I've heard of some good apps like motion X Drive, but that requires a subscription and therefore not really afortable. I've also heard of navigon which I'm not sure if its 100% accessible or responsive as map quest because it needs a direct access to satelites as possible.

Hi,
The subject field says it all. What are some free RSS readers that give you push notifications?
Thanks.

There have been many requests for the official Facebook app to be the subject of our next campaign of the month.

As I don't use Facebook myself, I don't know what accessibility issues are present in their app. So, it would be really helpful if all you Facebook users out there could let me know exactly what needs to be fixed.

Thanks

David

Hello all,
I know the answers to this question would be subjective, but I am still curious to hear them.
With all the various TTS voices available in the VoiceDream app, which ones do you personally consider as the best ones for reading fiction books? For example, I like James from Neospeech, but I feel he is more suited for reading articles and webpages, not so much for the content where more expression is required.

What are your thoughts?
Best,
Victor

Hello, In notifications you can either have banners, badges, or sounds selected. Of course I want sounds, but but should I have banners and badges selected? I'm not sure what the differences are between banners and badges. If someone would shed some light on this for me I'd really appreciate it! Thank you.

So, I had a great navigation system of using apple maps with soundscape to get directions and more information about intersections coming up. Has anyone found a good Soundscape replacement? I haven't found anything else I like that is reliable sadly.

I am looking into different apps for visually impaired, and I would like to know your personal experience with the Envision AI app. What are the main pros and cons? Is the Find feature reliable?

I'm curious to know what you all think of the new Siri voices in iOS 14.5 and macOS 11.3.

I've tried each as my VoiceOver voice for at least some time, but so far none is sticking. It's definitely good to have more choices, but I keep coming back to Alex. For me, it's clarity (particularly at higher speech rates) just can't be beaten.

I guess that I am also adapted to the niggles and minor quirks with Alex, so the similar but different failings that come with all other voices always seem to grate.

Apple is actively developing a host of innovative accessibility features, complemented by enhancements to existing settings, all set to roll out later this year.
Adaptive Voice Shortcuts:
Enabling a seamless user experience, this upcoming feature empowers users to personalize their accessibility settings with a distinct spoken phrase. Crafted for convenience, Adaptive Voice Shortcuts grant users the freedom to create unique phrases, effortlessly toggling accessibility features like VoiceOver, Voice Control, Zoom, and more.

Hi all! a group of friends and I are starting a blog about blindness accessibility in school, among several other things. I'm using MarsEdit on my MacBook, and it is working very well, but some of the other members don't have access to a MacBook to use that program. Do any of you know of a different accessible IOS app that can be used for this? The site is hosted through wordpress, but the Wordpress app doesn't want to play nice with VoiceOver. It's almost worse to post on the main website. Thanks in advance!
