Hello all,

Are there any issues with running Amadeus on Mac OS Catalina? I use it a lot and, if there are issues with it, that would be reason for me not to upgrade until the issues are resolved.

I am trying to change the speed on a backing track. This has always worked in the past, but this particular track just vanishes when I try to change the speed. Is it an issue with file formats or something to do with DRM, perhaps? I bought the album from the iTunes store.

My name is Elijah Irwin , and I’m an Officer at the Malaysian Foundation for the Blind (MFB) . I’ve been a long-time user of Amadeus Pro , and it has been a core tool in my audio editing workflow as a blind professional who relies completely on VoiceOver on the Mac.

Recently, after upgrading to the 2024 M4 MacBook Pro running macOS 15 Sequoia , I’ve encountered several frustrating issues that make Amadeus Pro much harder to use — and I’m reaching out here in the hope that other users, or the developer himself, might be able to advise or help.

Any thoughts on how to jump to a section in amadeus Pro? I have uploaded some mp3's and need to do some cutting and splitting. I have tried to use Command G, where you insert time in the ##'##''### format, but the play head or audio after pressing space/play will not advance to the desired time.

I have a small project which is completely out of my comfort zone. I need to produce some audio consisting of voices, sound effects and background ambient noise, sort of like a radio play or the Graphic Audio productions. I can source the sound effects and bacground noise easily enough from a google search and my voice will do, but here's the thing: which software would be best to use as a complete newbie? Any pointers would be most appreciated.

Hi, I just discovered that if you have quicknav turned off in Amadeus Pro pro, pressing the up and down arrow keys will change the pitch and speed of the track. however, is there a way of for example if I raise the speed and pitch of the track with thee arrow keys, and then i paste it to another track, is there a way to have the track not revert to normal pitch and speed when pasting to a new file, but have it stay at the pitch and speed i left it with the arrow keys? thanks for any help.

I want to add a harmony vocal over top of a track I have recorded in amadeus pro so it has to play at the same time.

Hi all, I was just looking for some opinions on Amadeus. I recently started a podcast and heard a lot of great things about the app in terms of accessibility and functionality. Upon visiting the app store however, I noticed both a pro and lite versions. I was just wondering what the difference is (other than the price) and if Amadeus Lite offers enough features to do sound editing for a podcast. I'd just be looking at normalizing volume levels, inserting audio clips into a recording and cutting out segments of audio, I think.

OK, this is about to absolutely make me scream! I'm trying to do a basic search on the Amazon website with Safari on my Macbook Air with 11.2.3 Big Sur.

After doing the search and submitting the query, Safari goes absolutely haywire. I keep getting this stupid dynamically refreshing update with a close button to close an ad based off the product I did a key word search for. I've not even clicked on any of the results. This is just after searching, then navigating by heading to try looking at the results and their prices.

Has anybody else been having significant troubles with amazon.com on safari on mac lately? I'm using mac OS 15 Sequoya. I can't navigate by headings anymore, and voiceover searches don't work, it's awful. If anyone has been having issues, I urge you to contact amazon, although they probably don't care, lol. Also, if anyone is having issues with it, are there any work-arounds?

Recently I switched from Windows to the Mac and tried using Amazon Prime Video in Safari.

The Web-Player seems pretty inaccessibble. Is there a VoiceOver-Trick to get to use the player or am I just out of luck? Using Windows everything including changing the Audio-Track worked fine. So I was pretty baffled to experience such bad accessibility using it on the Mac.

It doesn't seem that the Amazon Video web player is even acknowledged by Voiceover. Are there any keystrokes for the player controls or the captions/audio descriptions? My husband would like to use closed captions and I would like to use the audio descriptions when we watch programs. In other Silverlight players, there are keyboard shortcuts, but I can't seem to find a player to focus on with the Amazon video site.

This might be a little optimistic, but does anyone on here use AWS Management Console with VoiceOver on their Mac? Yesterday I was using it fine, but then at the end of the day I tried logging in again an once it's logged in all I get is Safari Not Responding. Yesterday if I left it long enough it would eventually load what I think is an empty document.

I thought it was yet another Sonoma problem but it's also happening on my old iMac running Ventura.

SOmetimes, i need to do something on my mac, do not have sited assistance here and also when using be my eyes, the volunteer can not see the screen because the screen lite d does not allow the volunteer to see,
also, sometime, i should use mouse.
My question is that, can i find an app with volunteer that can use team viewer or any remote app to help?
SOmetimes, it is very very necessary for some issues.
ANy help will be highly appreciated.

I've enjoyed using my late 2013 macbook pro now for many years but it will soon be discontinued and the voiceover bugs are driving me crazy. As the subject says, I would like to install windows 10, completely removing OSX in order to use entire SSD. It has been installed through bootcamp a few years ago so I don't need a license key. I have a copy on a USB drive ready to go.

I know that Splitting videos needs some vision, if we need a professional video, but all i need, is a quick way that i can cut something from a long video and share it to a friend or even a student for a particular reason.
I tried the native IOS camera app, but i can not do that at all, so, what is the best and accessible way to do this?
am opening to any accessible solution, Wish it could be on mac, Ios, or even windows.

I’m having an issue with Google Docs. Regardless of whether I’m using Safari or Google Chrome, whenever I try to navigate by character and word using the command+arrows keys, VoiceOver announces “zero with space” before saying the character or word. This is incredibly distracting, and I’m looking for any workarounds.

Hello to all. I remamber sometime on this site that there was discussion of an app that would put the mac into an airplane like state, that is, shut off wifi, bluetooth etc. I'm about to take this connection where all the thing like that are not aloud. Can someone please remind me of said app?
