Whenever I go to the timeline in the official Twitter app for the Mac, VoiceOver focus always places me at the top. Is there a trick for landing on the last read tweet instead?

Thanks!

Hi all,
I checked the technical support documents on the Apple website,The document says to find the purchase record and hover the mouse pointer on the App that needs to be hidden, and then a button with more options will appear, there will be an option to hide App in the pop-up menu. But what should we VoiceOver users do?I use VO and the cursor to move to the App I want to hide, and then try to move the mouse pointer over, but there is no button for more options. How do you hide the app?

That’s right, I finally figured out how to give voiceover priority access to the CPU!
I did some digging to find out how to do this. I copied a command from a website that said it would give an app priority access to the CPU. The website suggested that your application was in /applications, but that’s not where voiceover is stored. It is stored in /system/library/coreservices/VoiceOver.app. You don’t even have to copy or paste any terminal commands, because I was nice enough to compile it in a nice little Automator app.

Greetings All,

I've scoured the web and all documentation I could find and I cannot for the life of me figure how to import audio files into GarageBand on Mac. There are some really brilliant guides on carrying out a variety of tasks in GarageBand, but this was either glazed over or I missed it.. Any help is tremendously appreciated. TIA!

I have two macs with the same mail accounts. It is possible to copy the signatures from one to another Mac computer without having to back everything up and restore the intire harddrives?

I have serious glaucoma. I use Apple desktop OSX 10.8 plus an iPhone 5. I need to make the fonts used in applications by Apple much darker (Contacts, and Calendar primarily). They supply no way to do that to my knowledge. Do you know of any or a person at Apple that I can contact? Most other Apps have ability to click bigger fonts.

Hello there,

There are many posts that discuss various aspects of emojis on this forum, but I can't find any posts that explain or discuss how to easily insert emojis in a text using VoiceOver on a Mac. That's why I'm writing this post here.

Hello
I'm convincing myself that the native mail app in macOS is better than the outlook app, but to do so, I haven't been able to keep as unread some emails that I need to keep that way to check them later.

But if I navigate through the table of mails I find that every time I move down or up each mail, the app marks it as read, and that is a problem, no matter if I mark it as unread once and other time.

after activating "check document now" under spelling/grammar in apps like Text-Edit or Ulysses, the first misspelled word is selected and the context menu shows spelling-related options such as ignore and learn spelling. However, there's no traditional dialog box interface with next/prev buttons. The context menu option is IMO more usable, but how then do I navigate to the next misspelling?

Hi, I'm going to sell my MacBook Air with Monterrey 12.0.1, but I'm having a nightmare trying to logout from my iCloud account from the preference panel.

The apple support says I have to go to my Apple ID settings and there I have to press where it says something like description (at least that is the translation from the Spanish support) but the thing is that I have more than half-an-hour trying to find that option and there is no way that voiceover finds something similar.

So I just got a Mac and discovered that a program I used to use on Windows is not entirely accessible on the Mac. It’s a screenwriting program and any text typed on the page is not read out. Is there a way to script something myself and make it accessible?

In the past, using a Windows PC, the dialog boxes and windows made a sound when they would open. For instance, if there was an error, the dialog box would make a nasty little "bonk" sound. My Mac doesn't do this. Is there a way for dialog boxes and windows to make a little noise when they open (and close)?
Note: I have a substantial amount of useful vision, so I'm not ready to go with full-on VoiceOver.

Hello,
I have a MacBook Air running the latest version of Pages. After some searching through menus, I was able to get the word count to show up onscreen. However, I could not figure out how to navigate to it using Voiceover. Is there a way to do this?
Thank you!

Yo guys!
I was wondering if any of you know how one could easily mark a line as a heading in documents in common Mac text editors.
I seem to remember there was a keyboard shortcut that would let you do just that after the line is selected, but now I can't remember it, neither find any mention of such a shortcut anywhere.
I'm not sure if this shortcut I'm thinking about was specific for Pages or Text Edit, or if it is more of a global function that will work in most text editors that supports headings as a valid text format.
