Hi,
I just purchased a license for SoundSource from Rogue Amoeba so I could play my music app through a separate sound card. I have my license code, and I'm copying and pasting it into the license code field, but it claims it's "for another product, or is unknown". Has anyone else had this problem unlocking soundSource on their mac running Big Sir?
Any help would be appreciated before I end up pulling my hair out, lol.

Hi,
I would like to be able to record music, but am finding it really tricky to know which apps to invest time in.
I have tried working with Garage Band, but found it really tricky removing the audio from the start and end of a track.
Also I have not found any really comprehensive guides for using Garage Band on a Mac with VO.
I have also been experimenting with the free version of ProTools, and have purchased the ProTools with Speech tutorials.
Though these are not for the free version the interface seems similar enough that they will be useful.

How do you open apps that are not verified by apple?
I have VLC on my mac and i'm unsure how to open it.

Hi all. I downloaded the app just fine. When I click open, it acts like it's open, but I can't get to the list to copy the app to the apps folder. Help? Someone who should be asleep, and I would have, if the idiot didn't rev his car when it started at 2:45 this morning. To be clear, it's one of those that revs, then the engine gets quieter as it calms down. still, thanks jackass. I mean the car owner, not commenters 😉

When I attempt to do this, I get this message.
Unable to expand “.zip” into “Downloads”.
(Error 2 - No such file or directory.
It will unzip just find on windows with 7zip.

Hi all. I looked at go for facebook, and I also found Go for netflix. I downloaded both, ahve since removed both, paying and refunding, the Go for netflix as i wasn't impressed with it's layout or accessibility. I took a shot. As of this morning, my update says I have one, Go for netflix, except i can't update it because the app was refunded. It makes sense, I don't want an app's update i can't reinstall. I can't get rid of this update. Does anyone know what to do? thanks

I updated Safari and I don't like it at all. Now the window is similar to Google Chrome's, and Voiceover reads things differently. When in facebook, I used to activate the heading list and check all the news on my wall. Now I simply can't do that, half of the headings are not read, but if you go element per element they are there.
It is impossible, but is there a way to downgrade Safari?
As you can see Mavericks is not the only problematic thing, Apple is forgeting accessibility.

When using the latest update for the Walmart app, it no longer shows the prices on the main page. You have to tap on your item and order to be able to go to the next page and then see the pricing. Any ideas on how to fix this would be awesome! Thank you.

Hi all, i'm putting this here, but everything, including iCloud has been updated. Among other things, retina support, view only setting, and you can now import charts and edit them in key note as well as numbers. Safari has just some minor bug fixes but i have a question. If you've updated, has anyone noticed the back keystroke not working? I was on youtube and it didn't want to click bacl. I was using whatever the command is, I think its command left bracket? Thanks for anyone else testing this. Late 2012 macbook rpo.

I know I might be insighting a round of scrutiny for asking this, but here goes: Has anyone found a workaround for installing/updating Adobe Flash on OS X? There are a few video sites that I frequent--mainly CBS and Youtube--that still require Flash. I don't have much of a desire to put Chrome on my machine, but when the Flash installer opens, it just says "Image." There is no accessible way to update, and Youtube stops working after a while. Any work arounds would be appreciated.

Hi all. I can't remember if i have 10.11.3 or the beta of four. Regardless, I face this issue. I have Flash version 20 the update manager launched. I have it notify me, so i clicked install. Only at the end of it, I see either support, or quit. I went to the official download site, got the same version, installed. Again same thing. However now that it says the flash manager has been launched int he background, no tapping of the trackpad or the Voice over F@ twice results in me finding the ilusive window. If anyone can help please do so. I don't know what else to do.

I'm really contemplating updating my m2 macbook pro, which I bought in 2023 to Sequoya, so I can use my personal voices I made with voiceover. But I'm concerned, because I frequently use apps like replay (AI music creation), openAudible, Reaper, and change reaction. Will these still work with Sequoya? Or should I hold off updating?

SO, the latest version of Fusion Player is out. My question is, how do I update? The learn more button is the default, but going there takes me to the store page, and I don't see a way to update. How do I update? I have fusion 12, and when i try to download the latest version, 12 is what shows up.

I have installed Windows 7, Office 2010,and a screen reader and am successfully running them through VmWare Fusion. How do I update the windows and office software? Do I use the Mac software updates or run Microsoft Update? I have been looking all over the internet and can not find an answer either way. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello, anyone done this successfully? I know 10 is coming to an end and I'd like to know if anyone has successfully upgraded to windows 11 using mac hardware? What would be the recommended way of doing this? Should I create an unintended installation and bypass the hardware and Microsoft checks that way? Or can I directly upgrade and bypass the requirements while doing so Or, should I get the LTSC version of 11 and slap that on. I know that supports holder hardware from what I've read. I'd like to stick with 10 but I also don't wanna have to pay $30 a year to do so Lol.

Hi all.
My Mac Mini, should be arriving tomorrow, has 13 on it by
default, I think. Apparently I'm not supposed to upgrade to 15 yet because various music/audio thingies may or may not be compatible.
I assume after I upgrade I just turn off automatic updates so I can upgrade to 15 when I choose to. Any simple way to upgrade to 14? Just go get it from the app store? I won't be downgrading, I'm literally going to try setting up the basics and then just go get the OS so it can update.

My mac has not been behaving properly so I cleared logs and cashes with disk cleaner pro. That did not work so I ran bit defender. Bit defender says I have 2 active threats but that the disinfect failed. I clicked on show in finder and was able to trash some of the files, then empty the trash. However, some files when I try to trash them it gives an error message saying the files could not be moved to trash because they are lock. So I click get info and the checkbox for locked is not checked. So why is it saying the files are locked when they are not and how do I get rid of these viruses?
