Hello all!
Mac
Hello,
I am trying to expand the storage of my Windows Virtual Machine. I opened the Fusion settings, clicked on Hard Disk, and used the slider to select 150 GB of memory. Then, I started the Virtual Machine, went to Disk Management, right-clicked on my hard drive, and finally found the βExtend Volumeβ option, but it appears as unavailable.
Can someone help me with this?
Thank you!
Hi friends. Are there programs to create virtual machine on the Mac system? If so, please provide me with one of its links. Thank you all
Hello all,
I tried using UTM to create a windows 11 arm virtual machine. I had so many troubles with it trying to get it to let me update windows that I decided to delete it. I know parallels does work well if you can get past the accessibility issues and the cost. Can we use the free version of VMWare to install windows 11 on arm? If we can is it much more difficult than parallels?
hi. i'm trying to find a good quality virtual machine for my mac so i can beta test jaws and NVDA on a website for my school. all of the ones i've tried are either giving me errors, or not working at all.
I was looking for an accessible platform to participate in a music jam session. I see there is jamkazam and jammr applications available on the mac. I have not tried these yet. Anyone have experience in using software to conduct a virtual music jam session?
Hi folks,
I have an app that will convert m4p files (like what you get with Apple Music,) to mp3. However, the problem I have is that speech completely disappears during file conversion. I am wondering if there is a type of virtual sound card I could set as default in mac os, while keeping voiceover coming through my actual speakers. I think this could solve my problem, again if voiceover can be routed to a different sound card.
Helo. This is Jane.
I've just bought VMware fusion a couple of days ago. I've registered it as well.
I want to use it to virtualize my machine with windows.
I have a bootcamp setup with windows 7 home premium. I was wondering if I can use this setup to virtualize my machine? If so, how can I go about doing this?
Thanks.
I wanted to get a discussion going regarding VS2019 to see if anyone else is using it and any successes or failures with it. I have been a commercial software developer for nearly 20 years on VS for Windows so the bar is high for me.
My observations:
- The text edit area is finally accessible, but getting focus to it is a serious pain.
Hi, all. I am teaching a client who is wanting to learn VoiceOver and is a coder. He is using Visual Studio Code. On a recent Readit topic, I read that things are clunky with VoiceOver and keyboard commands. Can anyone shed light on whether Visual Studio is accessible with VoiceOver? If not, are there other options I don't know if he is able to change the platform on which he works, but it would be good to have any information I can obtain regarding coding and VoiceOver. I don't know much about coding, so any information would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
I recently decided to investigate the accessibility of Visual Studio for Mac. All signs point to the application being at least somewhat accessible, but I haven't been able to find any specific pointers. In particular, I'm trying to figure out how to actually interact with the text editor, as everything I try results in the program locking up. Does anyone have experience using this program with VO and can give me any pointers? I'm using the free version, Visual Studio Community, if it matters. Thanks in advance!
Hi all,
I'm a newcomer to the Mac, although I've been using iOS with voiceover for quite a few years now. In the process of getting used to this platform, I'm attempting to find alternatives to apps I have on windows.
I've installed the Mac version of VLC, however can't figure out the best way to import media files. When navigating the screen with voiceover, I see that there is a drop files here area although command+v to paste any copied files does nothing.
Hi folks,
Today I have been messing around a bit with VMware fusion, and have a few issues.
Hi all!
I have a piece of software that runs under windows that I really want to use. Is there a tutorial on this site that discusses how to get up and running with vmware fusion? I looked and didn't see one but maybe didn't dig deep enough.
Any help would be appreciated. I see that version 7 of fusion is the current version. is it accessible? I guess I'll use NVDA for my screenreader.
Thanks,
Jim
