Has anyone found a way to use a Mac with voiceover in a Citrix environment? I presume the answer is "not a chance" but I'm hoping that's wrong.

ciao a tutti, how do you highlight text in iBooks? it is easy enough on the IOS side, but for the life of me i couldn't find a way to do it in iBooks app for mac.

Sometimes when I am using DownArrow to read text line-by-line in Safari, and the line is long enough, VoiceOver does not speak the last character of the line. I have noticed this occasionally in Mail, too. If I examine the ends of those lines, the last characters are there. Any time I read chunks of text by using VO+RightArrow, VoiceOver reads all of the text. How can I fix this issue?

Hi. The help for VO+J says that it makes VO jump to the linked item. How do you know which item is linked or how can you find out which item is linked?

I'm wondering if this is user error because I am an inexperienced Mac user. Is it possible that I turned something on that causes this? The symptom is that I can be reading VoiceOver Help after pressing VO+SHIFT+QuestionMarkk, and when I want to navigate back to the Table of Contents table to choose a new topic, instead of VoiceOver jumping to the next or previous chunk of information, the app changes to the next or previous page. How can I figure out what is going wrong with this. Right now, if I turn VoiceOver off and back on again, it stops happening.

I just erased my MacBook Air 2017 and it’s now reinstalling macOS but
My school installed the device management software onto my computer
The disc has been erased but will fragments still remain in the reinstallation process that might block the continuation of the reinstallation that my MacBook useless

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any of you would have an idea on how to fix a problem I just discovered.
I used the VoiceOver script to see my battery status by pressing option+B, but I also have my battery displayed in my menu bar.
Today, while charging my MacBook Air, I pressed Option+B, and it showed my battery was at 96%. Then, for some reason, I went over to the menu bar and it showed that my battery was at 100%.
Is there a way I can fix this? I've never seen this kind of inconsistency before.

as I mentioned in another topic, I recently got a new MacBook air M1. When booting it, I have the problem more often that VoiceOver just doesn't accept any commands anymore. So I do not get into the login window at all. If I turn VoiceOver off and on again, I can log in to my account normally. Does anyone else have this problem?

About my system: MacBook Air M1 with macOS Big Sur 11.2.1

My Mac is silent. My wife says it is on, but is showing a black screen. I believe I left it on for a few days and forgot to turn it off. I have it plugged in now. I found instructions from Apple Support that say to hold down the Start button for about ten seconds, then, because this Mac is an Intel Mac, press, I believe, Command-Shift-R, then choose some other options. Anyway, does anyone have advice about how to proceed?

I've had a 13 inch m2 MacBook Air for about a year and a half now. But it's not the right computer for me.
I've seen a lot of people lately on here not happy with VoiceOver on the Mac, so I thought I would allow my MacBook one last good deed before I part ways with what is definitely a promising and powerful laptop.
Let's start with VoiceOver, it appears to have a mind of its own.
It becomes increasingly unstable with every new macOS update, and new bugs are always appearing.

Using high sierra, only just noticed this problem as most of the time are use an external keyboard. The right half of my MacBook Pro’s keyboard seems to be behaving as if it’s a numpad. I cannot type letters with it and when I switch keyboard help on and press, for example, “m”, VO says “zero“.

Does anyone know anything about this? I’m hoping there is a setting somewhere I can alter and go back to being able to use my keyboard as a proper keyboard. It behaves properly before logon.

Hello folks. I am just wondering if any of you have bought the MacBook neo, and how does it run with voiceover? I've always wanted to give Mac OS a shot, coming from Windows, and Apple has finally made an affordable laptop. I am just concerned that voiceover may lag or be less responsive on a low spec device. From what I know about it, it has a similar processor to the one in the iPhone 16 pro, so it should run fine, but I don't know what effect Mac OS has on it.

hi, I am using a mbp pro 2018 with bootcamp win 10. the beginning of all audio starts out with a drop out of sorts and I am wondering if anyone else is experience this? if you can give me advise on how to fix I'd appreciate it. thanks.

I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions on a way this issue can be resolved. I have a 13-inch Macbook Pro May 2012 I Boot Camped Windows onto. I got Windows installed successfully, however I can't get the Boot Camp drivers to install. I am being given an error message that says this version of Boot Camp is not intended for this computer model. Anyone have any thoughts?

I am considering replacing my MacBook Pro HD with an SD.
1. Can I replace it my self as a blind person who can not see instructive markings or labels?
2. Will I notice any improvement in performance, power consumption and consequently better bootcamp support?
3. Can anyone recommend free cloning app?
4. How to replace the HD without voiding the warranty?
5. Finally, can anyone recommend certain brand available on Amazon for example?

When I use my M4 Pro MacBook Pro and don’t move the lid for an hour or two, the hinge feels a bit tighter than usual and makes a subtle click before it moves. But after that, it works normally again. Is it normal for the lid to get a little stiff if it hasn’t been moved in a while?

My questions are regarding the MacBook Pro With TouchBar. How can I do a keystroke or shortcut for example Function Key 1 + Alt and K? I mean what are the steps after you press the Function Key in the row of the Space bar Etc? Does will Voiceover read the function keys in the Touwhch Bar keys directly?
