Hi all! I guess this may be controversial, and I don't want to be the one who's causing a lot of problems. But I can't help noticing this issue. Specifically, I have Spotify and Safari opened on my iPhone SE, (actually, any two apps will do), running iOS 12. And I found that once I switched to Spotify, Safari becomes inactive, and once I switch to Safari, Spotify shuts itself down. Is this how the new system speeds up the experience? Or am I not doing something right? I'm really puzzled, since in the past I could have three apps running, and none is not active.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a suggestion for the annoying situation that I’m in.
I’m happy using Safari for YouTube music; it gives me a good experience and it blocks adds. The problem is, I use one google account for YouTube music, and another for normal YouTube. It’s too much of a pain logging in and out of accounts on Safari, so I am looking for a second browser that I will only use for normal YouTube.
The annoying messenger bug seems to have been fixed in the latest version of messenger. Just thought I would get this across and hopefully other peoples iPhones will work with this new update but very relieved to see that they fixed it.
I have discovered this really annoying bug on Pages for the latest ios. If you turn off quicknav and try going character by charactor, it just focuses on one character. Really a pain for edditing documents.
Has anyone discovered how to eddit character by character?
I shall email Apple about this.
Thanks. I do a lot of edditing documents so really need to find a work around.
High, ever since IOS 9 came out I have been having strange problems with only the apple music app. Some songs I have drown out voiceover but ever since IOS 9 this hasn't been the case because the volume somehow has been lowered for music. I don't have audio ducking on. I have tried turning the iPhone off and on again and hard restarting. Please can you help me with this because this is getting very annoying.
Hello All,
I received my new iPhone 6 last night and what a wonderful device it is. I set it up last evening but have an annoying problem that I cannot figure out and need some suggestions. I'm sure it is simple but I cannot get my head around it.
I have an annoying problem with Siri, I'm running ios 10.3.3 on an IPhone SE. This problem started with one of the ios10 versions but I can't remember which one. When I ask her to open an app she will sometimes open it right away but other times she will display a message that either says wait 1 second, hmmm, or one moment. It's kind of like I'm interrupting her as if she were in the middle of something. I've restarted my phone, my connection is good. Anyone else having this issue and know what to try next?
Thanks
I've noticed that when flicking through a WhatsApp chat, I'm being offered a button for contact info of the sender of the previous message. This is quite annoying. I believe this has only started today, presumably with an update. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Hello
I reset my iPhone 8+ to reset all settings and since then I hear a swishing sound when I move from app to app in my Home screens. I can not remember where to turn it off. 3 years ago, after just receiving my iPhone 6S the same thing happened and somebody on this forum provided me with the answer. Assistance again will be much appreciated.
Hi everyone. I love the Kindle app on iOS and use it almost every day, so was rather annoyed and disheartened to encounter a nasty bug in the latest version. As of Kindle V. 6.84, (released on 8/19), VoiceOver seems to be ignoring spacing and punctuation between certain words, so when reading continuously it sounds like all words are running together. It makes for some weird pronunciations and a truly unpleasant reading experience. Has anyone else encountered this and/or reported it to Amazon? Is the word spacing issue also present when reading with a Braille display?
this bug is very annoying and I don't know of any workarounds. when I add a contact to send a message to, VoiceOver no longer announces the contact name when I go back to that field to confirm that I have entered the right contact. it now just says the phone number. this can be especially difficult when using group messaging. I can no longer confirm who is getting my text messages if I don't know their phone numbers by memory. has anybody else experienced this annoying bug? and to anyone who is a beta tester, has this issue been fixed in 13.4?
Hello all,
I want to continue Ken's recent post on the subject of the app store by asking a question about one of my annoying problems. This concerns the problem of not being able to see 'the wood for the trees'. Let me explain. Yesterday, I made a terrible mistake by deleting my 'Apps Gone Free' app and wanted to get it back as quickly as possible.
A quick question about Apple Books and iOS 16. It is a much less user-friendly experience now. Just a minor thing, but previously whilst you were reading, you could tap in the right spot or flick through, and it would tell you how many pages were left in your chapter. it doesn’t seem to do that now. Is that correct? If you had to do something or go out, or just weren’t sure how much, you could have a look at how many pages were left and decide whether you were just going to finish this chapter or whether you had better put your book down and go and do something.
One of the primary reasons I purchased the iPhone was for its voiceover feature. I love books so it reads books to me. I have discovered an issue, however, which I believe is linked to the iOS 9 update. I have a set of LG TonePro which work well with iOS 9 until I try to use voiceover. In the past, I would triple click the home screen and voiceover would work without a hitch. Now, voiceover, by default, plays through the iPhone's speakers and not through the headset. It seems linked to AirPlay. The TonePro is automatically set as the AirPlay destination until voiceover is turned on.
Hi everyone,
Is there another way of deleting apps from the home screen on iOS using VoiceOver instead of the rotor or not? I'm trying to uninstall the iAssociate 3 app and I can't seem to find the edit mode option in my rotor. How can I delete said app from my home screen using VoiceOver?
Cheers,
André
