Any apps you guys love to use for viewing clipboard history on macOS? I’m looking for something simple—like Windows+V on a Mac—where you press a keyboard shortcut, the clipboard history appears, you choose one, hit return, and that’s it. A free and accessible alternative?

Hi all, subject is pretty accurate. I'm attempting to download some past recordings from NLS not books or magazines, but each time I go to their website I get a CloudFlare thing instead. This started happening a few days ago, and I just contacted support this morning. I received a prompt response which indicated that it could possibly be a virus. So I re-installed Bit Defender, but it's not finding anything. The support person also recommended I take a screen shot of the CloudFlare page that comes up, and I'm going to try and do that.

so this may be a strange question and the answer is probably obvious, but how exactly do you control which voices appear in the VoiceOver languages rotor with VO command shift and arrows?
I open the VoiceOver utility, choose speech, make sure the voices tab is selected, and scroll right to customise languages.

Hi, I am Ambro from Italy. I've bought recently an Imac 21,5, with 16 gb ram, core i7 and fusion drive. I see that sometimes pressing alt tab is slow, voiceover wait some second to read the content in the new Windows. Some else has this problem? And there is a solution? It depend because I have a fusion drive?

I read in comments on another post that the game code7 is accessible.
I bought it and downloaded it, and at first it seemed like it was going to work. I pressed control and v to activate the blind friendly mode like it said, and it read me the main menu. I went into the settings to try to change the TTS voice it used, and it stopped talking completely. I deleted and redownloaded the game from my Mac but the same thing keeps happening, It tells me to enable blind friendly mode, I do but then I only get the music and no voice.

Episode 0 wasn't so bad, but episode 1 is a nightmare.. Also with no available walkthroughs for the blind friendly mode its even more frustrating. How is this considered fun? Cool music, sound affects, and voice acting, but things like the solar panel and the science department are a headache waiting to happen.. Locations vanish, and the panel just doesn't make sense to me. Its like a bad joke as far as games go. I'm damn near to the point where I don't want to bother with the game anymore.

Hey does anyone know of any ways I could code SQL on Mak? I need to create a database for one of my assignments for my cource Bachelar of Information technology at JCU.
I have tried MYSQl, however it's not accessible.
Also, if the program could draw database models that would be great.

Hi all,
A while back when this game opened, the developer actually wanted to Skype with me to attempt to make a self-voicing interface for this game, where the mouse would be used and as you hover over things, audio queues would be given.
However, I really didn't like doing that entire thing by myself, where I was really the only one testing this interface. It was okay for me, but since most blind people would rather use the keyboard I kinda abandoned him and he blocked me from Skype.

I have been avidly reading the site for a month or so and can't thank the AppleVis team enough. David's post on OS and Windows commands is invaluable.
I am, however, curious about how many people have gone cold turkey to the Mac, how many dual boot so they can use some Windows programs, and how many still live in both the PC and Mac worlds.
I consider myself a fairly tech savvy person and I'm a heavy computer user.

Although my understanding is that one can set a given column and row as a header that Voiceover will announce in Numbers, this doesn't seem to be possible in Excel 2016. Has anyone had success with this? A spreadsheet is useless unless one knows which row and column one is in by its label.
In Excel, vo+R and +C don't work well: the row number is announced, but column just dings at me.

I assume this is something I changed accidentally, but I did just update to 26. Now in Mail, I get "column one, row one, column two, row one, message stuff" when in the table of messages. How do I stop it from reading row and column? I checked verbosity but I didn't see anything obvious.

am on mac os 13 latest version, even when i was on 12, Command accent is not working inside apps, it is working only in finder, but text edit, mail, anything, not working.
so, what did i do to disable this? and how can i enable this again to be able to cycle between open windows inside same app?

I have a question about a function in Pages on Mac.
Is there a command for voiceover to read a detailed format information? I tried Vo+T, and it only reads the font, font size, and alignment information; unlike on Windows, by pressing the JAWS key+F, JAWS would read more parts like spacing, text color, style, and including those elements that Vo+T would read on Mac as mentioned above.
I would be more than glad if anyone has the solution to this problem.

Ever since using my 2018 Mac mini tonight, I have been experiencing a bug where Command Tab doesn't switch between the different apps. I have tried the usual... restarted the computer, restarted Voiceover, etc. Any way of fixing this?
