when I tried to update to the newest Mac update when it is finished and restarts it stil says it is there how can I get rid of it

Hi everyone,
is there a way to get the vo cursor to go back to the same thing it was on on the previous page? for example, if i am in a google search in safari, if i click on a link and then go back to the search page, the VO cursor resets to the top of the page. if the link i visited was quite far down, this can be quite annoying to go through all those options again. is there a way to prevent this?

I'm running an M1 Mac Mini with Mac OS 12.3.1 hooked up to a thunderbolt dock, and I've lost count of how many times Voiceover gets stuck in this infinite loop when the screen locks. Is there a way to keep this from happening? It's maddening to leave my work, only to come back to hear this thing yammering away.

OK, another stupid question....

Sometimes - OK, quite often - VoiceOver will be rabbiting away and I just can't make out what on Earth it is trying to say. My current solution is the trusty VO+Shift+C to copy the last phrase to clipboard, paste it into a text editor and then use cursor keys to figure out what it said.

This feels slightly less clumsy than using the rotor, which I pretty much never go near on the Mac.

Wondering how others deal with this. It usually happens for me when there's some popup on the screen, and VoiceOver plays a tone every 30 seconds. However I have not found a way to get to the popup with VO, only by blundering around with the mouse. This time not even that worked.

Any ideas?

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of iTunes the latest version besides apple.com. Cause everytime I try to download from apple.com. The web site won't download for me. Thank You all Very much for any help.

A long time ago I found that the apple music library was contained in CAF files and moved them all to a folder so I could use them for a podcast. I am not sure what happened to that folder but when I did a search for CAF files on my mac I was not able to find them. Can someone tell me how to get these files so I can place them in a folder and use them again? Thanks.

where can I find the sound area in the new Mac operating system update?

So I'm in TextEdit. I must have bumped a key because I was away from where I was last time. No problem, I'll use page up. I've used an iClever BK-10 and I'm now using an Apple Magic keyboard. In both cases, though fn-up is reported as page up, it doesn't seem to do anything. The cursor doesn't move. I've interacted with the text in the editor. Luckily home and end seem to work, but it's really weird that pgdn and pgup don't seem to move the cursor at all, anywhere that I've found so far.

Hi all. Well, long story short, is my hard drive has a ton of currupt backups. So, after finally giving up, I reinstalled the OS. However I didn't lose much, which is fine. I am confused now, why the phone won't sync. It says, insert song name, won't play because it's not able to play on this iphone. I have 132 songs on the phone, ninety three on the pc. I can't find any available downloads either. I did transfer purchases, so now it has all my apps, I'm just confused.

Recently I employed iTunes for listening huge mp3 files, something that I normally do in Quick Look, but I decided to give it a try and was very disappointed not being able to find a timeline slider. I know it's somewhere around but apart from mini player, there's only elapsed time indicator and a useless playback position item, which is defined by VO as a button that I'm unable to press.
Any help in finding a playback slider would be greatly appreciated :)

Where do I download a copy of Mac OS Catalina so I can use it to create a bootable USB drive? I tried getting it from the app store but when I press the get button it opens up system preferences. It does not want to just download it.

I have not managed to figure this out, but where do you stick the Voice Over focus in Amadeus Pro? Occasionally I shift VO's focus to other areas, but can never remember where to place the VO focus so I can regain normal keyboard playback controls and other items. For example, tab brings you back to the beginning of the track, but when I move the focus it navigates between the menu options. Same with arrow keys and similar.

I thought it'd be out by now, or at least a beta version...

I'm noticing that at least for me, the tab key doesn't do what it used to in most apps, and it's necessary to interact with elements a lot more in apps like Messages and Podcasts. I have changed the setting in Voiceover Utility to interact when using tab key, and I've toggled the tab key and keyboard behaviors with control- f1 and -f7. Is there anything else I may be missing?

I've been using iPhones since the 4s but only recently began to really use my Mac computers. Today I wanted to get Google Drive for the Mac. I first opened the App Store from the Apple menu and searched for "Google Drive". I found something called "Google Drive App" which wasn't from Google and wasn't free. I then used the link in the Applevis App directory for Google Drive to open iTunes and get Google Drive. This worked but I'm confused.

I am trying to figure out weather it would be easier to use MS Word 2016 or Pages?
Which is easier to navigate and format with Voice Over?

I know that when I used to use MS Word on a PC there was a shortcut for the ribbon, I have yet to find this on the Mac.
I am typing letters, as well as papers for school, and therefore I will need to do work cited and bibliographies.

I need to be able to create an accessible document so that it can be navigated using Headings with the Levels.
Is this possible in pages and word?
