I can't delete any tweets in Nightowl - the option to delete them is dimmed in the menu. Can anyone tell me why this might be? I'm only just really starting to use Nightowl so may be missing something obvious…?

Mac Mini, Yosemite updated to most current.
The read all command only seems to read what is visible on the screen. When it works at all.

Hello Applevis members
Recently I have updated to macOS 26
But my current issue I'm facing with it is that I'm unable to locate the delete button in WhatsApp as if it's totally not visible for voice over.
The only way is to delete the message with my iPhone WhatsApp app
Is anybody else also experiencing this issue as it's quite annoying.

Hello, I have a problem getting into my mac at the present time. I seem to have misplaced my password I use to unlock it, and after three attempts, the popup appears where it asks if I want to reset it. I reset it using my apple ID, and enter a new password, but that password doesn't work on the login screen. I have attempted it multiple times so typos are out of the question, and I got no errors of any kind when resetting. Is there anything I can do here?

Hello to all. I use a hotmail account and I recently purchased Mboxmail. For the past 2 weeks or so I have not been able to send mail. I can receive it without any problems. So now whenever I need to reply to mail I need to use the website or my iPhone. I have the default settings for Mboxmail on the mac mail client. I have done everything you could think of. uninstalled the Mboxmail app, cleared out all the settings and cleared out the mail settings as well. I even reinstalled my whole OS at one point and still no luck. And It's very hard to contact the Mboxmail company.

I'm having a really weird problem with my Mac, and am wondering if anyone can help. I try to set the display sleep time (as it's currently set to 1 minute and that's way too short for my liking), but after I close system preferences, it totally resets to the previous value. Hi,
I have recently purchased a Macbook Air running Yosemite.
I wish to allow VoiceOver to be controlled by AppleScript. When checking the relevant check box in the VoiceOver utility and entering the correct iCloud password, the check box remains unchecked.
I have attempted to toggle the state of the checkbox with Voiceover disabled. i have also tried adding applications including script Editor, Autimator and VoiceOver to the allowed list of apps under privacy but to no avail.

So far the journey into Voice Over has been harder than I expected. I am hoping that using gestures will simplify this journey.
I have read the documentation online and I have tried pressing the Voice Over keys and turning the imaginary knob to the right but gestures are not turning on. I cannot tap the trackpad with 3 fingers to silence the Voice Over man and all the other gestures I have tried do not work either.
Any suggestions, help, or advice is greatly appreciated.

I started using my MacBook yesterday, and I’ve already encountered the weirdest bug so far. When I visit any post on AppleVis using Safari on my Mac, I can't see the comments section or make comments. I checked everything—I’m not in Reader View or anything—yet the comments section is still not visible. There's a feature called "Hide Distractions on Safari," but I don't think it's enabled either.

I would like to thank David Woodbridge for answering my question about downloading podcasts on the Mac. Unfortunately I have another question for you guys. I recently just installed the Yorufukurou app. I apologize for the misspelling. However, when I deleted the app from my Mac to uninstall it the app store is still showing me that there is still an update available for said app. What can I do to stop this?

So, I was just wondering how well, if at all things like universal control and sidecar work with voiceover. Do these features work at all?
One thing I would love to see if it's not available in some way, shape or form, would be the ability to use Braille Screen Input to enter text on the mac. While not ideal in all situations, it might be a nice backup should keys start to fail on the butterfly keyboard. My 2018 macbook air comes in today, and I'm so excited, but still a bit nervous about the butterfly keyboard.

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and staying safe. When I've downloaded files to Finder and I look at the info section, I'm seeing a check box that says locked the check box is unchecked. However, to the very right of this button there is a button saying more and next to that to the left there is a button that says unlock. When I press the unlock button, the finder asks me for my password/touch ID which I input. Then when I look at the locked button, it says unlocked, however when I close the info window and go back to it the button then refer to its locked state.
