Hi all. An artest released a few soungs in an acoustic format. When i clicked Itunes download, music opened. When i navigated the web content, it only showed my already purchased album by the same name. so my question is, if I clicked download, how will I know if the songs were downloaded successfully? I never saw the buy button, so i'm pretty sure they were free tracks. If anyone oculd help, i'd love that. Thanks so much.

Hi guys, finally took the leap and got a amax. Actually really enjoying using it :). Taking a little getting used to, but i'm muddling through :). I was wondering if any of you know how to check the time on a mac? or other status information such as battery level. A key combination would be good, but any method is good really. Thanks :).

Long time listener, first time poster.
I'm relatively new to owning a Mac. I've had everything else Apple for years, but got a Macbook back in March.
I've looked through a bunch of the introductory articles and tables of commands etc but was just sitting here on my Mac wanting to check the time. I'm used to my Windows PC with the jaws key f12 or whatever for NVDA, that's its own new adventure. But I was wondering if there's a command or shortcut for just hearing the time as opposed to going to the menu and going over to the time.

since updating to OSx 10.10.3, i have a problem concerning my Chess application which comes preloaded on the Mac
when i move a piece like the pawn or the knight, the piece move back to its position again
this happens for me and the computer
does anyone suffer from the same?
i don't know actually whether it's because of the update

Hi all, when using Chrome and now in bigsur in particular, why do I keep hearing chrome has new window, when just doing simple browsing? Driving me insane!! no new windows are appearing? I need Chrome access to do a course, as safari doesn't seem to word . `

Hi all, i recently got a MacBook pro 14in with m1 pro. i downloaded chrome but it crashes soon after lonch almost every time including after opening just 1 tab. I found that chrome works just fine on my other friends who own a mac, but when i turned on voiceover on their's chrome crashed a few minutes after opening it aswell. Anyone having the same issue? How do I fix this?

I am one of the few that opted for the Google Chromecast over the Apple TV, as it provides the easiest experience for me to play Netflix on any of my TV's with my current array of iOS devices. Additionally, there is no extra boxes around my TBV;s.
However, there is an issue that I am not sure if it is Chrome's or Netflix's issue. When playing movies off of my Mac OS 10.9 with Chrome 30.0.1599... I am unable to find any of the control buttons. After interacting with the window, Voice Over states that it is an empty window.

I recently heard about Chromevox, the Chrome browser extension that would read web content. I use Safari, which, for me, is fine for everyday use, but web apps like Google Drive are a pain. Would this web screenreader enable access to this type of content with Chrome if I installed it on my Mac?

Hi, so in college I have this network class. It's mainly windows here, I just happen to have a mac. I don't have much problems in general with Packet Tracer, it's just a very visual app first but once you read their accessibility guide it's quite good for what I have to do, using the workspace view. I was just wondering before trying this my self if the experience on mac with VO is any better or at least equal to that of Windows?

High all.
Recently I decided to perform a clean install of the latest version of Mac OS, that is, to go to Disc Utility, erase the hard drive and launch the installation process. I've done it a few times in the past, so it seemed like no problem at all. However it looks like it is no longer possible to do that, as the "erase" option in Disc Utility is not available. Does that mean that performing a clean install has become more clunky in High Sierra, or there is a simple workaround?

I have a Mac running Catalina. I already have virus protection, but I want to clean out junk and delete unwanted apps. Is there something hidden in the computer that will do that? Or, is there an app out there that doesn't include virus protection?

yesterday i removed more than 150 GB from my MAc hd, to free up space,
but i did not find the free space available, i just free up like 20 Gb or something, i tried asking gemini but all solutions did not work.
is there an app or something to tell me what is the thing that takes all this space?
i empty my trash, and i used the clean my mac app, and everything still the same.
am using time machine,

My Mac OS drive is out of space, and i need to remove the unneeded things, it told me that photos take 20Gb, but there is no way to delete them,
first of all, i do not think that i stored any photos on my Mac Os drive, so, how is that? and, how can i clean it? all my photos are outside of my Mac OS at all,

I remember I have once located the clear all button in the past but now I have no idea where is it located.
So was wondering how do I find it?

I recently updated my mac to the latest software a few days ago, and since then, while i'm navigating websites, I notice a clicking sound sometimes when VoiceOver reads a link. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a way to turn it off?
