Hello everyone,
While I'm not a Main Stage expert, I've been trying to use it as an alternative to Logic Pro for live concerts. I was using it on Ventura, and although it wasn't fully accessible, I could at least create new patches, add channel strips, and change channel plugin effects.
After upgrading to macOS 14, something terrible happened. VoiceOver can't read the instrument controls at all, making it impossible to change libraries, add effects, or use any plugins.
Hello,
just a little post to inform you that mainstage, the app used for playing music live with a midi keyboard has a quite good accessibility builtin.
Hello,
is there someone that was able to assign a hardware control of his keyboard to a screen control?
Suppose you have a hardware control on your keyboard called butrton1, and you want to assign it to the "set current patch" function of manstage.
I have several problems in the map assignments inspector with voiceover, do you have some solutions?
Dear Apple Customer Support,
I am writing to report a critical accessibility issue I am experiencing after upgrading to macOS Ventura yesterday. As a user of VoiceOver with both Arabic and English languages, I have discovered a significant bug impacting the functionality of VoiceOver with Arabic text.
I'm sorry but I had to post this. Basically I was browsing on github in an issue thread. After typing a comment, I pressed tab and assumed quick nav (full) to work again normally. I have allow typing in text field enabled but I tried both and it gave the same result. Basically with any of the 3 mode of quick nav it was just not working at all even after rebooting VO. Tried in standard grouping as well. When I changed the site to applevis on the same tab it started working again. Sorry but this feature is much more of a headache than any useful thing. I almost feel safer with snr.
Hi, let me know what you think about that.
FB16781468, suggestion
Investigating some stuff related to xCode ... how one can make voiceover speak what is under the mouse cursor?
Thanks!!
The USB is not seen as a booting device when I tried to burn ISO to USB using Disk Utility app on Mojave. Any other suggestions available?
Hi everyone hope you're doing well and staying safe, a big thank you to everyone that helped me with my last post. Basically I'm totally blind running macOS Ventura on a 2019 MacBook Pro. I would like to record a basic video with my max WebCam, what programs can I use for this please? I've heard of something called central head which is meant to help position your face in the cameras view but I've been unable to find the program if anybody has any good advice or tips for recording videos with the MacBook Pro they would be very much appreciated.
Hello, how do I go about making a bootable dvd of El Capitain for installation. I want to do a clean install and I want to put it on a dvd to keep it for future use. How do I go about building this disc. Thanks very much.
Hi
I'm curious if there is a way to make something equivalent to the option+click that, among other things, enables you to change audio devices from the volume menu, using VoiceOver? Routing the mouse cursor to the item in question, and then doing the option+click works fine, but I haven't found a way to do it completely from the keyboard.
VO+CMD+space, which shows the actions menu for an item, doesn't let me do it either.
Hi all,
It's joseph here. I was wondering if it's still possible to make facetime and facetime audio calls directly from the messages app? I know they had that going on in OS X 10.9 or something, but I don't know if that functionality is still there.
Thanks,
Joseph
Hello applevis. I am hoping for your expertise or advice.
Greetings. Can you please tell me what programs adapted for working with voice-over are used by blind musicians today for recording, editing audio, virtual musical instruments?
Hello.
I recently got Djay Pro for my Mac, and was told you have to have a premium account with Spotify to use the Spotify integration. One of the things I'd like to do with it, is to make playlists, which I know could be very helpful when DJing for a party. Have any of you had experience with doing that? If so, is it accessible with VoiceOver? Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Heather (DJ Hey)
Hi,
I'm trying to change the cursor on my Mac to where it follows as I type in stead of having it where I go to the letter before the one I want and pressing delete. I also noticed sometimes voiceover won't read the last letter or punctuation I put and if theirs a new line it will jump over it and read the letter on the new line. Is their a fix for it?
