Hello, Does anyone know of an iOS app which is accessible and offers TV listings? I used to use TV Guide, but when searching for a show, it just says, "No results," even though there are results shown on screen. When double tapping on the "No results," text, it sends you to a random listing for that show. It used to be accessible, but for the last few versions of the app, its been acting this way. Any alternatives that are available? Thanks, Santiago

Hello all,
So I decided that I wanted to learn a stringed instrument for once, so I have ordered a ukulele. I was wondering if there were any apps or services, either tailored for the visually impaired or descriptive enough, that would allow one to learn how to play the ukulele?
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA.

Hey,
I've started to be plagued by tinitus in my right ear, quite soft but at 11 khz, which is rather frustrating. I know a lot of people have to deal with this, especially as they age and nature takes it's course with hearing but, as we are blind, it does seem more of a presence and consuming.

Hello Apple Vis,
I've been wanting to work on getting my Ham radio license, and many of the lower cost radios kind of require a computer to program the radio. Does anyone know of any accessible software to programming a Ham radio?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, Does anyone know of an accessible app to learn American Sign Language, or at least one that has some signs in ASL? The ones I've seen so far are completely visual, and show people resembling the signs on screen. There are people who know ASL and are blind, so I was wondering if there's any app for iOS which may be able to help with this?

Hi, Are there any free accessible clock apps for iOS? I want something like an alarm clock, or simply a clock that dings every hour, it doesn't matter. My ZEITGIST Time Machine, (a little rectangular talking time device), tells time, however its just like back in the old days where if it gets off track you have to set the time as if you were using a wrist watch. But I want something that's accurate, so if there are any accessible hour/alarm clock apps out there, I would like to know which one is the best to use. Thanks.

I doubt there are, but I was just curious, since you hear about all of these mobile apps for learning keyboard, (sorry, piano since that's the only keyboard instrument that exists), or whatever. I'm currently focusing on keyboard because my left shoulder's having an issue that guitar really messes with at the moment. I tried Melodics because I got a free lesson or trial or something with my Akai Mini Play MK3. That was totally inaccessible, at least the iOS app was.

Are there any accessible live streaming apps that VoiceOver can cope with?
I know Periscope is one, but any others would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Just wanted to know if anyone knew of any accessible Remote Desktop programs (RDP) for IOS to remotely control a windows computer. This could be very useful in that a user could connect to a pc or mac and then virtually run all their programs such as Microsoft office. Also, they will have access to all of their computers documents. Frankly, I believe this could only work if an ios user turns off voiceover and uses their computer's screen reader such as Jaws or system access.

Are there any accessible telegram clients for ios? I used to use bright guide but, its not letting me login even though I input the correct code telegram sends me. Are there any other accessible telegram clients for ios? Simply put, the native telegram app is beyond unfriendly and its not accessible, things aren't labeled, voiceover just reads them as, logo other or, logo, ticket... Its just not a good experience to use.

HI All,

I've been using a Raspberry Pi with Kodi to stream audio to my amplifier along with a remote control application for iOS. However, I'm experiencingmore issues with Kodi lately, so that's why I'm considering a switch to MPD. I wonder, is there anyone with experiencewith MPDwho knows a decent MPD controller for iOS to start with?

Cheers,
Leonard

So I'm trying to tidy up the labeling of some buttons in an iOS app using VO's two-finger double-tap and hold gesture, but experiencing some quirky behaviour. Most of the time, I relabel a button, it updates instantly, and stays that way. All good! Sometimes, I'll relabel, and the change doesn't seem to have been saved. Then at random, VO will suddenly start using the new label.

Salam (Blessings) out there!
I want any alternative app than that of telegram's default, which is fully accessible with voiceover to use the telegram. Although the default app improves so much in terms of accessibility, yet there are a number of improvements which need to be addressed.
And till that time an alternative to do the job....
And of course, free app is more appreciated.... :)
