Hi,
I'm wondering what people use to decrapify and declutter their mac's hard drives? Is there a service, or an app that can do this? I know as time goes by, you get a lot of cache and data that builds up. So I'm looking for any solutions?
Thanks
Hello!
Just wondering if there is any good alternative to the native Books app on a Mac?
The Book app is too cluttered in my opinion. On iDevices we have great Voice Dream Reader, so maybe there is something similar for a Mac?
I need the ability to read ebooks with my Braille display and listen audiobooks in different formats.
Any hint would be greatly appreciated.
While browsing the web, I often hear VoiceOver read an HTML element, then say the word "clickable". It's usually not on a button or link. More often, it's on static text. I've tried the various VoiceOver click equivalents, including VO+Space, VO+Shift+Space, and bringing the mouse pointer to the control and physically clicking the mouse. Most of the time, nothing happens.
what does every one like about read kit rss reader and why?
what does every one like about the Mac update so far.

Did Apple somehow change the interface to the Music app without me updating the software on my Mac?
I used to be able to search for an artist or album, and there were radio buttons that let me control whether I was searching Apple Music or my local library. Now, those radio buttons are gone, and I can only search my local Library. What did I do? I could search Apple Music just fine a couple of weeks ago. Anyone else running into this?
Literally this morning, it was very accessible. I could navigate my chat history by link, excessively activate the chat I wanted to go into, the chat history had its own heading, it will actually tell me when the response is complete or when it's doing something. Amongst a whole bunch of other things. But now it seems accessibility has taken a backseat. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Is it even an issue?
Before the latest upgrade, I was able to navigate textedit documents via paragraph and sentence using quick nav and the roter. It seems I can know longer do this. I did a google research and the updated voiceover guide says there is a way to do it with the trackpad, but this was not successful either. I am a uni student so being able to navigate documents quickly is vital! I'm in my final year too. Please help? Thanks in advance!
Hi all.
So on a fairly recent Double Tap podcast, a recommendation was made to get an HDMI adapter, one of those thingies that makes the Mac think you have a monitor. My Mac Mini M2 has been running fine, so far as i can tell, but I found articles like this.

I have googled my face off, and maybe this will reveal that I'm a terrible googler. I cannot for the life of me figure out how one is supposed to use something VO calls an interactive link and then helpfully gives nothing resembling a helpful hint. If you want to experience one, just toddle on over to Twitter's homepage. Go to help and search for something like direct messages or something.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Everybody!
These days I am educating myself on a variety of subjects, requiring me to read lengthy documents using VoiceOver, Text Edit and Pages on my 2022 Mac Studio . I hope you will share advice how I might more efficiently accomplish lots of screen reading reading. Smile.
First, is one document format better or worse than any other? Generally, I prefer dot txt files to allow me to search through the document for key phrases, but I'm certainly open to suggestions.
what is every ones face book messenger program that is free for the Mac?
Hi all, I just got DEVONthink to go 4 on iOS and I'm loving it. It's very accessible with a few little quirks, but I plan to get a Mac eventually and was wondering what everyone's experience is with the Mac app? thanks in advance.
what does it mean play user interface sounds in system preferences.

Hi,
My college recently started scanning books and sending me electronic copies, usually in .docx format. At first, it seemed like they would open and work in pages, but pages will not read certain things, or loses focus on the page that I'm reading. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to access these books on my Mac? is there a different app I should use, or a different file format? What would be the best way to read them?
Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
Brie,
