So, let's discuss xCode 9 here. I haven't updated yet, but I heard there were some problems with the new editor. Do these still persist or have these been fixed?
Any accessibility improvements / htings we should be aware of before updating to xCode 9?

After listening to the latest applevis extra podcast where new improvements to Xcode were discussed, I downloaded the beta of Xcode 12 to try it out. Is the tutorial done by Alex still relevant to this version? Also does anyone know of any accessible swift tutorials?

Hello all, Just interested in how to use Xcode with Voiceover. I can't seem to use the regular interface, and the information I found was from 2010. I think I need to get GCC in order to do this and code everything by hand. I would like to develop accessible apps for Iphone or Mac. Thanks for anhy help.

Hi all. I need to find a good mac app for learning typing, and I saw a couple recommendations in forum posts past for XType Addictive Typing Tutor. I have installed it, (figured out the script writer's first language is not English), got to the first exercise, and am confused. There are two edit fields, followed by what voiceover reports are the images of the two topmost rows of keys on the keyboard. What is supposed to go in these edit fields? I couldn't find much in the help section, but maybe I didn't dig deep enough.

Hi All,
I am having an annoying little problem in the latest update of YoruFukurou, on my MBP running Yosemite.
Whenever I read Tweets in Conversation Mode (Command + 3) or whenever I review slightly older Tweets, YoruFukurou reads only a truncated portion of the Tweet and then makes an Alarm sound.
If I wish to hear the Tweet in full I have to manually Interact with it, which makes following a conversation slow and awkward.
Is anyone else having this problem since upgrading? If so, sorry to hear, but please tell me how you get around this?

I'm wondering how people keep track of what you've read/haven't read in your timeline in YoruFukurou. I was previously used to using other clients in Windows where I would delete a tweet once I'd read it. Now, using YoruFukurou I will go down through the list of tweets, then new ones will come in appearing at the top. So I'm wondering how people then go back to the top and make sure they only get to see new ones? Do tweets automatically get marked as read when you cursor down onto them? What exactly does filtering with cmd ctrl t do?

After all the Twitter clients I've tried, including one I myself wrote, I find myself still preferring YoruFukurou (Night Owl). However, it has a few problems, 2 major and 1 minor.
1. Unable to tell if you like/unlike a tweet. This one is minor, and I can totally live with it, but while I'm talking, might as well write it. It just says, "Toggle favorite", not "Like/Unlike", or play a different noise when pressing F.

I’m sure that I’m missing something obvious, so would really appreciate it if somebody would point me towards the right combination of settings and keystrokes to ensure that I land on my last unread tweet in the timeline when I have just opened YoruFukurou. Everything that I’ve tried so far always has me landing at the top of my timelines when I enter the timeline table.

Hello all,
I am asking this question on behalf of a friend of mine from my Church. He happens to be the producer for our local TV Hamilton station. The video editing software he uses is not compatible with Sierra unless he spends a whole lot of money to upgrade the software. One of his former employees was lax in updating the Mac Pro she was using. This mac is now wanting to upgrade to Sierra instead of 10.10 Yosemite. Is there somewhere he can download a legitimate copy of 10.10 to put on this Mac instead of having to upgrade it to Sierra? Thanks for any suggestions.

So when I’m done using my computer, I press the power button to turn off, like completely turn off.
The next time I turn on, when it starts up, I got a message you shut down your computer, because of a problem, etc.
But I didn’t shut down my computer, because of a problem, I intentionally shut it down.
This doesn’t happen on my M1 MacBook Air.

from about a month, i can not use YOutube on mac, it behaves in a strange way, he keeps saying same word over and over, and Voice over refuse to change between hiddings links etc.
i tried removing history and all things but with no luck,
anyone has this issue?

I have found very visual instructions for finding the "dollar" to click on to open this option. I did find "show your support", but no option for accepting gift memberships. Has anyone else found this on Mac or iPhone? Apparently, you have to opt in. TIA
