So I am having this issue on my mac where I can not leave the Dock unless I launch another app or switch off VoiceOver off then on. It is just you're stuck in the start menu in Windows terms. Any idea what is causing this?

Dear Sirs,
I have updated my mac from El capitan to High sierra.
When voiceover is active I cannot open any folder or file on desktop with double tap on trackpad. VO says open but nothing happens.
If I turn of voiceover, than double tap works fine.
Also double tap with VO enabled, works in finder and anywhere else, except on desktop.
Is there any solution for this annoying problem?

Hi,
Since I upgraded to the latest software version on my Macbook air M1 (Monterey 12.0.1), i am no longer able to play specific podcast episodes in the Apple Podcasts App. To reproduce this issue, do the following:
1. Open Podcasts app
2. Select "Shows" in the sidebar
3. Select a specific show
4. Navigate to the episodes heading and try to start the playback of one episode in this area
for me, this does not work at all. Can someone of you reproduce this issue?

Hello. I updated Pages on my Mac last night, and found that I can no longer select text. This is, needless to say, a real problem.
Be warned before updating!
I've written to [email protected], but I'm not hopeful that there's an easy solution.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there some way to go back to an earlier version of Pages? (No, I don't have a Time Machine backup -- foolishly.)

In OSX Sierra, is there a way to tell if caps lock is on when using VO? I press on the caps lock a few times and VO said caps lock on. I press the caps lock button again but VO is not saying caps lock off. So my questions are how do I turn caps lock on or off and how can I tell if it is on or off.
This happened on a MBP 2012 as well as on imac 2015. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi all. I'm wondering if the CAPTCHA bypass feature made it into the initial release of Mac OS Ventura, or am I just missing something? I wish to register on a website and try out this nifty feature, but a search within the new settings app turned up nothing. Just for the record, the website on which I wish to register is http://www.myfitnesspal.com . Last I checked there was a CAPTCHA on their registration form. Tia for anyone's assistance with this.

Hi all. has anyone else had this happen? You are doing soemthing when there's a checkbox that prooves "I'm not a robot." However it won't check. I've done the force click, I've checked it with out voice over on. Let me know if there's any work around.

I want to capture 10 internet audio streams all at the same time and record each into its own synchronized audio file using Audio Hijack. I'm recording 10 different live language interpretations for an upcoming event. AH will allow me to start the recording simultaneously and keep everything in synch.
I know how to launch multiple instances (copies) of the same browser. They show up as separate running apps for Audio Hijack source blocks, but they all are providing a sum of all running app instances.

Hi, I'm trying to use Audio Hijack Pro to capture some audio from Safari. Have not done this for ages and maybe it worked last time, can't remember for sure - but now it's saying to me Capturing audio from Safari requires the Instant On extra, which is not yet available for this system. I'm using a Macbook Pro from 2012, OS 10.11.6
Can anyone tell me what this message means? Any other way I can record some audio from Safari?

hi everyone i hope your all doing well. I have some questions about carbon copy cloner, firstly if you make a backup of your mac can you use that backup to restore your your system at a later time and how would you do this?.
seccondly when CCC backsup your mac does it automaticly backup the recovery partition?

I wonder if anyone else is seeing this type of behavior in MacOS Catalina.
I can pretty consistently reproduce a system crash and reboot if I have the Messages app open and put my computer into sleep mode. When I try to wake the computer later, the system reboots, and after I log in, the system sends an error report to Apple. The issue also occurs if the computer puts itself to sleep after the sleep timeout preference setting. I don't have to manually put the system to sleep in order to reproduce the issue.

With the release of Office for Mac 2016 there was a definite improvement in accessibility using Voiceover. In particular, I found that I was able to navigate spreadsheets in much the same way as I have always done using Windows and JAWS, with the co-ordinates and content of cells being read aloud as I navigated the sheet using the cursor keys. Admittedly, this capability was somewhat inconsistent, and was certainly impacted by the verbosity settings applied within Voiceover.

Apparently, I should be able to turn center stage on or off when in a video app such as FaceTime in the video menu; but I don't see that option. I can only select my camera/microphone; why is that? I also tried this with my iPhone's Continuity Camera, doesn't seem to help. Also, I have a supported model for this feature, MacBook Pro M4 Pro 14 inch. Any ideas? A voiceover bug?
