editor for rtf, or at least txt, which works with an external keyboard? In Windows (XP and 7), I use Wordpad without ribbons, and occasionally, Jart, if that helps. I downloaded Voicedream Writer, but I don't need all of those features, nor do I need something for notes or uploading to various sites. Pretext works well, but it can't handle large documents. I read about something called Textor, which is supposed to be similar to Text Edit on the Mac, but it's no longer available. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all,

I'm trying to get rid of my phone line and tried using the Skype app for my iPhone. But the keypad on that app is very difficult to dial number. Do you know of another app that uses Skype or a similar Skype-like services I can use on my iPhone to replace my wired phone line? I use VoiceOver and am an AppleVis fan. Thank you,

HI
I'm an adaptive technology trainer. I mostly train and support people using VoiceOver on iOS and JAWS and NVDA for windows.
I use TeamViewer to connect to client's computers but as far as I'm aware only Apple staff have a similar system to connect to iOS devices.
Providing remote support for iOS is difficult without a remote support app. I've looked but can't anything.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
David

Hello all,
I went blind 5 years ago. I was an avid comic book reader before going blind. I have been collecting comic books since I was a young boy.. I am trying to find a way to organize my physical comic book collection on either my iOS devices, or my MacBook. I have heard of programs like comic bass, which is a little pricey for the full-fledged version, But it is not very screen reader friendly. Could anybody recommend anything to help me organize my comic book collection that I can use a screen reader with? Thank you
Stay safe

I wonder if anyone can help me?

I am working with a young lady with a visual impairment who is using an iPad to access books from libraries using Overdrive. In order to allow her to be as independent as possible could you tell me what some of the most important gestures are in order to navigate the app or are there a set of keyboard shortcuts that can be used to access it via a bluetooth keyboard.

Thanks,

I would greatly appreciate some tips using blind square...
I have noticed that Blind Square does a fantastic job of intersection announcement when traveling in a vehicle. The app is not announcing many pois. If I am in a downtown area for example, I may get 1 or 2 poi announcments within a 45 minute period. I have my announcement fuilter set to all. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks everyone.

Hello all,
I am interested in task manager apps. I was listening to the one on OmniFocus2 and it sounds like a nice app. However it is fairly expensive at $40. Wunderlist is free and accessible on the iPhone but is not accessible on either the Mac or PC. Does anyone know of any task managers that are free or low cost that are accessible with voiceover on the iPhone?

Regards,
Greg Wocher
