Hello! Is there any accessible podcast client for mac? I downloaded q-cast but when I try to launch it it doesn't open. Is there any salution for that or I have to search for another client?

I was wondering if there is any way to go to the start of a take, instead of the region, in Logic. Sometimes there are instances where a take starts, let’s say, at bar 6 and ends at bar 7, while the region’s length goes from bar 1 to bar 16, since the region length is always based on the comp or the longest take in that region.

1. Open a TextEdit document.
2. Write few word, you can also open already existing document.
3. With the Arrow QuickNav on, select a word or a character with the shift+left or right arrow.
4. The Arrow QUickNav will stay activated, but its functionality is lost. In order to restore its functionality, you need to deactivate it and reactivate it again.
Anyone going through this?

Hello everyone, I hope you all are staying safe and healthy. I have changed the grouping behavior so VO will ignore groups. This seems to work except when in the sidebar of the finder window. I need to interact with the table to select the particular folder I want and then I am able to use the down arrow key to view the list of available items. Is this a bug or is this to be expected?

Is anyone having this bug? When I go to check how much space is on my hard-drive, voice over says that I have 141 TB left. I know that taht is not right. When I go to disk utility, it actually says how much space I have. I was wondering if this is just a bug in 10.0.3? Please let me know. Thanks and have a good day.

Hi all. I know i've been posting a lot lately. I know it's not possible to turn off auto complete, which would be a godsend. but after the address field, there's things like, show bookmarks, and I have apple button, news menu button, youtube button, wickipedia I think, and a few others, before I tab all the way over to the HTML content. Is there any way to declutter, if that's a word allof this? I find it slightly annoying to go past all of this. If there isn't no need to respond. thanks for reading.

I am looking for a program that can raise the volume on a few tracks I have. The volume by default is a bit weak and would like to find a program that can fix this does anyone know of any?

I've recently started using Tweetbot on iOS (which has some minor issues, but none that are deal breakers for me), and was wondering if anybody has any recent experience of the Mac version?
Unlike the iOS app, there is no trial available, and I don't want to throw down $$$s on an app only to find that it's unusable.

hi all, is winclone standard usable to us as blind users, to help us back up our bootcamp partitions, for those who wish to dual boot? i would want the standard version, to configure bootcamp on my existing macbook air before i upgrade to a higher capacity version. my questions are when i want to use the software is everything labelled? second if i wish to have a bigger partition than that i am currently using for bootcamp at present, when i restore to a new machine is this possible? thanks, Will

I have been offered a job that would start in the next several weeks and the company I will be working for uses Worldspan softwear to book things such as flights, cruises and hotels. We are not sure how it will work with VoiceOver or if it will even work on my Mac. I will be working from home so the only access to a computer I have is my Mac. Does anyone know if Worldspan works with the Mac and if so if it works with VoiceOver? If it won't work with my machine I may have to turn down the job.

I haven't used Skype for ages, but I downloaded it today on my Mac to be ready for an important Skype meeting coming up this monday.
Last time I used Skype for Mac, I seem to remember that it was fully accessible with VO, but now I can't access anything from the main window. The only thing VO can access is the 3 buttons for Close, Minimize and Full screen.

I just recently purchased a Mac running snow leopard 10.6.8 and I'm noticing a problem when entering my Apple id in the app store or iTunes store. When I enter my information and press the login button, I am placed in the same window and told to enter my password followed by the verification code shown on my other devices. I've experienced this before on the Apple website and there was an option to have the code texted to me or have Apple call me with an automated message of it. I do not have an Apple device for the code to show up on?

i've been trying to migrate to Mac OS for the past few weeks (have been using windows for years) and ran into a deal breaking issue
I am a full-time software developer and wasn't sure about the general accessibility of some IDES/Editors i'm used to using in windows but I managed to get IntelliJ idea working with voiceover and also visual studio code to some extent...
The only thing keeping me from moving to Mac OS at this stage is voiceover's bad performance with Safari.

I'm hoping someone can help me with this annoying issue I'm having with the books app on my mac.
Whenever I try to listen to my audiobook, it says this computer is not authorized. I even checked the settings and it *is* authorized.
Does anyone know how to fix this? There's no reason I shouldn't also be able to listen to my book on my computer.

Alright, since I usually wait until the X.1 version of a new iOS to be released before updating my iPhone, and since my new Apple Watch Series 6 arrived today, I thought I would make an encrypted backup of my phone to my Mac, restore the phone, do a clean install of iOS 14.0.1 and restore my phone from my previous backup. Like I said, I usually wait until version x.1 is out before updating, but figured that I probably had to update in order to setup my new watch, which was on Watch OS 7.

I am trying to install Windows 11 on M1 Mac and I am stuck at the screen where I connection to internet is required to proceed. I remember there is a an option to skip connection and continue with limited features or some similar phrase. The issue here is that I can not find this option, I try to navigate through running windows using alt+Tab, Narrator announces Network Connection Flow Window only. I am sure there is a separate window where I can skip the connection for the time being still I am unable to access it. Any idea?

Well, I upgraded to Monterey this morning only to discover that VoiceOver has problems reading Apple Books. Where formerly it would read continuously and turn pages as it read, it now reads one page only and stops, necessitating manually forwarding the page. This is inconvenient and I hope they fix it.
