When I have vo on the mac speeker and music on a bt speeker I can't change vo volume. Sometimes the volume buttons on the mac do nothing and sometimes they change the music volume but there is no way to change the vo volume. I can change the music volume with the buttons on the bt speeker and sometimes with the mac buttons but if I want to change the vo volume I have to disconnect the bt speeker first. Also even when I have vo on the mac speeker the vo voice comes out of the mac like it's supposed to but the vo sounds come out of the bt speeker.

I just got my first Mac yesterday, and I am not an experienced Mac user. I have found the Mac very easy to learn despite my lack of knowledge. I went through the QuickStart Tutorial and help, and the only thing I can't seem to find out how to do is how to find out the battery status, network status, and the date and time. I know that on PC's, there is a System Tray, but I'm not sure about the Mac. Any help or resources are appreciated. Thank you,

Hi all, here's my problem. A tech came out and got me to find, the five gig netowrk. My phone seems to say on it no problem. My mac however, seems to default back to the 2.4 ghz one. Does anyone know how i can get it connected and stay that way? As of this post, it's on 2.4 when just after showing the phone once, it stays on fifve gigs. I'd appreciate any help as this is kind of weird. Thanks.

I need some help with VoiceOver for a blind student if anyone can.
I managed to set voiceover to be active on the login screen and this worked well as long as you only log off or let the mac sleep, however as soon as you shutdown, then restart, the login screen returns to normal, without voice over! This is really annoying as my student needs to be able to login indepentantly from shut down as well as sleep state, can anyone help please?

I am using a 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro running the latest official version of MacOS. I've noticed a weird behavior that occurs sometimes when I am reading text with Voiceover. Sometimes when listening to a section of text, the volume at which Voiceover speaks gradually decreases (over about 2 seconds), then returns to the original volume I was listening at. this has occurred both when listening to speech on my Mac's built-in speakers and my AirPods. Does anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?

after I took a photo through a webcam on a mac in the telegram application, I did not find a way to delete this photo (despite the fact that I deleted the photo from the chat)

I recently installed TinTin++ using the terminal on my Mac. I can't find the direcory it was installed to however. When I do a ls command at the prompt I see a few things but I cannot find tintin++. Can anyone tell me how I can find the directory it was installed to? Oh I installed it using homebrew. My mac is a late 2015 Macbook air.

I got my Mac in September but am really not using it to it's full potential. I've read a ton of books and articles but I learn best when working with another human.
I'm looking to hire someone to provide training on some functions in Pages and Keynote to start and then I'll likely want to move on to some of the photo and movie-making apps. I would like to work either via Skipe or phone. I have a flexible schedule.

I'm a windows user and tried a mac for a month about 3 or so years ago and just didn't find it snappy.
A lot of people on here are saying that apple doesn't seam to care much about its customers and I'd agree when reading the issues with voiceover on the mac so I'm wondering, long time mac users; have you considered changing OS's or is it like windows for me now, something you couldn't imagine doing?

I have a 2015 MacBook Pro, 13 inch, running Catalina. I have a mixing board which connects to my Mac via USB. I haven't used it in a while. Today, I connected it and tried to record something but the Mac will not use it as a audio input. I went into my sound settings, went to the input tab, interacted with the table, went to the USB audio codac, and performed a VO space on it to select it. When I uninteracted with the table and VO right from there, it appeared as though it was in fact selected as the current sound source.
