Hello all. I'm trying to read tables that are appearing in a word document in word for mac. I've also tried to open the document in pages and when I interact with the tables, I'm not able to move around in them. However, if I open the file in TextEdit, everything reads just fine. Any ideas?

The Subject pretty much says it all. I have used wineskin to create the rapper for the game and I have got speech installed, supposidly, but when I open it I don't hear any speech. What could I do to fix this, is there any other packages I should install? Thanks.

Hi,
I just bought Windows 10 and am trying to install it on my MacBook Pro with Fusion 8 Pro. I cannot for the life of me find the quick install option that lets you enter the product key so you don't need sighted help during setup. Has anybody found this option for Windows 10? I am sure Windows 7 had it. I have a sighted person to help me, but I just love the quick install.

Hi.
I've just purchased djay Pro for the mac.
I'm very happy with it so far.
And it must be the most accessible DJ app for those who are totally blind, like I am.
But now, I'm having a problem with recording my mixes.
When I press command + R, VO says start recording stop recording.
The next time I press that command, VO says the same.
Does that mean this function is not working, perhaps due to some settings?
Or does VO say the same , thing whether the recording is either started or stopped?

Hi. I am trying to set up a network drive on my Mac so that other devices on my network can access files on my Mac. I turned on file sharing and selected the folders I wanted shaired and set up the computer name and all that. I also checked a box that had something to do with shairing with windows computers. Then, I whent over to the Apex which is what I am trying to access the Mac's files from and whent to network drive/brows entire network and typed my computer name into the network server field. I keep getting a can not find network resource message. Help please?

I've read quite a bit here on the forum about how different members write and edit text on the Mac, and about the possibilities and challenges involved. My own needs aren't extreme, but I often produce documents with simple formatting — different heading levels, italics, bold, paragraphs and so on. At the moment I sometimes use Pages, and sometimes I write in Markdown and convert to .docx with Pandoc before continuing in Pages.

Does anyone know how I can turn off notifications that look like this?: "Login Items, Background Items Added, Software from “VMware, Inc.” added items that can run in the background. You can manage this in Login Items Settings."?
I get a ton of them every time I boot my mac or open certain programs, and clearing all notifications in notification center doesn't take them away either.

When an email message arrives on my Mac, I get a chime. I love the chime. The chime is great.
The problem occurs about four seconds later. VoiceOver reads me a summary of the email message. Is there a way to turn this off?

Hi all, I'm using Zoom on mac, and Zoom announces messages with it's own generic voice. This is great in most cases, however it can be distracting if I am in a meeting and it says "You're internet connection is unstable." Does anyone know how to turn this off?

Hi. I love this game on the Mac, but I'm confused about making turns. Do you turn by tapping the left- or right-arrow keys once, or do you hold them down until the chime sounds? It seems that no matter which method I use, I crash into things and get kicked out of Galactic Mode. TIA :-)

BELIEVE ME! I'M NOT SHOUTING. MY CAPS LOCK KEY IS STUCK ON EVEN THOUGH IT IS SET AS THE VO KEY. HOW DO I UNSTICK IT?
MY SPEECH IS AT A HIGHER PITCH WHEN I TYPE, AND EACH LETTER PRODUCES A BLIP SOUND. SO, IF IT'S NOT THE CAPS LOCK, WHAT COULD IT BE?

Hi everyone. I have cancelled my ITunes Match subscription, however I am trying to find out how to get it to stop working. In older versions of ITunes, there was a way to turn off ITunes Match. However, I can't figure out how to do it in ITunes 12. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi everyone. I'm wondering how to do this on the Mac? I looked through the notification options in System Preferences but didn't find anything. We have been trying hard to get my neighbor across the hall to stop thinking all these negative thoughts and doing negative self-talk. He comes over and hangs out with me constantly, and I don't want these notifications anymore. They're mainly from CNN. Safari Preferences doesn't seem to have it either.

Hi all. I am sorry to keep coming to you everytime I run in to a problem with the Mac. But, this time. I am needing help turning off receiving calls on the Mac. I have Windows on a VM and I was playing swamp yesterday and because someone called me and the notification was in the way while I was running back to the SZ, the zombies killed me. I couldn't do anything about it. So, If anyone could help me to turn off call notifications, That would be very much appreciated!!!
