Hi all
Some of you have been reading other posts from me regarding how to manage some basic tasks on my almost new 2019 MacBook Air.
The topic today is to ask if it is common to have my MacBook Air frozen when I do certain tasks that in my 2017 average PC have never happened.

Recently, I needed to make a recording in English and wanted to add several English voices to the rotor on my Mac. When I had only one additional voice added, everything worked fine — I could switch between the two VoiceOver voices without any issues.
However, when I added several voices in English, I suddenly couldn’t switch between them at all.

Do you experience the same thing? I seem to remember that it used to be possible to add multiple voices to the rotor — or maybe I’m just misremembering?
My current system version is macOS 26.0.1.

I've been using a MacBook Air exclusively since Jan 23 after 20 years of non-stop Windows! I'm a happier computer user than I was before, that's for sure. But there's one really useful trick I used to do in Windows Explorer, I haven't found a way to do on my Mac. I used to be able to create Internet Shortcuts: little files that just held a URL & could be saved in my directories; & I could then go straight to that web page just by opening that shortcut. Is there a way to do the same thing in IOS & if so how?

Hi all. I know that control option space brings up the imogee pallet, and i went ot use it to put on facebook. However is there an easier way then what I did? I interacted with the first table, got down to imogee, then went into the second, interacted, clicked objects, then after the virtical splitter I voice over space on the one i wanted, it said confirm so I did it again. I think Idid it three times, then used the keys to go to the close button and click it. see why I think there's an easier way? :) I'd appreciate any help. Thanks, Siobhan

Hello all.
I first thought to continue my last thread about apple mail issues, but I thought it might not be a bug afterall and I am doing something wrong, hense this query.
So I have 3 email accounts and I want to setup all the 3 where the inbox does not mix up all mails from the 3 inboxes.
Same for sent or draft etc.
So let's say I focus on one email and expand it using say right arrow. Then all the sub folders like inbox, sent etc for that email shown be shown. Is this possible?

Hello all,
I have restarted to use the Mac recently, after 3 years and I have a quick question for you.
I'm able to use the trackpad with no issues for almost all commands that I need, but don't remember if their is a way to open the context menu with it like we can usually do with the CTRL+Shift+M command.
If no default command exist, I think it is possible to assign custom gestures, but does this particular command is possible to add and if yes does somebody know how I can creat it?
Thanks,
Simon

Hi Gang,

Is it possible for me to use 2 Apple keyboards on my Mac simultaneously? They can both be bluetooth connected or one can be cable connected. I'd like to be able to have one keyboard at my midi piano and the other at my Mac to use recording software such as Logic Pro X.

Thbank you! smile

Hi all,

I have recently started a website that includes video content, and these videos have been edited by my partner in iMovie on my Mac. The videos have been exported to MP4 once we have finished editing them so they are now their own file completely independent of iMovie, however my iMovie library file is now over 30GB in size and will only keep growing larger the more videos we record.

I've noticed odd behavior in the Mac Mail app and wanted people's opinion on whether this is a bug that I should report. Note that in VO Utility, I have "Synchronize keyboard focus and VoiceOver cursor" selected. This is the default.

Hi all, streight down the middle question. I was wondering is Voiceover accessible with Apple's Keynote app for the Mac platform. By this I mean can we create a presentation independently from the beginning and create slides our selves, put text in them etc. I don't know nothing about Keynote from using it with VO because I have never messed with that app which is why I'm asking for those who are experienced in this area to tell me if it can be done or not. I am running Moountain Lion V8.2 and Keynote V5.2 if this is of any help. Thank you and I look forward to hearing your comments.

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if Libre Office works well and is easy to use with voiceOver on Mac?
Also, it costs €10 in the App Store, which is still cheap, but appears to be free on the website. What's the deal with that? Is it worth my time and potentially money?
Cheers,
Dave

Hello everybody,
I have recently changed my lap top for a new MacBook pro. I am having problems with lotus notes version 9 because voiceover cannot read me the e-mails. Do you know if IBM LOTUS NOTES is accessible?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I discovered ios accessability several months ago.. Using an iphone 8 has led to some online activity for the first time. There are limitations to using a phone and Ihave been considering a Macbook air. Are these fully accessable for someone with no usable sight? Using the iphone voiceover often loses focus leaving me unable to progress as I am continuously skipping around a page etc. Would a laptop resolve this? I would greatly appreciate peoples thoughts and experiences.

Hello there. I have the dream to be a DJ and make my own dance music, and add vocals. I heard Melodyne is a fantastic program for fine-tuning vocals. But I haven't had much luck with finding out whether it's accessible with VoiceOver or not. Has anyone ever tested it out? And if so, what was your experience like with it? Thanks. Heather

Hi,
I'll be taking a math course next semester, and One of the main resources that we will be using is Pearson's my math lab. Through my research on it, I was only able to find information about jaws accessibility. Has anyone used this website for a math class before that can comment on it's accessibility? I've been using the 2 week free trial but I can't seem to figure much out and was hoping I was just missing something.
Thanks for any help!
